I am the world's biggest non knowledgeable person. I rescued an 88 civic hatch that sat in my buddies garage for almost 20 years. In 2001 he had it b swapped. I got 1000cc injectors a turbo, p28 with hondata. I am completely lost. I have the service manual and helms book. Ughgggg
@@VTECAcademy exactly. I'm trying to get into this stuff on a deeper level. And you guys are heading the spear on this type of information. I wouldn't know half of what I do if it wasn't for yall. Thanks for the hard work. 💪🏼💪🏼
To my understanding a low impedance is a peak and hold injector and a high impedance is a saturation injector. Hopefully someone can confirm this or tell me I am wrong :-) great video!
@@4OhmAudio there is a little metallic box about 4 inches long by about 2.5 inches tall that sits under the hood of Hondas that have low impedance injectors…like for example my 93 accord has low impedance injectors which it has that little box next to it. I would post a pic but RUclips doesn’t allow stuff like that
yeah I have k24a2 tsx injectors in my d16zc sohc v tech coap ex never gave me any issues gave me more power and I nitrous kit too in it 75shot dry no issues works fine
Can you do a tech thursday on worthwhile Vtec pressure sensor replacements? OEM is about $100, I got one on amazon for under $15, it worked for a month... Running Hondata flashpro and have the sensor turned off at the moment so car doesn't fall on its face at 3,600rpm... Is OEM the only option that actually works? Got 162k before it died. I don't want to keep running with sensor disabled but I also don't want to drop $100 if I don't have to. Honda 07 GD3 FIT - (P/N crosses for K series engine as well)
@@VTECAcademy Also once the OEM and aftermarket sensor died they will pop the check engine and fall on its face basically every time the engine goes into Vtec = leads me to the harness pigtail loss of connection not causing the issue. With sensor disabled engine runs exactly as it should, I just don't like the idea of sensor off long term but maybe it is non-issue?
Hey I just recently subscribed to your channel thank you for all the knowledge and for helping all the amateurs like myself . So i just have one question referring to this video. If the fuel injectors are low ping like you say can that cause you to get the ecu code 43 ?? I’m building a b swap ef sedan in California so I’m just trying to get all codes cleared so I can bar it and drive it legally , any suggestions or information will be greatly appreciated
hello I read that if you use high impedance injectors, you have to connect all the wires of the resistor box together is it true or not ? what do you think about this ?
Glad I found you. Subbed

Where are you located? I might be able to help sounds like fun
Good stuff guys 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching! With swap ecus becoming more scarce, it's a good thing to not burn them out.

How do I tell if my computer is for low or high impedance?

I'm using the factory K24A2 injectors on my 1989 CRX with Hondata. That should be okay.....?

How will you know if the ecu got damaged if a resistor box was not installed on low impedance injectors?
Any good alternative to OEM RDX injectors? They’re kinda getting up there in price unless someone knows where I can get them for less than 400$

Do you mean 37250-PRB-A01?

Can I use b16a injectors on my SOHC engine and not tuning it?

hello
I read that if you use high impedance injectors, you have to connect all the wires of the resistor box together
is it true or not ?
what do you think about this ?
Does k-series need high impedance injectors ?
Yes, so you would bypass the resistor box.
So I could run low impedance injectors on an obd1 setup as long as I keep my resistor in my b swapped ef?
Thanks for info.
my car OEM injectors is 15.9ohm .can I use 12 ohm injectors instead?
Yes you can
My car is a low impedance set up i just got some dsm black top 450cc injectors they came out to be 4.6 ohms are these considered low impedance ?
Awesome
What size injectors would you recommend for a k20/k24 all motor build?
500cc they good for 3-350hp
Just subbed
Would this be needed in an 88 crx b18v with p28 and rye wire harness?and also, who do you use for dyno..ecu tuning ?
Thanks brian.
