Step into an epic story-driven adventure as your character becomes The Outlander, a veteran of the Great Galactic War. A third faction threatens the galaxy as we know it, and your choices will determine the fate of both the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic. Knights of the Fallen Empire includes the first nine chapters, fueled by BioWare-style cinematic storytelling, that kicks off a new player-driven story arc that puts you at the center of a conflict where your choices have impact on outcomes including unexpected twists and betrayals. Choose your path…join or betray companions, old and new…and shape the future of the entire galaxy as well as your own. Best of all, this is only the beginning…
"A god has no family". I love this line. It shows how selfish and detached Valkorian was, all in the name of attempting to become a god.
One might argue that he still loves Senya and that he already reached Godhood ages ago (After consuming Ziost he at some point said he found out that it was unnecessary because he already is immortal.
Sort of "whoopsy, I think I dropped a glass just in a scale worth of him :D
Even the most evil and ancient of gods must fall , its the nature of evil. Given enough time , all must fade and make room so that something new can bloom and flourish.

He should’ve said “Send my regards to Revan” that would’ve been badass
This scene reminds us that the Outlander now has the remnants of Valkorion's power as well as Vaylin's, makes you wonder how Malgus will stand a chance.
Power that is not your own will always fail you. The same happened to valkorion he had all the power but it was all stolen and failed him in the end.
@@Siegberg91 the nature of the method he used corrupted him further , he doomed himself in the end.
The entirety of the Old Republic timeline (meaning the KOTOR games and SWTOR) is one of the most amazing stories ever told. Also, I believe there's a petition out there for an Old Republic Netflix Series.
A'den Stormfall There better be I can’t wait to see Revan and Bastila
@@OtakuKing28 oh Lord please no… Leave them alone. Netflix better dont get their buttery claws on them.
I feel like it would be better if they made it into an animated show like Clone Wars, most things get ruined when they try to make it live action
Screw Netflix.
The light side really has a satisfying ending
Gothicar though its at its best if you keep lord dramath aswell.
yeah I'll agree with that ;]
yeah you turn into the UFP it's great
F*ck this, Darkside for life!
even though its exactly the same as the dark side one minus the tone of the speech? ends the same like every story your choices do not matter nor impact the story in a meaningfull way. gives you the illusion of choice/free will.
for me, the only downside of this story was that when you choose to become emperor, game doesn't grant you that title..while in the previous stories/expansions your choices would affect what titles you get.
I like that when they released The Old Republic they said they wanted your character to be a side character in the grand story. They said you were meant to be like Wedge, a badass working on the sidelines. Now they've made you the most powerful and important being in the galaxy.
3 years in the future....All the badass is gone LOL.
Literally, the best and smartest option to do within continuity. Cuz if your character became the strongest and the ruler of the galaxy, characters in the future would mention your existence at least when talking about the past.
Valkorian: You're nothing
Outlander: No u
Sith Lord Darth Plagueis-himself obsessed with achieving immortality-mused that Emperor Vitiate, as he was known to history, was the only Sith Lord in history who had come close to achieving the secret.
cheuk hang Yu remember Palpatine's words to Anakin ? "The power to cheat death has only been achieved by one !" I'm 100% sure Palpatine was referring to Vitiate. Darth Sion technically did it but he was living in constant pain, so that is really not a win if you can't enjoy it 💀
It's like they say "those who seek immortality truly do fear death"
@@blackshogun272
Vitiate was never canon so no
@@stormalexandrioz4308 who the fuck cares, sequels arent canon to me.
@@stormalexandrioz4308 Yes but it doesn't really matter in regard to his statement. There are two branches of Star wars one discontinued ie Star Wars Legends (with an exception of SWTOR it appears) and other currently produced ie Disney canon. Legends verse still involves original trilogy and prequels (as a lot of products in Legends expands or continues upon events from both or after those events) meaning in Legends both Vitiate, Palatine and Anakin existed.
I wish Darth Marr and Satele Shan would have appeared to help kill him too.
The non force user moments just make zero sense where they could have written them in ways that it would have at least made some sense.
Well they did in 6.2 lol
I am from the Future. They DID!
So passes one of the most powerful force entities Star Wars has ever know. going to miss him.
great finale. good to see everything at peace....for now. curious to see where they go from here.
KOTOR 3
Outlander wakes up as someone in the real world, and it turns out it was all just a dream...
i'd soon see them have either the empire and republic going to war again, ripping the alliance apart in the process, or a new force from beyond know space invading.
Being more evil than anyone else is what made him great, lol. Sadly i saw his betrayal coming from the beginning, especially in the 2nd chapter when he basically told you how he became Valkorion.
He isn't dead, vitiate dies in 67 BBY. It was mentioned in the Darth Plagueis novel
I was about to do this for my sith Warrior I'm all about peace.
but then I was like... "Wait a minute I'm a f***ing SITH. Gimme that throne I'm the new emperor you're my ALL b****** now!!!"
I went peacekeeper as a sith warrior. I like making LS decisions, but I also enjoy watching people grovel first.
ShadowSage6 I had 2 with warriors. One was a Jugg and the other was a Marauder. My Jugg didn't experience Ziost, so he was more trusting of Valkorian's power and became the new Emperor. My Marauader, on the other hand, saw the horrors of Ziost and hated Valkorian. At the end of the story, my Marauader couldn't bring himself to be an Emperor, so he became a peacekeeper instead.
(Both were Dark V)
light side sith warrior was my most fun in SWTOR
I read that in Megs voice
It was a good expansion! Looking forward to recording more interesting stuff on my other characters.
Also, the full chapters are on their way, hopefully they'll be up before I go to bed :)
Can't wait to see the dark side ending as the Sith warrior.
I am wondering what the cutscen will be when you send his father and his children at him
was this the entire expansion or will there be more chapters like in the last expansion?
wow thanks for the vid been long time since I played Swkotor :Dthey really did a good job writing the story :D
I didn't mind that actually, redeeming her seemed implausible
Thexan is the only one missing...
I wish we saw his spirit confront his father.
R.I.P. Thexan
RIP Thexan....atleast his robe is nice.
@maciek cieply well they killed him off in the over hype trailers just to pull some heart striings instead of doing it in the actual fucking story... bioware's story telling has gone to shit and they kill off people too early with no impact only for a cheap emotional responce that no one feels organicly

@@Augur007 that implies Senya is as old as Valkorian/tenebrae which is over 300 years. No Valkorian changed because he started focussing on the sith empire quite thoroughly. His love for Senya was actually real though
I feel like this would have passed as canon. Too bad Disney thinks otherwise, but to me the old republic games are as much canon as anything else.
better than the movies
Revan Ruler preach! apparently there is a petition to make the old republic a netflix series.
Orcaluv26 I'll look that up right now
Honestly I don't care if it's not canon. Being EU just means it doesn't exist in the same universe or timeline as the other stuff. And I think SWTOR is better off as a separate thing rather than connected to the films
It opens up more possibilities as well if it disconnected from the "canon" universe. Now that KOTET is over, introduce the Vong!
Valkrion is Vitiate I'm glad the outlander killed him he completed what Revan couldn't do.
Kai Vander Assuming he's dead for good this time. He could come back. In the EU Sidious came back using clone bodies, or something similar to that
Kai Vander Darth Plagueis said Vitiate doesn't die until a couple of decades before Phantom Menace.
Without his spirit to transfer, either back to his original body or to another host, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say Vitiate's gone for good this time. It's a shame, really. I liked his character.
Darth Cindros, I have to agree with you.
+KingNazaru That novel is outdated even by EU standards
Great Game! This entire Series was Great!!!!!! Thanks xLetails for playing this game! I kinda feel sorry for Vaylin though. When Leth Killed her i was sad because she could have been saved like Arcann Was. At least She Helped Leth,Senya and Arcann Destroy Valkorian
you're welcome ;]
I'm disappointed that there is no "hug Vaylin option." To save her.
Albert Mosley III a non crazy Vaylin coulda been fun as hell to hook up with and get the stink eye from Arcaan 😂
I KNEW IT. Valkorian was still after the throne!
Cooli167 Everyone and their grandparents knew that. It wasn't hard to figure out.
KingNazaru Yeah, you would think that, but I've been pointing out the hints in previous videos.... Lets just say some people either didn't think so, or didn't get what I was pointing to.
Well, i must be very stupid, i did not figure that out. :P
I knew he was after the throne, but there's some small stuff I didn't realize, like why he wanted Arcaan and Senya dead, even though they would be great allies in retaking the throne. Since Arcaan Senya and Vaylin had the power to overthrow him. Didn't realize that tbh
I swear if Bioware doesn't make my favourite companions show up again at some point I will riot. (Ashara, Khem Val, Kiara, Nadai Grell, Zenith, and my main bae Elara Dorne).
I hope they come back as well. I miss Elara on my Trooper, and Kira on my Knight, and Risha on my smuggler.
I heard rumors that this is a 3 part series. Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne are only 2 parts so if the rumors are ture then there is still 1 more story arc which may focus on developing beyond now that Emperor is finally dead.
SSobotkaJr And Ashara on my Inquisitor like, ELARA OMG PLEASE
Well yeah, the Alliance has to go down (not enough to remove it as a gameplay element, but enough to eventually prune it down and move to new things). Bioware's not gonna have us sit on a throne and delegate for decades lol. Something will spur adventure (past putting down 'Uprisings').
See here's what I don't get. You just made that big speech that literally everyone in the galaxy saw right? Shouldn't all the other companions come back then? welp, somebody clearly wants to end the relationship :l
POOOOOOOWWWWWWWEEEEERRRRR! UNLIMITED POOOOOOOWWWWWWWEEEEERRRRR!
Your power is nothing compared to me.
Are you certain about that statement....
MOAR POWAH
Yes I am quite certain that I am more powerful then you. Besides you only have thousand years of knowledge and experience while I have at least 40,000+ years of knowledge and experience. Plus I can destroy stars with ease, I am capable of summoning what can only be called an army of human souls (including every soldier who had died for me), and other powers I can't not explain in sense for you to understand.
Emperor Valkorion too bad, I claimed your soul, your rule has expired long ago, death shall imprison your cheating soul for eternity.
that's the best speech on your character. I really appreciate your time to heal the galaxy.
Did anyone besides me notice that Darth Sidious' theme played when Valkorion brought back Vaylin?
Thanks so much for these videos--and I think that in the end, Vaylin did wind up being redeemed (which is nice; I'm always full LS, so I like stories of redemption)
Nunya D. Bidness i dont like her last line tho, i doesn't fit with the somber line of senya and arcann, arcann is by far the best
Too bad Vaylin can't be redeemed too.
made me wonder, is her soul released now that valkorian is dead?
i wanted to bang vaylin it's a damn shame
I wanted to seize throne and make Vaylin dance in a gold bikini. If only this game was a single player rpg instead of an mmo.
TheBlaze22b lol I'd be open to negotiate that if I could see what she looked like under that funky headdress. Maybe she'd still be attractive...?
***** in my defense, I watched KotET before I watched KotFE, so this was all I knew at the time but I've amended that since then and am inclined to agree with you. Super hot, but definitely a bit too off the Hot-Crazy Scale to do anything with
The Great Jedi master/commander Leth restored the galaxy, what will the next story in his legacy
How his wife abandoned him ;]
How his allies will betray him, and a new song of war shall be sang.
xLetalis I'm surprise they didn't put Kira on a planet for you to find her on
Valkorion: You have won over my Children.
Me: That wasn't that hard, it's thanks to how you have treated them.
Kira cheating with Vector.
Lord Scourge's prophecy is fulfilled. Jedi Knight storyline is definitely the correct one to go with with these expansions
Yeah the Jedi Knight is obviously the natural extension of the story.
My Sith Inquisitor really had an identiy crisis starting late in the class story and especially during the Expansions. He began as a typical power hungry sith sorcerer, but overtime after he solidified his power and reputaion he began to ask himself what it was all for. Eventually, though he was made Darth Nox he began to think like Marr. His ruthless pragmisism balanced with practical calm. He'd have bursts of anger, and the ocassional sadistic moment if someone annoyed him, but eventually he became neutral in KOTFE and even a bit lightside. He struggled with this choice, but did eventually decide that he had moved beyond being just a sith. He wasn't a jedi, but he no longer worshiped at the alter of power. It became more about those he felt close to and how he could make the galaxy better for them.
This ending felt like a good end to his story... *and I'm going to pretend it was*
I always though that, the character, Lord Scourge would've fit perfectly in these two expansions (KotFE, KotET), because he was linked to the Emperor one way or another! :)
I chose this ending for my SW, even if she was dark side aligned.
With all this "the Chancellor and the Empress are getting mad at you because you are more fabulous than them and yadda yadda", i think we are going to have the rest of our old companions back in the next expansion..
If I can't have my space hubby back, I hope BW will make Arcann romanceable. At this point, they have to.
my sith inquisitor misses his girl ashara, and my BH misses his wife mako to
I love the use of the prequel trilogy's amazing music in such poignant moments.
I really liked this expansion! Good ending, disappointed I didn't get so see Kira again (seriously, why was she one of the ones they left out!), but overall really good, glad we got to see more mixing between Valkorion and Vitiate and how they became on person, as well as Valkorion dropping his calm facade and showing us the emperor we know.
"Last Question, you're a Sith lord whom is about to die, and you have discovered a secret of immense power, do you use your last breath to strike at your enemies or Share the secret with your apprentice?"
Gr8 story gonna play it soon really I would want Star Wars to make a movie on these expansions they are more interesting than the force awakens stories
Kartik Pillai Force awakens ,The Last Jedi, And rogue one we’re still very good stories .
I have two class story's left to do, and then I'm immediately doing KOTFE, I'm so exited to play this with my main.
I reached this on my sith warrior character. Man, he's had one hell of a spiritual journey to get where he is now. When faced with becoming an emperor or a commander, I decided that I was no emperor.
I just get the feeling Valkorion is not truly dead, I have feeling he will be back but different, he is changed and is working for good of galaxy.
This is how I feel after seeing what he can do.
Well there's a chance that while the Zakuul emphasis may be over/declining after this, its not quite over - and of course it would be off putting if it was entirely ignored after this. There's more to do.
They should make another story based on which side you chose peacekeeper or emperor
As an all (well, mostly :P) Light side Jedi, the white Crystal definitely adds something to the moment of Valkorions defeat. Sort of accomplishing everything he thought he, and later you because of him, could, by the means of the Light rather than the selfishness of the Dark as he would have wanted.
amazing series, loved it.
i wonder what will be next

Seriously, that voice acting is legendary
Scourge killed Revan and Meetra just so this moment could happen. That speaks volumes. Also, I would expect all your missing allies to come pouring in after your announcement, but nope, gotta wait for EA to spread the EA. ;)
Hated it so much. This should've been Revans ending right here
@@sirgideonofnir5628
Not true. Revan could have defeated the Emperor. Scourge saw futures of both Revan's triumph and defeat. It was a 50/50 chance.
Long live the Eternal Alliance!
I appreciate you uploading this series:)
I appreciate your comment ;]
This expansion put me on end on what's going to happen next I'm glad it ended peacefully I'm glad Valkorian is dead
You gotta admit: Senya is a badass!
Oh yeah...so is her son.
Am I the only one who wishes Revan and Thexan would have showed up to help defeat Valkorion? They had their fair share of torment brought on by him.
This is the true Star Wars!!!!!
Such a good ending!
Such a beautiful end.
Valkrion should have been the Main Villain of the Sequel Trilogy.
I agree but most viewers would have had no idea about him.
Gotta love it how the Knight still finds the spirit to snark at a time like this.
I can see _Terminus_-class destroyers and _Thranta_-class corvettes along with the _Gravestone_ in the distance at 2:14. The _Terminus_-class destroyer was used by the Sith Empire, while the _Thranta_-class corvette was used by the Galactic Republic. Despite being used by opposite sides, both vessels were incorporated into the fleet of the Eternal Alliance, and fought side by side in countless battles, such as the Battle of Zakuul.
Darin De Paul i really enjoy his voice as Valkorion this was the best expansion so far
14:29 Basically Reinhardt from Overwatch falling off the bridge in Eichenwalde
yep :D
Everytime Arcann talks I hear Three Dogg OWWWWWWW!
I just realized: Arcann is voiced by Eric Dellums who also gave his voice to characters like Koh The Facestealer or Aaravos
I wish that my character as a Jedi Knight could return to Tython and become member of Jedi council. I mean eventhough he is Peacekeeper, he is a Jedi, and his mission is to be a humble Jedi knight that protects the weak, he is not to be some kind of ruler, but a servant of the people.
13:56 Remember me when your Alliance burns to ash
The only thing this expansion missed is Kira Carsen. As a Jedi Knight I felt that the story was really made for me and I was hugely disappointed that I did not have my fave companion at my side throughout it. Maybe in the next one she will be back and the story will be better than ever!
Dom Parkinson Scourge too. His prophecy about the Emperor's defeat ties in heavily with the story
Very honorable, Master Jedi
Outlander: “I have brought peace, justice and security to my new alliance.”
I'm still confused as to why Thexan didn't show up here. Did Bioware conveniently forget, or do they just not give a shit?
Died too long ago and he wasn't evil.
Arcan killed his brother, Outlander shows up in his brothers armor arcan has momentarily confusion.
"We will never see him again"
"You should have known"
Kinda feel like there should have been more special dialogue with the Jedi Knight, like there was with the Sith Warrior. Just based on the relationship the JK and Emperor had.
as a sith inquisitor - can you force bind(consume) the empreror's spirit?
that would be so epic...
Unslaad Vaas Sadly, no. Binding Valkorion in his weakened state would have been a really good way to have the inquisitor seize control of the Eternal Empire. However I think it would be quite difficult to perform the force binding ritual without expelling Valkorion from your mind first.
Inquisitor is no match for his force power. He would just use the pity inquisitor.
I'll be honest when it came to the last choice of the story, it made me cry. I thought on what my character has gone through since he began his journey back on Korriban all those years ago, not only in story but also for a roleplaying experience. How he has developed into the old man I see before me, even if his choices were not dark I know that deep down my sith, Digalon, will always be the greatest characters I have ever had the honor of knowing and grow to love.
Long live the eternal emperor. ME👑
Can't wait till someone posts Lightside Arcann, Senya, Valyn, AND Dramath fight Valkorian.
💛Arcann Is A Redeemed Hero💛
11:08 when could Jedi Sentinels use double bladed lightsabers?
it's when you use the holocron against valkorion one of the stances (light I believe) makes you use a double bladed lightsaber
yep
“We will never see him again.” So that was a fucking lie
When a head space add place as soon as player hits his head
You can see the anger and fear Vitiate is feeling; he knows that he will die and that this time there is no coming back...
I'm a little confused because people kept saying that if you did the light side ending, you would lose Lana and Theron.I heard that regardless, there are hints that a new "civil war" starts between the jedi and the sith.
I just don't want to lose my two favorite companions.
you don't lose them, they just don't come with you in the last chapter. As for the post credits scene where reps and imps are plotting against eachother, that happens regardless
Thanks for replying so fast! Yeah, I saw how in the dark side ending, they come with you. It makes sense now. Thank you. :)

"First you have me kill Vaylin, now you enslave her spirit. This is cruel Valkorion, even for you."
Bro, he committed global genocide TWICE, this is nothing for him.
Valkorian: why does this feel familiar
*looks into the past
Valkorian: SIXTEEN OUTLANDERS?
One can only come back some many times before their soul is irreparably damaged. I’d say it safe to say Valkorian is permanently trapped in Chaos.
What’s the lightsaber you used in this? It’s pretty dope
Also how did you get two lightsabers? It looks epic
I think both sabers are from the cartel market, check the weapons on there and you'll likely find them. As for how to use 2 - you have to be a Jedi Sentinel / Sith Marauder to do it
Ok so im confused, it says hes a Jedi Sentinal, but he is using a double bladed lightsaber, which is for Jedi Shadow, also earlier in the video he had 2 lightsabers
“We will never see him again” So that was a f**king lie
Would have liked some kind of unique title for the jedi knight as you have now finally killed the emperor.
Jedi Lord?
Logan Smith Maybe but I don/'t really know and i'm just saying this cause as we know in the knight storyline the knight originally hunted down the emperor and seeing that the knight bested the emperor multiple times after it would kind of make sense to get a unique title for finally finishing your job in a manner of speaking.
Slayer of the Emperors. He killed Vitiate twice, killed Darth Malgus, killed Emperor of Agony, defeated Arcann and even more.
asad huse well that depends on whether you did the side quests or not plus there was no emperor of agony mate only a lord.
***** Dragon Hunter?
This will be the path my Shadow takes, my assassin on the other hand will rule as Empress.
i cant believe this started with lana being suspicious of darth arkous (or however it works pubside!)
"This is cruel Valkorian, even for you." You're talking about the guy who absorbed multi-billions of innocent souls for his own immortal power. Who raised an entire meritocracy run off of slavery and imperial conquest. Responsible for the deaths and suffering of trillions. And enslaving one psychopath's soul is 'cruel even for you'? Okay.
Well, Valkorian's finally dead. That is satisfying... however, it seems like this is a finale to The Old Republic. With Valkorian permanently dead and the player either the Peacekeeper or Dictator of the Galaxy, you can't exactly step it up from there. The only real loose end to tie up, here, is the companions. About 20 of them are still MIA (Kira, Doc, Scourge, Dr. Cedrax, Zenith, Lt. Iresso, Nadia, Dorne, Corso, Risha, Akaavi, Quinn, Jaesa, Khem Val, Andronikos, Ashara, Vector, Dr. Lokin, Ensign Temple, and Mako). I know it's hard to work them into the narrative, but BioWare, you still have to account for them, especially because over half of them were potential love interests. You can't exactly just ignore them.
There's actually several story threads that could mean something bigger, as well as Bioware finally again turning to Republic vs Sith conflict stories that could, now in this such unified narrative, even be more interesting than ever. But that's optimism talking. Vitiate was never the focus of all the class stories, only some, and Valkorion and Zakuul story isn't necessarily entirely over. But sure we're probably done with some Force and Sith/Eternal Emperor big baddie things. It isn't necessarily about stepping it up as it is about interesting and intriguing players. And there's plenty of tease for things that could do that. Ironically, your character may be seen as the villain/danger by others now.
Lokin's not MIA, you get him in "A Kindly Monster"
Well, that makes 19 companions missing...
There ARE other stories they could tell in the Old Republic, but then it would just feel milked IMO. This felt like a satisfying place to end, at least for the JK. Then again, Luke killed the Emperor and things are still happening, so...
Grant Brown vitiate finally died before 67 BBY
Such a great expansion.
the ending is great... but the name "eternal alliance" is just sooooo lame...
If they do come out with another expansion it will b called Star Wars knights of the eternal alliance
Star Wars really likes its non confrontational sounding governments (when they're the good guys)
I can see the "Eternal Alliance" ending quickly if only because I don't imagine a Jedi being that great at making laws or running something so huge without at least a few people taking the piss
Which is why the Imperial Agent is probably best suited for leading the Eternal Alliance. They have experience dealing with a multitude of people and are able to adapt to a situation. They are also capable of making choices based on what would be better overall and not what they would see as morally 'correct' or 'incorrect'
They could of called it the galactic alliance
I wish in SWTOR they gave us an opportunity to be an admiral for the empire
And not sure for a equivalent for the republic. A senator maybe
