- All southbound lanes of I-15 at Flamingo are closed after a pedestrian was involved in a deadly crash on Tuesday morning. Officer Ashlee Wellman, a public information officer for the Nevada State Police, said the pedestrian wandered onto the highway and was "struck multiple times." Alyssa Bethencourt reports.
I drove north bound past this scene and saw body parts and body matter. That is why theycan't identity the victim. Its sad

They can’t identify the body, because there is no IDs on their person. With a drivers license, etc., it wouldn’t matter the shape of the body… They would be able to identify them.
Yes, I saw the video of a bystander who saw it happened… pulled to the right and started recording… all you see is body parts on the ground and the guy recoding is a few feet from the remaining of the body

The cleanup is gonna take a long time. His parts are scattered all over the freeway. I saw the actual video. The squishing sound of the body getting run over was nasty. Definitely ran over more than 3 times.

I drive pass this area almost everyday at around 245-3am on the way to work. I've seen people running across the freeway many times. They need to build the fence/ barriers much higher with barbed wire to minimize people climbing over and running across the freeway.
I guess but if you don’t know you’re not supposed to walk on a highway I fear for humanity

There’s videos of this, if this is the same person then one lady hit a guy which landed him on the road, his body was in pieces , and lots of cars kept going and ran over different parts which spread and smeared him all over … what a horrible way to go

Maybe don't try to walk across one of the most active highways in the country? Especially not where cars are all going 65-70.
Now they are unidentifiable because car after car ran over their body not knowing what was happening and the woman in the video was traumatized thinking it was her fault you decided to be a crack head.
Seen the video. Made me want to shut down the freeway with a minigun. Apathy should be met with apathy.

inshaAllah all those involved can somehow find peace... i can't even imagine. it will take a long time for the drivers and any family or friends of the person to get over the trauma. as for the person, i don't know how they ended up in this situation but no one deserves to go that way. i hope it was quick and they didn't feel the pain. i'll be keeping all those involved in my dua's. i also really hope i don't come across that video.

"Hit" is a poorly used word in these cases... that dude got ran over by way more than 3 cars. Maybe initially he was hit by 3 consecutive cars- but if you know where to look, that situation went down very different than explained.
People... drivers can't see a damn thing in dark sections of freeway/higheay at night... any street really. The drivers that pass by after an accident l8ke this cause more damage running your body over... which happened here. This guy was smeared all over the road... if you check the article by LasVegasSun you can see the aftermath very clearly. I'm surprised they used that shot for the header image...

Exactly... the drivers not involved with the accident just drive by and think there's random debris in the street- and think nothing of it.
Didn't help that the pplice lights basically blinded everyone passing on that section too... they couldn't avoid running him over if they wanted to, it's not their fault.
Question, how many motorists called and reported this HOV lane pedestrian ?

Helped?????? no one HELPED kill him, he walked across a goddamn freeway and EVERY DRIVER ON A FREEWAY IS GOING AT LEAST 60-65mph. He was stupid enough to walk across a freeway like that and expect to keep his life unless he did it intentionally. He caused the accident himself and therefore basically committed suicide. No one going 65mph can stop in an instant just to save someone's life. It's impossible and even if it was, a driver wouldn't be that stupid to stop for a reason person basically asking to be killed.

@@andrealima4011 The number 1 lane (HOV) is the far left lane, meaning that plenty of people probably called the police complaining about an idiot walking on the highway. Doubt they'll confess.
He was not jus hit by 3 cars, some young girl hit him then since America has no more soul, car after car and truck after truck kept running over him. NO ONE BOTHERED TO EVEN SLOW DOWN.

Many years ago a person was in a car accident. Crawled out of his car, up the embankment and onto the highway. 18 wheeler ran him over the 18 right behind him was to close to move over. Ran him over again.
This Is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen, the cops didn't block the street and cars kept driving over the body ripping it apart spraying blood and body parts all over everyone
