how peggy starts dancing cracked me up
Same😂😂
That's the perfect song to have in the background while your heart breaks 😂
Tiff was probably the most popular character in the show's history. She really resonated with viewers because she defined that old fashioned cockney charm trope, especially when you consider that 90% of the female characters on the show are usually miserable and sour faced. Tiff, like Angie Watts before her, brought a lightness of spirit to the show, and warmth. Through all the drama, she still had that softness about her, that femininity, which is just captivating.
Such a mistake killing her.
I agree
+Austin Pearce it was definely
@@austinpearce5442 yes but would she have been in love actually and her thighs would have been missed😆
Messylin Tiffany was, for me, the most beautiful woman ever to have graced Walford. She had the looks of a young Snow White, the personality of a modern day Elisa Doolittle and home life worthy of a Jeremy Kyle Special. That Tart With The Heart persona softened as the years went on. As for her death scene though, that soft as lights sparkle in her eyes could literally be seen fading, until they were literally just extinguished. A testament to the acting I suppose. Even in death she still looked immaculate, none of her makeup got smeared and not even a hair was out of place. The character’s legacy lives on, whether through Janine uncannily purposefully looking just like her as a means of mugging off Terry, or the early days of Stacey Slater donning her old black headband.
Mal Young and Matthew Robison can both go suck..........enter your expletives here in tribute to one of the show’s most beloved and original party girls.
Eastenders was better back then. When it was less innocent, the actors were better and it had more depth.
completey agree.. i was a huge fan, stopped watching it 3 years ago because how bad its got
it was best in the late eighties
I agree
Well actually it got better once tiffany Grant and Bianca were gone and replaced by better characters such as Melanie Steve Lisa Jamie Billy Laura the truemans Dan and the Slaters and the return of Sharon.
@@meridian2000 yea 01-03 was a very golden era. Probably the period from about September 01-January 02 was 1 of the best eras in the show's history.
Urgh, I couldn't stand Louise, such a self centred person who didn't give a toss about her kids.
what sort of mother would even think of embarking on an affair with their daughters husband anyway like she really hates her kids that’s for sure, she is selfish and self centred
Tiffany was so beautiful they should kept her on the show
I was disappointed when they killed her off, even more disappointed when it turned put they'd axed her.
ew, ur pfp
@@LightLife4 she was worth a few more years
@@LightLife4 she wasn't axed, she'd asked to go.
Poor Tiffany
This scene definitely made me cry
Poor Tiffany😪💔.
Lol - the ppl background doing the conga
I never did like EastEnders much after they killed Tiffany. It was like a complete betrayal to the character not to let her leave the square alive. Unforgivable even.
They got rid of Martine because apparently her character was getting bigger than the soap.
itsjemmabond no, she went of to do a singing career. And wanted to leave EE but with the option to return if her music career failed and BBC bosses weren't happy so they killed Tiff
Bobby W
But that's not what the former producer, Mal Young said, although what you have said yourself is true. A lot of other soap stars, like Sid Owen, saw there singing careers flop, which led to them returning to their roles.
It was so unfair to the audience to kill her. She deserved a happy ending.
Once Tiff was killed off the show was never the same...I stopped watching she was the heart and soul of the show
I remember watching this the first time around, I feel old lol
RIP Barbara Windsor.😔✝️🌹🙏🏻👏🏻💖
Her last episode was extended to 45 minutes, not because of football like the combined episodes are today, but because she was so immensely popular. I even think they originally intended for her death scene to be far more gory. Viewers were meant to see profuse amounts of blood gushing out the back of her head and dribbling down the road into some drain.
Cannot believe this was actually 20 odd years ago
💔☹️😔😞😢😭
Ta for the two of you who gave me a like btw
Apparently she didn't even find out she was leaving the show until she read it on the newspaper
Unknown _ swear she heard it on the morning radio first, pulled over (she was driving a Vauxhall) in shock and spent two and a half days not knowing if Tiff was gonna end up a stiff
@@connieoshea yea she even sang a song about it then after she left 'on the radio'
Eastenders was THE water cooler chit chat back in the 80's. the show was must see BBC. No Bake off or Peaky Blinders back then. How times have changed
mediacenter man I was a pre-teen when East Enders first came out so too young (at the time) to know about office chat.
I do know that the world was a VERY different place then, one my own kids would struggle to recognise. There were only 4 channels and channel 4 only came around early-mid 80s. There was no reality TV. So of course EastEnders was the big thing back then!
What a way to find out!
I got well confused when she was at the phone. because she looks like Janine Butcher
EE was best years ago. Each character had personality, and more rounded. Each character was played by great actors. The storylines lines tackled difficult subjects at the time. Now the characters are shallow and it’s all violence and killings.
'But Grant, it wasn't like that!'
'YOU SCHLAAAAAAAAGGGGG!!!!!'
See what happens when you get your hopes up
So true
It's a pity they killed Tiffany off. Remands me of that song breakfast at tiffany's
But that was her perfect moment...
alphaxerosyx lolllllll so glad I came across this comment even if you wrote it three years ago that's a classic!
I knew an idiot who thought that song was literally about EastEnders.
@@lmjones7716 I think when it was released in 96 Martine Mc Cutcheon was at the height of her fame and Tiffany was TV's biggest starlet and a household name so yea I think a lot of the people connected it with the character. Eastenders had well over twice the viewers back then.
Old clips of EE make me feel so old now especially seeing the kids growing up and now having kids of their own
Poor Tiff
How disgusting
Tiffany was soooo fit back then
I fancied her like mad
Me too.
Curvy little minx!
@@adamkane7513 You can say that again
She was gorgeous 😍
Tiffany was so pretty
She should have left him long before this
realistically she should’ve left him the minute she found out that he cheated on her with Lorraine, but even then tiff still harboured feelings for grant
Shame they killed Tiffany off. Reminds me of that song, breakfast at tiffany's. :-)
martine is very very pretty
Tiffany is beautiful why would he go dipping into that nasty common old bat.
LMAO!
This was ages ago.
Have you get the one after this
from 1:28 what is the music played in the background
Chris Dawson it's called Do The Conga by Black Lace.
@@tezzyyoung492 cheers I watched it on RUclips the other day
This like new year party at pub?
Tiff was beautiful
If Grant had another baby with tiffany things would have been worse and would have controlled her more
Can’t blame grant for everything though she knew grant didn’t love her but still maliciously destroyed his relationship with Lorraine who he clearly loved and she lied to him 3 months grant had a thing for women who was more mature and was closer to his age Tiffany was way to young for him so in my opinion Tiffany gave as good as she got
@@missjemma9978 Grant never loved anyone else apart from himself
@@missjemma9978 i understand Miss jemma .However grant never loved Tiffany .if he loved her .He would not have slept with his mother in law
Have u the follow up episode of this
Oops 😂
Does anyone else think that she looks like Stacy Fowler
Martines better looking.
No. More Janine than Stacey.
WAw
No Lauren tbf
Tiffany is pretty, no way she looks like that bulldog face Stacey. The fact the Stacey is a total bitch and miserable 99% of the time doesn't help the matter.
grant grew to fall in love with tiffany but it was too late by then you would think he would’ve learned his lesson from lorraine but obviously not this was the worst betrayal and as for that worthless mother why would you even think of doing that to your own kids? sleeping with your daughters husband, that’s sick she slept with her own son-in law.
when Eastenders was excitng
who's the one behind the bar who clearly can't dance
Lmao
Why did they kill her off
They should have brought tiff back instead of cindy
Neither of those characters should have been killed off in the first place.
@@andyandrewaasutton8851 literally Tiffany had so much more to give as a character she didn’t even get to see her own daughter grow up.
2:02
her response to me being her blind date
I agree that killing off Tiffany wasn't the best choice but then Martine launched straight into her music career almost immediately so perhaps she was happy to be written off at that time.
She wasnt beacuse in an interview she said she didnt know anything about being killed off she heard on the radio but martine didnt wanna leave ee at the time
@@yasali6649 Ooh I didn't know that
Acer Ace na its fine x
Tiff was too nice for Grant. Love grant tho. He was better than sharon
Gear aat of mar pab!!!
Shame tiffany left she was brilliant
Such s pretty girl so sad they killed her off like that 😢
what year was this
1998
1998 a few weeks before Christmas because she was killed off New Year's Eve that year
I remember this episode lol, I was like 4 years old, that year Grant pushed Tiffany down the stairs.. it was such a big topic dem times lol
@@WorthysoundENT He didn't push her, she fell.
yeah I loved tiff but she died 😧😧😢😢
how?
+HeyIm Kam Grant and her got into an argument and he took their daughter and left the pub. Tiff had chased Grant out the pub and she tried to get her daughter back (he wasn't aloud anywhere near them after he was bailed out of jail) and Grant had pushed her onto the floor and he ran to the over side of the pavement where is says "Albert Square" Tiff ran not realising that a car was coming. She was run over and because of the time she fell down the stairs and had a blood clot in her head, her head wasn't healed properly, so when she run over she instantly died. And that's the story of how Tiffany died in 1998
We all loved her.
What year did this happen?
November 1998. 19 years ago.
Ryan Abbott 1823😈😈😈😈
Loved EE back in the day. Nowadays it’s lost the plot.
like any woman would go near Grant !
ha I went school with her brother
Grant defo is here 4 her mum😉
I think tiffany should have went straight up stairs and confront them both immediately, instead they drag it out ..didn't care much for this storyline..the cast were leaving
1:44
Where is the episode after this ..tiffany should have burst into thst room and got her mother
@@kathysamuels1465 honestly I don’t know why Tiffany never confronted Louise because that has got be the biggest portrayal her own mother and her husband, Louise just made herself look desperate knowing full well that her daughter wanted to actually get back with Grant.
Why asnt Peggy changed her wig its nearly falling off
As well as being a hard man, he was also the biggest scumbag! He didn't deserve Tiffany.! Tiffany should have had a happy ending with beppe. But eastenders wouldn't be eastenders if it didn't have gloom and doom init.
I get that Tiffany did deserve a better ending but she even said herself she couldn’t help but still feel something for grant, so if they did end up together she would’ve just unintentionally used him to try and get over grant.
...... 1:45
But he didn't have an affair they were not together. It happened once when they were not together
There relleted
