Phil could have a second career as a world class instructor. His short game instruction series is on another level too. Crazy to have such playing talent, as well as such a masterful skill at explaining and teaching.
Philip with tips on drivers consistently is ridiculously brave but the truth of this video is fake news. If your aunt had a penis and it would be your uncle
Love him or hate him, Phil’s smile and his simplicity of telling why and what to do is awesome. I happen to love the guy, he plays golf no matter the circumstance like we all think we could. Never settle for the easy shot. Only difference is, Phil hits most of those shots, as we never should have ever thought we could. Go LIV golf. 0:22
Phil is an excellent instructor! Many know the information, but are unable to communicate well. He is exactly right about the lumbar spine vulnerability with trying to kill the driver. I found out the hard way last year. Still recovering.
I liked Troy's humility listening to Phil's insights, considering that she was a long driver. She already knew a lot of what he was talking about. Troy is a good woman, I enjoy her commentary on the course also.
To me, it looks really fake. Remember SHE is the student not Phil. Having RESPECT is expected. Phil is actually the one demonstrating being respectful when he doesn’t need to be.
*Wow, great interview both were in their element equally giving each other a chance to speak freely about golf porn to our community. Beautifully done.*
The core training is so important. I had back surgery at 60 years old and the first time I played following surgery I was hitting the ball 280 when before it was more like 250. Now that I am no longer doing my core exercises I am back down to 250. Yeah stupid me should have continued to do my PT exercises.
Phil is just brilliant simple but he's tge greatest in my eyes for keeping keeping simple but speaks so much sense nad I've taken all his tips and how he plays the game on board and my god my game Haa come on do much thanks to this man. People listen to him he speaks sense
Wow, this all makes so much sense. I’m 29 years old and a +1.3, played my whole life all the way through college. Lately I’ve been able to get back into golf and noticing my hamstrings, lower back and shoulders have been flaring up big time. Thanks for the tips on guarding injury in these areas Phil. Now I continue to rip BOMBS for decades haha
Have you personally examined every player’s calves on all the tours worldwide? Or were you just talking about the pga tour? I would love to hear how you fell into such a line of work-or was it more of a hobby?
Timing the push off the front foot is where I am stumped. He says the lead leg push makes his hands drop in to the slot which seems to early to enage the brakes so to speak. I would have assumed the push comes after club is back to parrallel or already dropped. The push would ocurr after your lead knee and hips have recenterd while you in the slot position. Any comments?
Associated with the lead leg straightening and the lead foot rotating to take pressure off of the lead knee, you put all that torsion, flexion and compression onto the lumbar spine. A recipe for back pain and injury. Look at those players with longevity and not so much length and see that the lead knee flexes towards a lead foot that is slightly turned toward target from the start. At impact, this puts pressure on the lead thigh which is better than the back at handling those forces.
OK first things first this guy plays golf for a living. It’s his job so he can dedicate 100% of his time and life to doing this also he’s an extremely talented, gifted human being. He is special you will never play golf like him or swing like him. And last doing this exact routine it’ll take you 2 to 3 years to gain 10 miles an hour of club at speed it takes time also, he is a lot fitter Then 99.9% of the men his age on earth

Driving tips by Phil??? In his career, he finished INSIDE the top 100 in driving accuracy only 3 times and those three times, he was in the 70s and 80s. Not top 25. Phil can't find a fairway off the tee with a map.
Phil Mickelson always speaks with qualified insight, he's truly a master golfer in my view.

I would very much hope that Phil is a talker! 👍

Indeed. She is long drive competitor.
I agree. i'm a huge fan of her.

Always very generous with his instructions

Phil 😊 is always straight up when giving tips. Will definitely incorporate these into my training ... thanks from Samoa
Lefty is great! Long LIV golf!
I just witnessed Phill's drive what a beautiful sight. ⛳😎
Definitely looking forward to that follow-up video where we get to see what Phil does outside of the golf course to keep in shape! Make it happen ;-)

How good are both of these. Great to listen to
One of the most talented players in history. When it comes to around the greens, there is no one better
Phil is a legend

Can't wait to see this as all the videos and lessons I have are from right handed players :-)
Super insightful video, great stuff
Great video! I want to see more on Phil's fitness!!! PLEASE!!!

I can’t help but picture Freddy listening to Phil talk so technically and shaking his head lol. Freddy’s like, “I just feel it and hit it.”
He hits his driver fantastic at the moment high and farrrrr I was very impressed

This was really interesting.
Excellent.
I’ve learned a lot from his wedges videos. Great instructor of the game. Also phil likes to talk so… 😂
I’m going to the range right now.
Is Phil a center axis driver of the ball?
What brand speed stick is that?
Such a G!
Swing speed club link would be great. Where to get one of them?

Like TW Phil and others its great to relax and share success story’s after your a wealthy guy 2:23
He’s one of the most intelligent guys in professional golf. He’s a natural teacher, very articulate and personable.
Didn’t Sam Gary’s pre shot routine for driver is actually a sound training tool.
Can I get the names of the training aids he was talking about?
Can someone tell me what the sticker on his hand is for?
Anyone know the name of that speed stick he travels with?

where can i get those J's phil has on??????????????
Travis Scott, they’re worth a couple of thousand dollars and those are custom golf shoes. He’s got $400 million so the word no doesn’t exist to him.
Is Philil wearing the Travis Scotts!! Nice
Phil's repping Van Halen these days
Phil has some of the most amazing lag in his swing that you will ever see. Thats why he can still outdrive younger guys.
Why as he not the Ryder Cup Captain?
It seems lately everything the PGA touches turns to crap.

What's on Phil's left hand??

That isn’t true. Beginners and even intermediates can gain ball speed by simple changes in form. Also hitting the gym

someone tell Phil those Jordans run 1/2 size larger
Phil’s like, um your out driving guys in their 20’s too lol.
I’m dealing with a rib/back injury now. Wish I watched this a few weeks ago. Had my game on 💯💯. Thing I was playing too much tho

This is the last guy I would listen to about how to hit a driver
Phil giving driving lessons?....Worlds wildest driver?
Not the guy to ask about driving unless it is driving your reputation in the ground.
She's beautiful....
Yep!
Got that? Good.
All pro tips are for guys who started playing when you were 10 yrs old
So, Phil's switched to Maui Jim's lately, hasn't he? Good choice ;-)

Did he ever say how he lost his weight?

Phil, what’s up with the legs, my man? You have barnacles.
Not known for his driving accuracy though..
