One thing that's for sure, at least, is his regular speaking voice and his upper-crusty Lucifer accent are not the same thing. ;)
You're allowing your fight or flight response to kick in. Part of his acting is the ability to Emote. Ie he is expressing specific actions that you are reacting to. If you think about it, any particular time you run into something that makes you uncomfortable, there'd be an emotional reaction. Putting out false aggression, or any emotion, is a necessity to be a truly good actor.
I get scared too sometimes, I suppose it's natural though. I'm easily scared too so it doesn't take much. It's almost a good scare though since the character is not really dangerous to innocent humans.
He is such a lovably awesome person. He is so articulate and eloquent yet highly entertaining to watch in any interviews. Oh and his laugh makes me melt. I keep falling more and more in love with him. I only recently binge marathoned 42 episodes of Lucifer in six days back-to-back. I regret nothing. Better late than never.

Just a correction from a Welshman here, Popty Ping is not actually the Welsh word for Microwave. Popty means oven so someone decided to put ping on the end of the word as that is a sound a microwave would make and that is how the myth began

I love seeing welsh people succeeding in show business because I’m welsh and sometimes I feel like if I pursue acting/singing I won’t get anywhere brocade there aren’t a lot of parts in Wales. (Before anyone says anything yes, lots of shows are set in Wales but auditions tend to be held in other countries brocade there isn’t enough “local talent” 🙄)
What I'm loving about the show is that it presents human nature just as it is; yes, Lucifer tempts, but in a fashion that draws on people to follow their own compulsion. I think Chloe is able to resist him because her mind is set on a course - she has her view on life and she lives it in all honesty. She's hiding nothing, so there's nothing for Lucifer to tempt out of her. But because of that, she becomes an enigma to him and draws HIM out to understand the human drive to strive for redemption. As a Christian myself, I'm loving this show, and seeing how Tom portrays Lucifer, I can see his family taking pride in saying "That's one of ours, there!"
How I wish Lucifer was on a main network!!!!!!😬😭 I can't afford Netflix 😭 I am so hooked on this program, Tom Ellis is a perfect devil. The cast, Lauren and the entire cast work so well together. I am very happy that the program is continuing, but very sad that I will have to wait and someday buy the DVD's. Signed: great admirer.😭
