The Pedersen rifle in Sniper Elite 5 isn't one I would normally use, but I wanted to see how viable it is for a mission. It lacks any optic sight which makes it terrible for long range engagements.

Yeah, that's also my gripe with the Carbine D.L.: you basically HAVE to land a headshot to get a 1-shot kill, especially with Jäger soldiers. That's why I like to use the 50-110 (Win & Co 1885) which basically guarantees a 1-shot kill, even at 300 metres. I really like this shoulder-cannon. 😁🤘

The Win & Co 1885 is a beast. Love that weapon, though I hardly use it.

Try the m1 carbine… imo it’s very punishing yet rewarding gun to use and depending on the mission it’s quiet like a pistol which is crazy… if built right with subsonic it’s quieter than most pistols… love the content ❤️

The M1 Carbine is a good weapon for sure. Probably why it's in nearly all World War 2 video games.

Tried it and got killed for the first time in ages! Not sure if the rifle has any redeeming features, but thanks for suggesting it and well done on completing the mission. The final shots from the safety of the exfiltration point are always good, although I've never seen the cliff sniper come down and have a go. Thanks, as ever for excellent content

Thank you for the kind words. I too had never experienced the enemy on the cliff come down and attack me. I guess the enemy still can function out of bounds while we cannot.
