The student loan issues is created by the government because they know most Americans don’t understand personal finance and are unwilling to make good decisions. Also, the government and the banks know that most of the college students are first generation college students who have never been taught how the college selection process should work. Young people select out of state colleges when there are great schools in their state, and they attend private colleges over adequate public institutions which creates the mess we have today.
I have yet to see anyone start going after colleges who charge high tuition And many get federal $$ and have donations. That's where you start There are some degrees you can get your degree in 3 years and stop the nonsense classes they force down their throats. And pay attention or see an accountant before you and your parents sign on that dotted line. Yet they expect everyone to pay high taxes to pay off their loans
@MagpieAnnie73, obviously your experience is extremely limited. My sister, a young black girl from the inner city whose father valued higher education, applied to and was accepted at all the Ivy League colleges in the USA. She graduated from Radcliffe College/Harvard University and attended on a full academic scholarship. My parents did not pay one dime for her bachelor’s degree or mine.
@pgppe9488 College loans is a Wall Street racket. Consumer credit is a windfall for banks and college administrator salaries. The more access to loans, increases the tuition rates sought. Same happened in the car loan industry.
The military allows you to go to school free. I have my own business and decided during the pandemic to get into cybersecurity. Having my own business allowed me to make over 100k, but the pandemic slowed it down for a few, so I upskilled. I was offered a six-figure remote contract in cybersecurity I was originally on the path to go to law school and got accepted, but at the time, I was fresh out of the military and became a divorced single mom. My college professor at the time said I was making more than him. He asked me why I wanted to waste time on law school. Keep my business going. Now I got IT certifications for free and got my Masters for paid for through scholarship and employment. I refuse to get into student loan debt. My husband has consistently earned six figures for the last 11 years he didn't even go to college or finish high school. He figured it out faster than me. Trade pays well, too😂.

I graduated from a community college and it was covered during the Covid pandemic. I am not going to finish off at university it’s too expensive. I do well with my associate’s degree.
Thats why i told my son slow down on college when he graduated and youre not sure how to go hard; trade school. Youll get into debt up to your neck like me. Now my son has good money
@@jdwool08 People definitely go into debt in trade school and Community colleges. When I got my Cosmetology License years ago, I only paid $6500. I even used to teach Cosmetology and a lot of students had trouble paying from constantly going to these trade schools, taking student loans out, maxing out their fasfa and loans, and dropping out of trade school or community colleges before completing it. Now trade schools charge at least $20k+ and a lot of students do not finish. Just because they are not personally telling you their business, doesn't mean it isn't happening. My other trade which is a Class B CDL I got for free though. Most transit companies will train you for free to get a CDL. I also have a BSBA and only have $50k in student loan debt. The rate these trade schools are charging nowadays, you come out cheaper getting at least an assoicates degree. That is why I tell students they might as well finish the program because you still have to repay the student loans whether you finish or not.

They can’t repay their loans but they have iPhones, they can dine out in restaurants, they have a new car, and they entertain themselves every weekend.
I have seen this before. It happens when markets are saturated. The market for college graduates is saturated. And yes, education is watered down. A High School diploma used to be good enough to do most jobs that take a diploma today.
I believe my son has that I looked at his grades and I wonder how did he pass how did he graduate from high school with these grades? I asked his mother that she got mad at me. This is not a high school diploma. This is a participant award dressed as a high school diploma, he don’t know enough to be graduating from high school but she got mad at me
The no child left behind legislation made things even worse. You should not graduate if you did not meet the requirements. I am all for tutoring and getting students the help that they need to understand the subject matter. However, the participation trophy bs needs to end, it’s bad for us as a society.
The government is the lending institutions, the banks haven’t done student loans since Obama. The taxpayers are the lending institution unless you got a private loan from a bank.
Everyone must get a trophy regardless of achievement level. That’s only fair. Just wait til you get out into the real world kiddies. You’re gonna be in for a real shock.

I the the education system has shifted. Instead of preparing students for a job they want to do, it has become a way to keep certain people out of certain jobs. Colleges I think would rather have many people on campus rather than limit the amount of students to those who can actually find work in a chosen field. To keep it simple, a college will bring in 1,000 students but only 3 might be able to get a job after they complete their degree. Great for the college, the finance people paid them. Bad for the borrower and the lender, if the person cant find work.
The legal system needs more Judge Brown thinking lawyers and judges. There should be qualifications to be appointed to a judgeship. If they have no experience in the courtroom, they should not be a judge or in prosecutorial offices. It takes experience to gain practicing knowledge of the law. And no, no release from student loan debt. It's like expecting to eat for free after you order a meal in an expensive restaurant. Don't pay. Wash dishes for an eight hour shift and clean the toilets after close.
Washington state has not passed any such law. Instead, Washington Supreme Court ordered on Friday, March 15, that attorneys now have “alternative pathways” in lieu the bar exam to become licensed to practice law in Washington State.
@williewhite169 Every state should at least uphold the bar exam. I don't even care about the law school part. A large majority of social justice warriors who wish to become lawyers, would better help society and be happier, by not becoming lawyers.
Hopefully this “participation trophy” nonsense comes to an end. My son’s hockey team was in a tournament a few years ago and came in 4th place. The coach came up after the loss with medals. The kids asked what they were and he told them they were for participating. The kids told him to take them back. They said that since they hadn’t placed in the top 3, they didn’t want something for “just showing up”!
I'm a high school dropout that's been in the trades for 30+ years. I only have to work 2 days a month to pay all my bills 😊 I get several "awards" each year for all the volunteering I get to do.
I have worked right along side people with a college degree and I have a HS diploma with a trade. The reason is they got a degree in something they decided they didn't like. It happens all the time!
I love judges Judy and Lynn, but maaaaan oh maaaaaan, judge Joe is something else!!! They don't make 'em like him anymore!!! Gotta find the other two segments to this student loan discussion.❤❤❤😂
Brown is referring to the legal and financial effect of a student loan forgiveness, cancellation, or discharge program on the lender. However, in certain situations, federal student loans legally can be forgiven, CANCELED, or discharged. Although a student loan forgiveness, cancellation, or discharge has varying legal implications and obligations, at bottom, the borrower won’t have to pay back some or all of the loan(s).
Education from Kindergarten up needs to be redone. Many young people are not taught what they need to know to be independent and successful, regardless of what that future looks like to the individual.
The problem with loan debt forgiveness is it's illegal both federal and state crimes who thought college students would be so bloody stupid to not know this fact
As someone who was the fat kid in the 90s, getting a participation award for coming second to last in a elem school race was a special kind of insulting. Pops threw that thing in the trash when we got home and made me run laps around the house. We didn't celebrate mediocrity. I had no clue that started off in the 70s smdh
He's exactly spot on. If Sally and Bob enter into a contract for $50,000 payable at 6% over 15 years and Sally pays Bob $18,000 worth of payments and stops, Bob may call a collections agency. The collections agency gets a recovery percentage. Then, Bob charges off the debt and sell the contract at a discount when the collections agency doesn't recover anything. XYZ buys the paper from Bob for 50 cents on the dollar. XYZ hires a collections attorney. The collections attorney collects costs plus 33 1/3% of payments collected. The court collects the filing fee, any levy and execution fees. The constable or sheriff's office gets a fee. The city or town that needs to issue a tax certificate or to file a levy/execution gets a fee. So, the same contract from Sally and Bob morphs into everyone splitting up costs and taking a cut.
This the point Elon was trying to get across to Don Lemon. If you’ve got underskilled people in important roles (like the medical field), more people will die. Everything becomes lower class due to the lack of practice
@williewhite169 0 seconds ago @astronomikalac4748, you and Elon sound like fools. After a person graduates from medical school, before being able to practice medicine, that individual must be tested, undergo and successfully pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination which is a three-step examination for medical licensure in the U.S.

A good mother and father is supposed to be your child’s role model…
@pgppe9488
College loans is a Wall Street racket.
I was offered a six-figure remote contract in cybersecurity
I was originally on the path to go to law school and got accepted, but at the time, I was fresh out of the military and became a divorced single mom.
My youngest son did the same! Computers and further schooling while in the service! Retired after 23 years and now a contractor!
@@marci3667must be nice to be part of the MIC. pays well.
Thank You
He is absolutely right
So glad I am getting a welding certification.
This is what I’m talking about 👏 Trying to get my 16 year old to really consider trade school.
illegals will do your job for less money. then what? most people with money go with the illegal
Welding is a good trade. A welder can make 61k to 89k per year.
Way more than that here in California. 120k is a slow year.
American man wisdom. We've been shitting on it for six decades. It's good that we're coming back to it. Fear the wise old men, they'll lead you to fearing God. After that you'll be wise too and your suffering will stop.
Truer words of wisdom
Love listening to Judge Joe Brown!
FACTS!!
Judge Brown is a marvelous, wise, member of our society! He could do an entire college
class on common sense! He came along when you had to work to achieve what you wanted, nobody gave him anything, he earned it!
Love Judge Brown!❤
He is so so amazing what a fountain of knowledge
Eye opening. Im in law school now and this is defintely true.
Exactly! Everything comes with a catch! Nothing is really gone
Plenty of people in debt from trade school. Most people who default their loans went to community college but didn’t finish
Stop I don’t know anyone in debt from trade school. I’m working on a masters plumbing license with no debt
Colleges also teach numerous subjects that are absolutely useless in relation to the job market. They just huge money launderers for government loans.
@Heisrisin3, what do you do for a living? How much money do you make per year?
Right again. 👍👍👍
Love love love Judge Joe Brown! Matter of fact, I love him so much, I'm gonna buy some of his BBQ sauce he has made! Go buy his bbq sauce! LOL He's extremely intelligent. I've been a fan of his for decades. Watched his show every day when I was younger.
They can’t repay their loans but they have iPhones, they can dine out in restaurants, they have a new car, and they entertain themselves every weekend.
And then people wonder why tuition is going higher! It’s because we have to pay for those who are getting a free education!
So interesting!!!
And now in washingto state there's no board requirement to practice law. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!
You don't have to anywhere if you don't do trials
Everyone must get a trophy regardless of achievement level. That’s only fair. Just wait til you get out into the real world kiddies. You’re gonna be in for a real shock.
Joe is the man.thanks joe.
🤙 explained for my brain..thank u
I’ve only watched half of this because I’m sleep deprived. I could Listen to Judge Joe Brown, endlessly. I’ve listened to five hours of him tonight already I tossed my 35 years ago, And didn’t watch TV my whole life I vaguely remembered Brown, But couldn’t place him, Until it was mentioned that he had a TV show. I don’t remember that, but I do remember him from decades ago.
Besides, being intelligent wise, High integrity, Bold, Etc., This man is Carismatic And captivating Everything he talks about Has impact I’m hoping this helps break through the communist brainwashing on the left, Not just a swing votes, By exposing Kamala Harris With the manufactures that he gives And how he frames The meaning of these facts, It can really penetrate Right through For shock impact. They won’t be able to think of her Stand behind her
Further, They will see just how disgusting and dangerous the Democratic Party is It wasn’t always this bad We are at the end of the last phase communist takeover, Which is concentrated on the left The right has been cleaning out our Party since 2008. We’ve had impact. The neocons are being crushed The Democrat party It’s not worth saving! We need at least two parties. The Democrat party is falling apart, Which is a good thing Good people need to rise up To replace The corrupt criminals
Vote Trump 2024, As if your life depended on it. It does
I the the education system has shifted.
This man has it right! 👍👍👍
Washington State just past a law that lawyers do not have to pass the bar.
The whole system is fraudulent anyway
Washington state has not passed any such law. Instead, Washington Supreme Court ordered on Friday, March 15, that attorneys now have “alternative pathways” in lieu the bar exam to become licensed to practice law in Washington State.
@williewhite169
Every state should at least uphold the bar exam. I don't even care about the law school part. A large majority of social justice warriors who wish to become lawyers, would better help society and be happier, by not becoming lawyers.
You don't have to pass the bar anywhere if you're not in court
Judge voice overs be hilariously good.
The amount of money from student loans can be used for infrastructure, can pull each city out of poverty go and work for a year.
No child left behind ruined the education system in America
I'm a high school dropout that's been in the trades for 30+ years.
I only have to work 2 days a month to pay all my bills 😊
I get several "awards" each year for all the volunteering I get to do.
So hardworking middle-class paid for all of these college students bill
Everyone gets a cookie and one third of the people have to pay for all of them. Its time to be real. Most of these geniuses couldn't pass the GED.
Bottom line don’t , accrue debt you can’t pay off. And as a sidenote, just don’t accrue debt.
Why should the people who didn't go to college pay for the ones who did go. It is not fair.
Make better choices in classes you take in college!
If you have to compete then there can’t be enough to go around.
Judge Joe aint just Blowing! He Knows !
Many years ago in Idaho some idiot wanted to come out with “pass-fail” grades what a dumb idea. NO WAY
Nice to know that as a hard-working business man who dropped out of high school and never went to college. I get to pay for their college education
Yea, but who wants to work hard????? I have three degrees and get paid for what I know and think not what I do.
No you don't
Judge Brown is honest about all this.
As someone who was the fat kid in the 90s, getting a participation award for coming second to last in a elem school race was a special kind of insulting. Pops threw that thing in the trash when we got home and made me run laps around the house. We didn't celebrate mediocrity. I had no clue that started off in the 70s smdh
hello , great share , thank you for sharing.............🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰........................
That little Diddy at the end is fire
This the point Elon was trying to get across to Don Lemon. If you’ve got underskilled people in important roles (like the medical field), more people will die. Everything becomes lower class due to the lack of practice
Further, it is incredulous that you are quoting anything from Elon. He is a South African racist, narcissistic sociopathic apartheid enthusiast.

@astronomikalac4748, you and Elon sound like fools. After a person graduates from medical school, before being able to practice medicine, that individual must be tested, undergo and successfully pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination which is a three-step examination for medical licensure in the U.S.
