Tom Ellis had a wonderful personality. He talks so eloquently yet knows how to find the balance between light-hearted and a smidgen more serious topics. You could honestly listen to him talk for hours. Tom is so down-to-earth. I started Lucifer six days ago on random whim...and intensely binged all 41 episodes in 6 days. How have I just started this wonderful show?! Now I"m fully caught up and shall continue to keep watching Lucifer. Fox's Lucifer is fantastically addictive.

i did not know 'Detective' was a phrase, until i saw this interview. It actually has that effect when he says ' detective' :) his accent.. .its just melting. Love him :)

I did not watch this show when it first came out. After some friends told me about it I started watching and got caught up, and now it is one of my favorite shows. I especially like Maze's character development.

I didn't care much for shows like this but the first time I watched Lucifer I was hooked and can't get enough. He is perfect for the part and makes the show so much more enjoyable. There has been a couple of scenes where he has the perfect looking eyes when out to get someone.

A truly enchanting show. So glad the religious zealots weren't able to convince the studios not to run it.
The terms 'Devilishly handsome' and 'Devilishly charming' come to mind. Mischievious "Playful in a naughty or teasing way" as well.
I bet Tom doesn't have any idea... I didn't know that headphones could be so dangerous. His voice, like silk going down the surprised corridors of your ears, resonates directly in an undefended heart... Yes. It has the right frequency... It's not fair!

Fox does that alot unfortunately. Fox liles the cooking reality shows, sport and animation which sucks.

I like how he, when talking about Miranda and how she is thinking about her show, he mimics a bit of her behavior/facial expressions. Sweet!
This is why I love Tom Ellis so much. He is unbearably good looking and he doesn't use it to his advantage. He is so grounded. Thank you Tom for not letting all of this go to your head. Please continue to be who you are. Amazing.

This was such a good interview! Thank you for posting this. I have watched so many snippets of interviews (with TE about Lucifer) or shows where the hosts or the questions were so cringe-worthy I couldn't even finish watching it. Tom Ellis is a class act. There are not enough words for how much I love Lucifer and all the characters. The actors are all fantastic in their roles and they have great chemistry with each other. The show is funny and poignant-- and at the center of the show is the great friendship and budding love story between Lucifer and Chloe. I'm in the US so I clear my schedule every Monday night to see what Lucifer has in store for us next. Kudos to the writers of this show. Very witty!

Came across this show by chance halfway through season 2. Now truly addictive. Tom Ellis is perfect for this role and the other actors so well put together it's uncanny. Hope the writers never run out of idea's. x

Well, in fairness, Lucifer is depicted as a cool, charming and likeable asshole protagonist, while Umbridge is described as a short, frustrating, toad faced straight up asshole that you’d love to see graphically tortured by the end of the book she’s introduced in. 😬
@@alexman378 In The Sandman Lucifer is as you described, in the Bible, he's just an arrogant asshole who is hell bent (pun intended) to either take over heaven or drag as many to hell with him as he can.
@@SheepdogSmokey Well, I’m talking about the screenplay and comics though, since that’s what the actors have to go with to realize those characters. If they went with a 100% Biblical Lucifer, I’m sure things would be pretty different and I doubt he’d be the main character.

I didn't No that the Listafer had a comic book Why would anybody do a comic book about the devil.... I fell in love with the series I haven't seen it all yet but what I have seen I enjoyed especially Tom's performances.... I still don't see him as the devil he seems to be a beautiful angel... I want to head and Brought the complete series.... I hope that they will bring back the show with the original Cast because everyone is brilliant and the writers are absolutely out of this world...... Tom you're absolutely Marvelous And I really enjoy your performances..... I found out that the show is not on the air anymore but T N T have picked it up... I love him... but I was a bit miffed at the dismissive attitude about LA. But, all transplants have it, I guess. I've been to London several times, and she is LOVELY... but I love LA. Outside of that, Tom Ellis is great and should be the next Bond (or Idris Elba)

I really like Tom. He's incredibly talented and I enjoy Lucifer immensely. But he needs to explore the West Coast of the US in general and California in particular. He doesn't know much about the place--which I can understand because he's probably working most of the time. But the West has plenty of interesting "architecture" and "culture." For example, San Francisco is a beautiful city that can rival many of the world's cities in terms of culture and a stunning urban landscape. Tom just married an American woman, so maybe he'll spend more time exploring the US--and then maybe he'll learn more about the US and have a different answer to that question. Can't end without stating that he is a great interview--intelligent, good storyteller, affable, great sense of humor. Enjoyed this.
It’s relative. I have lived on the west coast of the US and UK, the former has less architectural diversity and cultural range and history, comparatively. One hundred percent. It’s because it’s younger, built only recently. Whether you find one over the other more or less beautiful is subjective and he’s stating his opinion as you have yours in describing parts of the urban West coast ‘stunning’. He grew up in the UK so it stands to reason that he likes its culture and architecture more.
@@thinkhaven7902 He basically said here, and I've heard him say elsewhere, that he doesn't think it has any culture or architecture worthy of note. That's my problem with the statement. Preference for the UK is fine. I wouldn't comment if that's all he stated. I like him, and he seems very intelligent and is a critical thinker from what I can see and hear. So I believe that as he has the chance to travel more in the US, he'll have a different perspective.
