- Sorry in advance for the Engrish being barely comprehensible, it was REALLY hard to tune this time. In retrospect I probably should've gone with GUMI like usual, but man I just love flower's angry ass voice too much (though maybe it's a bit too aggressive here OH WELL)

i saw the title and thought GHOST and ferry did a collab and my heart almost stopped. still really awesome song tho, vflower compliments the lyrics well despite being not as understandable. good job ferry!!!
MY THEORY ON THE SONG.
I'll call the character flower because thats the name of the vocaloid.
So flower finds photographs of herself and someone she is in a relationship with and remembers them and the many memories they had together. "The dumping ground for all you both ridden near pride has claimed you heart inside its treasury" means that Flower remembers all of these memories and they mean a lot to her.
Flower and the other person they had some sort of arguments.( I think the line "until this race ends with a photo finish" means they want these arguments to stop and for them to get along agin.)
also I think "please ease this afterimage (afterimage could be used as a metaphor for how they keep having the arguments, sorry if it doesn't make sense.) I'll trade my living core for all my paste mistakes" might mean that Flower made some mistakes th that cause all of the arguments, and now they regret it deeply and would do anything to stop it.
Flower misses this person and wishes it was like the way it used to be (when they got along and were happy together. I also think the line a "part of me was nowhere to be found" the part of them was this person, who they love and miss the happy time they had). The line "I'll be the phantom of those older days" means that they still want to remember the older says and the happy memories.
"sadness was left in the cutting room floor (cutting room floor means something that didn't make it into the final product) at least that was my first impression seeing you at the door" might mean that Flower thought all of the crazy arguments were gotten over with.
"But soon you grinned filled with pain it became such a bore. The weight of agony became such a chore , I abhorred."
might mean that the arguments were still going on and the other person was still mad at flower, and it bored flower with the pointless arguing that Flower hated/was tired of.
"Just say my visage will never leave your mind's eye colorful display, I pray. That you will grant me this one privilege, but even if you let it face and fray, I'll always love you anyway" means that Flower wishes that the person they love won't forget about them, but even if they do, they will love them anyways.
