I used to listen 👂🏽 my cousin speaking on child support. He used to say “it’s child support, not bitch support”. I never 👎🏽 knew how dishonest women were when it came to buying the child(ren) what they need, opposed to her spending the money on herself and her boyfriend. It’s terrible
Men shouldn't really care what the money is being used for as long as their children are safe and healthy.
I paid child support and was alienated from my child. I didn't care what the mother did with the money because I knew (for the most part) that my child was safe and healthy and I was fulfilling my legal and moral obligation.
Sometimes men just be wanting to see their baby mommas struggling or down bad, because they are.

What kills me how they reward the woman for not working.. my oldest kid mother aint had a job in 13 yeers but keeps getting increases off my raises.. yet she been avoiding custody court for years dragging that on... i filed for custody when kid was 7 after she moved her out her grandmothers house to a bfs apt. She tried to counter my custody claim by making up a story that i was gonna kill them and tried to get a restraining order. Judge didnt buy it tossed that... she cut contact for 2 years and avoided court hiding from service for custody i had to get a lawyer and they caught her slippin 2.5 years after i filed they actually started to move on it.. i didnt miss a cs psyment entire time. Got a temporary custody order at age 10 kid 13 now still in court if i did that in child support court id be in jail after 2 months. But its ok for custody

There's no such thing as child support extortion from real fathers. A man is obligated morally and legally to financially support his child/children and any man that tries to avoid that responsibility ISN'T a real father.

Former cs payee. In Tennessee, I had to wait about 2 months after the child support was filed to go to court to see what I would have to pay each week. The Child Support office on the day of court, took it from the time it was filed to the day of court and calculated my payments with me showing about $1700 BEHIND. I asked them how could I be behind? They told me they go back to the day it was filed. That's BULLS**T! Thankfully, those days are gone. And what I don't understand, they put you in jail, but while your in jail, you keep getting further behind. What's the lesson here?
That is why some states let you go to jail on the weekends so you can work during the week to catch up on your arrears. Some states also do house arrest where you are allowed to go to work and come home
I took my sons father off child support because I told him all he needs to do is be a father to his son however that looks. Don’t like Government intervention in a family situation. He & I both have families and are doing well. We get along for ONLY for the betterment of our son.

Michigan is the worst! FOC was taking so much from me at one job I had to get a second job, in 2 weeks they started taking half of my pay from my second job. And I wasn’t in arrears they kept informing my children’s mothers to increase the amount and of course they did. I’m so happy that that chapter is closed in my life.

After my sons ex hid his kids from him for about 8 years, she then went to court & had her current husband adopt them. The same judge who awarded me grandparent visitation also did my sons case which isnt allowed. His attorney told him the judge had already decided how he was going to rule & this was before proceedings even started. They still expect him to pay back child support even though he didnt even know where the kids were. Nevada family court is corrupt & sucks!

My BM uped my payments and she didn’t even tell me or was I served court papers plus we used to talk everyday, once I found out she made she acted like it was my fault and I missed my court order and I have 6 months left on Child support and tell me "It’s only for a few months"…. I filed for visitation violation in Virginia recently and she missed court .The Judge issued a warrant for her arrest. I have joint custody and on child support .Average guy but I'm exercising my rights ,he 8 .9 more years ,luckily I got my cdl so my situation will get better
Great interview! I myself am tired of the bullying with the child support system, suspending my driving privilege (license) for getting behind. Now, that I'm unable to catch up, I have found out that they've actually turned the debt over to a collection agency which shows up on my credit report. It's constant bullying with them, and it's putting deserving Fathers in hardship and driving us mad to the point where some of us have just given up and suffered defeat 😢

All they need is your first, last name and address and you can be subpoena to take a dna test in 90 days to see if the child is yours. If you dont take the test then you are placed on child support by default. But get this. You have to take the test in the county that child support claim was filed in so if you live in GA and she files in Seattle, you have 90 days to get to Seattle and take the test. All this legal... INSANE!

When I was in my mid 20s, a 40 something year old co-worker showed me his check and said "this is why you need to be mindful of who you decide to have kids with." I saw the Gross pay, then what he actually took home after child support and taxes, I damn near shed a tear. He was living in a mediocre 2 bedroom in the suburbs dealing with a crazy roommate. Meanwhile, the mom and child were living in a fancy condo in either downtown Atlanta or Buckhead. Driving a Mercedes, living it up. I think she was just a rental associate at an apartment complex. The system is definitely rigged and designed to keep the man down and families broken. Sometimes you see the stress in men faces who deal with that. So happy I don't have kids and don't plan on having any.

None of these women allude to the fact that more than a few refuse to allow the father ANY contact with his kids DESPITE the fact that he is paying Child Support.
My father use to say men might not need if they could stop by regularly with supplies for the kid. IHowever, when women are manipulative and vengeful, it is impossible to use reason. Daddy also would say that Mama was the best thing that happened to him - and he grew up in the streets of Chicago.

No one is seeing wage increases anymore. That is the problem. I am 40 years old college educated. I work hard and with integrity. Yet in 30 years I have never had any type of meaningful raise that keeps up with inflation. Inflation is going up faster than wages. Add in they are bringing in cheap labor to keep labor cheap and abundant you begin to realize there is no point in working for years with a company that doesn't appreciate you.

Did you have an arrearage? If you fell into arrearage, then the department of child support enforcement may and likely will continue to collect until the arrearage is paid, even if the child has passed away.
My child's father only had to pay $75 per month for child support (you heard me right) and that was 30 years ago. He paid sporadically and would end up losing his license or going to jail because of non-payment. He finally convinced me to take it (him) out of the system and promised to pay at least $100 per month. I agreed because I felt sorry for him and didn't want him to be incarcerated over it. To make a long story short, when I took him out of the system he was in arrears to the tune of $35,000. He made maybe 10 payments towards our notarized agreement and then the payments stopped. He's self employed and receives 100% disability payments as a veteran. (Just a deadbeat father, nothing else can describe it.)

Fellas protect your seeds and use protection if you have sex with someone you aren’t married to. I can attest to this. I had my first kid at 20 and been on child support since I was 23. I’ll be done with it in 2.5yrs and I’m current on payment. Praise God! When you get behind on payments they charge you interest which makes it difficult to catch up on, garnish your wages, prevent you from getting your drivers licenses, and take your tax return. Be smart and protect yourself!
My bm stopped taking her bc and didn’t tell me 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️. Only reason why we didn’t use protection is because she said she was allergic to latex. I tried to use other protective but felt like I had vice grips on me… long story short. I’m not on cs, but I have no access to him. When I USED TO have access to him, her and her people talked about me like a dog in the background when I’d be trying to talk to him. I went through a depression phase in my life where I pretty much almost off myself by od. God was definitely on my side that day, because when I was damn there out of it, I threw up EVERYTHING.

As I've said for many years, the system feeds off our misery. Judge Brown just confirmed the juvenile justice system places a part in all of this. The courts know how dysfunctional all of this is and capitalizes on it all, that's how it goes. We have to find better ways of working through our issues outside of the system, this is the only way we can avoid this crap.

This is insane. No the child support is not about the kid. There's been child support parties. If a man tried that the judge will find a way to take it from him. There's some States that allow a woman to claim any man as the father even if there's proof that the kid is not his, he's still charged to pay support, "To care for a child". And then theres a wonder why so many men are turning down having kids, reason 1 and 2.
Child support is about the child, but of course some mothers use the money for themselves instead of their children.
Yes, some states will order a man to pay child support for a child that isn't his, but usually that's only in estoppel cases, for example if a man has signed the birth certificate, which is a legally binding document whereby the man has claimed legal responsibility for a child, despite biological paternity or if the man has played the role of father to the child for a particular period of time. Like if the man has been playing daddy for several years, he and the child's mother breaks up and he then decides that he doesn't wanna play daddy anymore.
Men need to be aware of these things before having unprotected sex with women and dealing with single mothers.

Please explain to me the many women who have taken men who've served and returned from their tour of duty, get taken to family court and ordered to pay CS for a child they don't even know by a woman they've never met in their life? How about lesbian couples who get inseminated through invitro via the sperm bank, "mom 1" decides to leave but never signed her name on the birth certificate to claim the child, but then the "mom 2" decides to go and look for the sperm donor to get her half of his earnings, and she's pissed that the sperm bank will not give her his info, when donating sperm is like donating blood, the donors info is anonymous. How about, at any given moment whenever the mood strikes a woman, even if it was a petty disagreement, she can tell the courts that she needs more money because what she's getting isn't enough, thus putting the man in further financial straits and when he can't keep up, he now has to get 1 or 2 more jobs to sustain himself and has little to no time to be with his kid, then get accused of being negligent in his parental duties, however mommy has enough money to go to weekly brunch with her gf's.
If men are singing the same thing. If it's such a concern, stay with your family. People don't realize children need financial support. If you take issue with how your child is being raised, then seek custody.
Some women are using the system for revenge and a lot of women know they are and these court arbitrators are complicit with it...straight facts and horribly detrimental to the children

I went through this but I overcame I rebel and got a charge went to jail but I decided I wasn’t going to let the system get me I did time for a child that I was supporting. It s a long story but I have a pardon a career I’m doing well and I have great relationships with all my children and making 6 figures and climbing and good health and family . You have to be smart and don’t act out of emotion the only thing I hate is I didn’t finish and get my Bs .
Child support needs to be abolished! Because support is not solely monetary and they're not supplying job's with the sentencing! Half the men on child support ain't the biological father 😔! That is super wack 😡!

Child support is necessary, if you don't want to pay it, stop having kids that you don't want to pay for.....My family member cried that he has to spend $600.00 per month in back child support. I don't feel bad for him because she gave him several chances to contribute financially but he choosed to not give her money so the courts forced him to pay up.
That's where a lot of guy mess up I honestly believe women give men a chance to handle his responsibilities if he decide not to help then I feel child support should be put on him.
