Montabaco Intensivo is beautiful. Ozonic, fresh, tobacco leaf, relaxing.
Ormonde Jayne tends not to make screamers in terms of projecting, but their complexity and blending is master class.
My favorite of theirs is Nawab of Oudh Intensivo
I was finally able to pick up 40 Knots and it arrived as I came down with covid and lost my sense of taste and smell. Perfect timing! Although I was barely able to smell anything, I was able to get a slight whiff of it and wow, it's as good as you say. I have about 45% of my smell now and tomorrow I'm going to try giving it a wear. Can't wait to be back to 100%!
To me blue fragrance is the best especially in summer season.

Good idea for a video. I’ve been collecting for a few years and do find most blue fragrances a little boring.
My gut response would be Dior Homme 2020, Chanel Eau Extreme, Polo Cologne Intense, ADG EDP.
Everyone has his own fav category of fragrances, mines blue and i personally believe it is the most liked and versatile, can't go wrong with it anyway, anywhere. My collection consists of bdc edp, ysl y edp, cahsee, le beau and prada luna rossa

Great choices from Omar as usual. I also suggest Armani Code PARFUM, It is a fantastic fresh, powdery and creamy from the tonka bean and it really improves the code DNA, lasts 10 hours on my skin with medium projection.
How does it compare to Absolu and Profumo?
@@Chris6815 I have all of them, absolu and profumo are more on the sweet loud ambery leathery vanillic type of scent. But the parfum is more classy and refined with the aromatic notes like sage and citrusy bright notes like bergamot, bergamot leaves and the aldehydes.
The parfum has nothing to do with the absolu but it’s closer to the profumo but doesn’t smells like it completely .
My personal preference is

Profumo
I love Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme.
I have 2 bottles from this list so must be heading in the right direction. I'm aiming to slow down and buy more classy unique scents. 40 Knots sounds very interesting. Might get a 100ML.
Lafayette Street is my 2nd favorite fragrance... I get ton of compliments....i actually wear it more than my favorite Tom Ford ombre leather...
Also you can add Bois imperial from essential parfum, great every day long lasting fragrance
nothing can replace bleu de chanel

I fully agree with 40 Knots. Great performance and smells great. I just ordered Azzaro Chrome Extreme.

I love blue fragrances … a nice hot shower or bath… with a nice soap … fresh shave… followed by a blue fragrance

I love Intense Cedrat Boise for the first 2-3 hours but then it quickly fades to nothing by hour 5 on me. Kinda weird because it's fairly strong those first two hours.
I totally agree... on me It doesn't last for 12 hours. At least I'm not alone lol
Just spray a few times so the oxygen can come in and put it in the box or dark place for 1-2 months and see the magic happens.
Is the projection as good as YSL y edp? I want the people to smell it.
My recent bottle seems to last a long time, I go nose blind to it but my boss complimented me on it around 6 hours after I sprayed around 4 sprays
Also edited to include, I wore this to a rave (oversprayed 10 sprays) and women love intense cedars Boise

I need a good alternative to Jo Malone's Wood Sage and Sea Salt for Philippine Weather. Don't get me wrong Wood Sage and Sea Salt is good but not long lasting. I just need something that would last a while.

I have a few of these alternatives and they are very nice. In regards to the rest of the alternatives, for me some are meh, some are good, and some are very good. IMO, NONE of them are better than BDC Parfum which I find to be a 10/10 fragrance, I'd chose having BDC Parfum over having any of those...heck all of those. I'd take some of these over many of the other popular blue fragrances though...

I strongly disagree when Omar try to put Le Beau Le Parfum as a versatile signature fragrance.
I have it and wear it only for party/clubbing, because it is too sweet and have strong projection. I can't wear it in the heat, I live in Brazil, a very tropical country. Maybe in the cold Europe it can work as a signature.
The traditional Le Beau was made to be a summer/signature fragrance, but Le Parfum isn't.
It's okay to disagree.
Very strong projection? No one's talking about le male elixir, mate. Le beau le parfum is considered as a summer fragrance by 99% of the people so there's nothing to disagree here

dont buy 40knots guys...... its nothing like it says neither fresh nor aquatic.... its very ambery and warm and feminine kinda powdery not a hint of freshness... sold it the day after i bought it
