A quick tip on keeping warm at night in a rv...put an eggcrate mattress pad under the mattress. It gives a thermal break between your matress and the platform.
34 years ago I had a custom mattress made for my bed. I know how it feels to be over six foot tall and trying to sleep on a five foot eight inch mattress. I sent to Australia to have it made because I could not find anyone in the states that would do what I wanted. It was very expensive but It was very worth it. It still sleeps like did the first night, like a cloud. In fact I think it has gotten better with time. I wake up every morning refreshed and in the same position I went to bed. My wife can get in and out of bed during the night and it doesn't disturb me at all. All of this over 34 years. I'm definitely like you sleep used to be hard to get, but since I upgraded the mattress it made life a whole lot better. I would recommend everyone pay what ever it takes to get a top quality mattress it is worth it. By the way I hope your well goes good for you. New wells are very expensive.

Yep im living in a 38ft camper at the moment and have been for 8 months in Iowa . I replaced my mattress with a 9 inch thick memory foam. So much better than the 3 inch mattress that came with it.

Pool noodles are great for corners on rvs inside and out. Just slice down 1 side and slide it over. If it will work for the corner of the cabinet, you could paint it black to blend in
I'm glad you found a bed that fits you better. Now you need to customize those cabinets and cut them out to the shelf level and maybe put in a small corner shelf under them for your charger's/phones/watches/jewelry/water bottle so you're not bumping you hand or arms on them.
A tip for keeping warm is to use 2 micro fleece blankets. Use 1 for a bottom sheet and the other as the top. Holds your body temperature in. Toasty warm. I use these at my home. I only have 1 propane space heater to heat over 1000ft and no insulation . It's an older home

Thinking of your well being, Pest-repellent plants are known to keep wasps away due to their pungent smell. Plants like Peppermint, spearmint, basil, eucalyptus, cloves, geranium, thyme citronella, and lemongrass are wasp repellent.

We lived in an Allegro Bus for five years and traveled over seventy thousand miles touring the USA. We got the motorhome from a dealer and I told them that I had a previous back injury. They put a mattress that did me a good job. The mattress was everything that I needed and it didn't cost us any more.

Also I would encourage you to get a humidifier so that you can help your allergies because I have no doubt that there’s some offgassing going on with the new RV and it’s causing your sinuses to act up. I’m an interior designer and one of the things we have to be very careful about when we put new products in our house is the offgassing that comes from the glue and the paint and the chemicals that are used The products that are within the home and you’re in such tight quarters that I am sure it’s causing some of your sinuses in the way you both are sniffing and coughing that’s what I would do to help with that is to get that vaporizer. You don’t have to get a big one just something that’s helping with the air quality. Love you guys and you’re so cute together have fun ♥️spooning

I've read if you take a brown paper bag fill it with paper, tie at the top hang it near your camper. Bees and wasps thinks it's a hornet nest. They won't come near it!
I can see the giant difference from here. I saw the turning didn’t sag, you didn’t sink. The thickness of the mattress is for comfort and fitted sheets will fit properly, wrinkled sheets are uncomfortable. Congratulations on your new mattress!

23 years ago following my accident that has totally knackered my back I bought a Tempur mattress to help get some pain relief and that was a body changing thing, I was told 20 years ago I'd be wheelchair bound within 2 years but I fought to keep walking as long as I could and I got best part of 10 years before it called and I put it down to the high quality of the Tempur mattress. We have just had to replace the mattress as it was starting to go so we looked around and in the end none came close to how good our old mattress we were getting rid of was so we went back to a Tempur mattress knowing we'll have another 20 years of good sleep plus I now spend most of my days in it. In the case of mattresses you only get what you pay for and Tempur mattresses do it for me in the UK plus they were the original memory foam mattress maker following them making the foam for NASA for use in the space rockets. So I'm with you on replacing that wad of sponge they called a mattress and I'm glad you found a mattress manufacturer that would supply you with what you required and in a timely manner here's to many a comfy night's sleep on your new mattress.

I had miserable allergies until I started using a netty pot ( squeeze bottle version). It really works. I have very mild symptoms now and have not had a sinus infection since I started using it. 🙃 Kyle you are not a big person you are a tall person. Great video guys! I’m impressed with all the ways this company was able to meet your needs. I was hoping you would give us an update after a couple nights rest. Camper beds are not great. I can barely make it through a weekend on ours. Have you all got an air purifier in you camper? With living full time in yours it would definitely be a game changer especially for the recharge time of sleeping. I’m sure that would make you feel even better when you wake up. Also may sound silly but I put a fan outside our campers door on high during the day when we are using it. So it’s pointed perpendicular to door. Keeps the flying bugs from taking over the inside of the camper. Take care and God Bless!💞

My nephew got their California King mattress that came in that same box for their house when they moved. They love theirs. FYI their instructions said they could not sleep on the mattress until the next night.
Well three days on the skid steer was certainly a test for the new mattress. Have to say your clean up looks great. Far more timber there than appeared to be. So glad you got an extended time communing with the highlands. Your Dad had them well trained! It is amazing just how far those necks stretch particularly Tessies. (And Fred will be a year old next month.) I remember someone visited the highlands and they recognised him as a stranger. They took off bouncing around the place tails flying keeping out of reach. Actually I was happy because to me that meant they were not totally vulnerable to cattle Knappers.
So happy for you guys. As I’ve said we full timed RV on the road for approximately 12 years. Yes there are many challenges but it’s like a small apartment and you make it to your liking. We didn’t like the king sized bed that came in ours. We down sized to a queen sleep number that was made for RVs. One of the best moves we made. Of course many other things also but you need any hints just ask. Blessings always 💕🙏🏻💕
It took me three days after I bought my RV to change out the mattress. I had a memory foam mattresses and it took care of the problem. And it too was MADE IN AMERICA. I know longer have my RV due to medical issues. And helicopter adult children plays into the picture here. So glad you got one that both your backs, and makes sleeping better.

When we purchased our rv , changing the mattress out was the first thing we did, even before using it. That makes a world of difference.

I had miserable allergies until I started using a netty pot ( squeeze bottle version). It really works. I have very mild symptoms now and have not had a sinus infection since I started using it. 🙃 Kyle you are not a big person you are a tall person. That is a great looking mattress. 👌 looking forward to your report.

We used the old camper mattress as a box spring and bought a queen size mattress and put on top of it. That was the first thing we replaced also.

Great video guys! I’m impressed with all the ways this company was able to meet your needs. I was hoping you would give us an update after a couple nights rest. Camper beds are not great. I can barely make it through a weekend on ours. Have you all got an air purifier in you camper? With living full time in yours it would definitely be a game changer especially for the recharge time of sleeping. I’m sure that would make you feel even better when you wake up. Also may sound silly but I put a fan outside our campers door on high during the day when we are using it. So it’s pointed perpendicular to door. Keeps the flying bugs from taking over the inside of the camper. Take care and God Bless!💞

My nephew got their California King mattress that came in that same box for their house when they moved. They love theirs. FYI their instructions said they could not sleep on the mattress until the next night.
Well three days on the skid steer was certainly a test for the new mattress. Have to say your clean up looks great. Far more timber there than appeared to be. So glad you got an extended time communing with the highlands. Your Dad had them well trained! It is amazing just how far those necks stretch particularly Tessies. (And Fred will be a year old next month.)
I remember someone visited the highlands and they recognised him as a stranger. They took off bouncing around the place tails flying keeping out of reach. Actually I was happy because to me that meant they were not totally vulnerable to cattle Knappers.
So happy for you guys. As I’ve said we full timed RV on the road for approximately 12 years. Yes there are many challenges but it’s like a small apartment and you make it to your liking. We didn’t like the king sized bed that came in ours. We down sized to a queen sleep number that was made for RVs. One of the best moves we made. Of course many other things also but you need any hints just ask. Blessings always 💕🙏🏻💕
It took me three days after I bought my RV to change out the mattress. I had a memory foam mattresses and it took care of the problem. And it too was MADE IN AMERICA. I know longer have my RV due to medical issues. And helicopter adult children plays into the picture here. So glad you got one that both your backs, and makes sleeping better.
