As bad as GT might’ve been, Goku’s SSJ4 design in GT is still my absolute favorite Goku design. It’s just so damn cool. The concepts behind the transformation were pretty badass too.
Its so iconic to many of our childhoods. Including that legendary SSJ5 and SSJ6 drawings lol
I didn't even find it bad , Super 17 is the only straight bad arc .
And some of its peaks are the best of the franchise , like Ssj4 overall and its introduction , narrative of Baby arc and its overall story tying so many things together so well . The goosebumps when Vegeta pushed beside the crater Goku is supposed to be dead in laughs at shenron and says he lost and passes out before Goku coming up with the spirit bomb with the GT Anthem in the background is some unmatched level , let alone them showing different stages of world shattering before one's eyes on Shenron's face when his strongest attack does nothing to Goku , going " Who - who are u " .

@@humanman9920 You’re right, it’s really not that bad. There are several things it did very well. But, ultimately, I think peoples’ real gripe with it is how it feels kinda like a school project that got rushed by otherwise A+ students. (If that makes sense)
@@BlakeElliott35you know I never thought of it like that, I love gt (well I love all 4 of the series) but it did feel rushed a lot. I think I read in an interview somewhere that they did admit they rushed some things

It could be either way. But it's possible they just had him record lines as SSJ4 Goku so they don't have to him come back at a later date to record more lines

Real Comment: I need my SSJ4 forms as Base Roster cuz why would they make them dlc now? They already have been in games before so its kinda a precedent at this point. If I have to, Ill let android 21 be dlc and be fine with that but they HAVE models of her from DBFZ and Xenoverse 2 added her pretty damn fast. So unless her VA is busy, they better have 21 in base game as well.
But I've always had whack experiences with dubbing so, I kinda don't care for it but quality dubbing is always a plus.
Like how well done the Tidus Laugh is.

now the real question, will the game have Heroes type characters since both Raging Blast and Raging Blast 2 from the same creators had SSj3 Vegeta and Broly and those were Heroes characters, especially with Xenoverse making Mira and Towa more known and they're originally from Heroes

Kyle herbert voices alot of characters gohan ryu from street fighter 6 fat gum in my hero acad etc. Kyle herbert is as iconic as chris sabat and sean schemmel. Also my guess would be that they focus on dbs and z then later as dlc we get gt characters and dragonball characters. Hell we still havent seen uub yet and uub is ij the end of Z yet we are focusing on characters from z and super so why havent they showcased uub yet. I think its cause hes also in gt

I still dont know why they arent gonna make a redo of gt i the style of super that will make it cannon in some kind of way cause everybody loves super sayian 4 and the gt villains.
GT never became non canon , watch daima trailer . But yes a longer version to make some of the cool fights longer with modern animation with colours that doesn't mess up the raw feel of the old would be good .

Ok genius when people ask if super saiyan 4 will be included they mean in the base roster not as some bullshit DLC add on later on. You can make a case that ANYONE can show up as DLC later.
Eh, if GT is only DLC and not base roster, that's still really disappointing IMO. Especially because it'll be after Daima, who's characters I have very little interest in. If GT can't be base roster in this game, with 164 frigging slots, that definitely makes me feel like it's never going to base going forward
Super hero is also DLC too. If they're smart they also continuously update what ifs. Adding more content and capabilities there alone can keep this game going foreber
@@BltzZ I'm not too thrilled about Super Hero being DLC either. Was really hoping AT LEAST Beast would make base roster. I get it's been in development for awhile but Fighterz had very new DBS characters in base that were around for much less time. I just would've preferred GT and SH be base, and then DLC could've been focused around video game exclusive characters (21, Towa, Mira, etc) and Heroes characters. But we shall see
@@Ragiroth I think it's reasonable, they wanna stretch the games life cycle a bit longer so those elements could come later. I don't think a whole year or so but maybe a few months. Then daima would be the later addition and so on
@@BltzZ I get it, I just think there are a lot of ways they could've stretched it. I mean counting forms, movies and GT have A LOT of characters, so much that it may not be feasible to get all of them in, unless this gets Xenoverse 2 level of support. And Dragon Ball is a pretty big universe. I'm sure having a few movie and GT characters in the base, and the rest as DLC, wouldn't have dried up the DLC well TOO bad at least.

I hope its atleast free DLC and not 2 years. Less than 6 months I would hope for. After we've had our fill with the base roster and other implementations

It all depends on where you heard it first. I am the opposite, but I love the sub for many other animes. I think the best dub is prolly Death note or YuYu Hakosho

The game clearly only has enough space for Z and Super and they'd be stupid to not have DLC for a game as highly wanted as this, I hope Movie Characters will also be part of the season pass if Gamma 1 and 2 are anything to go by
Well it was confirmed already that Gamma 1 and 2 are in the DLC. I mean they appear in the image for the Season Pass, and it mentions 3 DLC, Dragon Ball Super Hero, Daima and the third one is not named.
Maybe ssj4 is a secret Charakter like in the old games

You're not alone king. I too loved the toonami version and miss it. Back in the day someone had a torrent where they combined falconers music into DB kai's dub and it was amazing. I've lost it and never found it since. Life's been cold.

The issue is, if sparking zero is being sold as tenkaichi 4, then it should have GT in base, no dlc/season pass and other bullshit, i don't care that it's not a game from 17 years ago but it's 2024 now.... if it was in base game then it needs to be in base game now, unlockable, shenron wish... whatever just already in base game.

GT . Super is cool mindless entertainment for the most part , but it doesn't sustain my interest in the franchise for much longer after watching it . But it had some cool ideas as well that could've been done better .
Gt is the most underrated series in the dragonball saga goku was alot more brutal in super Saiyan 4 due to super saiyan 4 being rhe peak of saiyan power. If you notice the form with red fur is an omage to the oozaro form in which in that state a saiyan is alot more savage and ruthless. Super saiyan 4 is known for being savage especially when he fought the shadow dragons in that series. Super Saiyan 4 is unlocked by harbessing the oozaro state and obviously needing a tail.
Okay now the question is … with GT content being on the table. Where does Z movie content stand?… I want to fight meta cooler on namek

The screams and stuff is hard because it's not an American game. It's not like they get videos of the moves. So it's harder to put that emotion and flare into the characters. So I never really worried about it. As it is different though because the Japanese version will be better as they have the videos and stuff to work off of. If they had the same disadvantage as the other voice actors you can see that they would struggle as well to put that kinda flare on characters. Most of the time I just hated that the lips didn't match the mouth of the characters. Especially when you can see they say something short or long and it just doesn't match.

i personally think the reason Chris Sabat and Gohans va looked up at Sean is because they know ssj4 ISNT in the game, and thats why they were caught off guard when he mentioned it.
If that's the case. Which I doubt. Then it would be the first time in Tenkaichi's series from 1-3 that SSJ4 Goku would not be in the game lol.

I love Super Saiyan 4, it’s such a cool form, and the fact that they’re bringing it, and possibly other GTA characters over to this game is AWESOME!
And it is really interesting to hear how they voice the character’s’ screams and what not, as it pertains to the anime compared to how it’s done in the video games!
