I went a couple weeks ago and my nephew had the green priority pass (the other one was orange so it's easy to tell the difference) and it was a life saver! Even though it wasn't particularly busy, the queues got to be over an hour long, and there's no way he could handle that (he is autistic). The cast members were great and understanding, also it covered the three of us (his mother was there as a carer for him). What I found was great about it also is that the card lasted the whole trip, we didn't have to wait to reacquire one every day we were there. The ride operators are also great and have stopped certain rides for easier boarding. They also make sure that the car you're in is priority incase of a ride breakdown and evacuation is needed. This happened to us on Pinocchio and the cast members got us out before my nephew went into complete panic. I love how understanding and inclusive everything in DLP is, no matter what the persons story is!
Hi Cherry, this is so wonderful to hear! Thank you for sharing your story with us. It's great to know that the cast members are so considerate and help you out wherever they can. Isn't that true Disney magic? We love it! :-D
How amazing they handle it so quick and understandable. Sometimes it makes me emotional how Disneyland Paris makes us feel so safe and comfortable. They always take care everything you need (in my experience), you don't need to explain, because they already got your story. I love that so much and it feels so safe
This was so interesting, I am ignorant to the difficulties in which disabled guests have to face and have always wondered how this works. I am so happy that DLP is so inclusive.
Great video! I get a priority card and everything you guys covered is so helpful :) I just want to add that in many counter service restaurants (such as Casey’s Corner) there is a special till or line for disabled guests, which means we don’t have to queue for a long time for our meal :)
Thank you for making this video. We are going to DLP in the first week of July and we have two children with Autism - our first family holiday abroad. I will speak to my wife and get one of the disability forms filled out - thank you so much for the information you’ve given.
We’re taking our youngest for her first visit this year & was wondering how it all worked. This video has helped answer some of my questions. They also accept from UK residents DLA forms & paediatrician letters dated the last 12months when I asked before what they accepted.
My daughter Callie would love to go to Disney land Paris. She has autism and other disabilities causing her to use a wheelchair. This is a useful video so thanks!
Thank you so much for making this video! My husband, kids and I will be visiting DLP in June 2019. My oldest is severely disabled, so information like this is priceless for us. Just this past week I've had a very interesting phone conversation with guest relations about the type of accommodation that will suit our family best and I must say that the person who called me (Paul) was incredibly helpful and answered all the questions I had most kindly. I really hope that the rest of the CM treat us just as well as he did in DLP!
We're so glad to hear that the Cast Members helped you so wonderful and that our video has helped you as well. We hope your DLP experience will be just as good!
@@SeeYouInMainstreet thank you! 😊 keep up the great work with your videos, we'll definitely come over and say hi if we see you in Main Street... or anywhere else!
Thanks for the great video. When we were at Disneyland for the last two years we had my brother with a disability too. The staff are all very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for your work!
Hiya, quick correction- you actually can use the easy access pass for character meets- you just can only have 1 return time at a time, so while waiting for your character meet, you can't get a return time for a ride or another character. With the priority cards, you can have multiple reservations for character meets at one time. :)
There is also a special entrance at the princess pavillion. You need to make a reservation if you would like to meet one of the princesses. But make sure to be there really early because those spots are gone quickly!
super video! now a lot of research itself already :) but do you have for parking at t hotel also a parking card for disabled or is my green card with annual pass sufficient? • • oh and I now have experience :) think that Disney has arranged very well for people with disabilities and their companion (free ticket). they certainly do not make you wait any longer than necessary and that is very nice !!!
Are there enough spots for wheelChairs to stand during the shows? How much time before the shows do you need to be on the spots for wheelchairs so you can actually see something
Thanks for this video. I'm looking forward to visiting DLP for the first time in September & will be eligible for a priority card. I wouldn't be able to manage a trip without one as I'm autistic, chronically ill & a wheelchair user.
It really is a shame that the orange pass doesn’t allow you to access the places to watch fireworks and parades. Especially if your injury involves the legs
I have extreme diagnosis of anxiety and I have many crippling panic attack in areas that are hot or lots of people so lines are my worst fear. I already have a lanyard for at the airport. Do you think I can get any passes in Disney?? Xx
just saying the easy access card isn't just for people with temporary disability - it is also for people with long term illness but are not classed as disabled
Can you go to a disabled parking spot without an orange or green card? Because as I understand it, you can only get those in the parks. But for the first day, we arrive at Davey Crocket first and then go straight to the park. We wouldn't have a green or orange card yet. Does anyone know?
Big Thanks for the Video marvelous as always, if you like i have a idea for another video and a small challange for you, beeing epileptic i was denied acces for many thrill rides and had to find diffrent things to do whild my best friend and my fiance conquered the big 7 of DLRP. So how a about a video for mentaly impared People and how to spend you visit in Disneyland Paris when you can not do Thrill rides ( main reason for it are flashing light) best regards and hopefully "see you on mainstreet" some day Kai
I read on the DLP website that a disabled guest’s caregiver gets in for free. I am my severely disabled child’s caregiver but where do I buy tickets (and show my child’s disability documents) to get my free companion ticket? I see that where you get the disability cards is already INSIDE DLP but what about proving my child is disabled BEFORE I enter so I can get a free ticket as her caregiver? Thanks!

i have multiple sclerosis, and so I get tired out/fatigued when walking a lot. I have to use a wheelchair when I become this way. Can you hire electrical scooters in disneyland paris? i used a disney hired electrical scooter in disneyworld orlando, so just wondering if i could do the same for disneyland paris?
Hi Sonia, At the moment Disneyland Paris only has manual wheelchairs available. There is nothing I can find if this going to change anytime soon. A quick Google search on "mobility scooter rental disneyland paris" gave a lot of results. Hope we gave you a pointer in the right direction. Best wishes Sven & Elise
I have a question..I suffer from Fybro and have difficulty standing for long periods of time. In the US, Disney provides me with a pass the get a return time on many rides but I have never had to show documentation. For DLP, what would be right for me? I have a letter from my Dr saying I have been treated for Fybro since 2011 and a sheet from the US disability Help website describing the condition. Is that enough?

I know this is old so I don’t know if you went yet but if you have a regular ticket the fast pass available with it works the same way:)
