What a lovely piece of history. Thankfully they managed to sail in the end . One of my ancestors was a Huguenot , they left France and joined King William the thirds army . They were hounded out of France because of their religion. They settled in Ireland . It's a terrible thing when you are persecuted because of your beliefs.
