FNB DigiPlus Launch

On 21 July 2022 FNB Namibia launched the first fully digital account offering in Namibia - FNB DigiPlus. Attended by various stakeholders and captains of industry, it was an event true to the unique and innovative solution of DigiPlus.
As a product that was in the making for quite some time, we were absolutely delighted to have finally reached the point of unveiling this market-leading solution.
DigiPlus is as easy as *140*321#, using USSD / cellphone banking. It is a digital account with no monthly account fees, that can be opened and managed remotely using a cellphone - available to FNB and non FNB customers alike.
The DigiPlus account, which is completely cardless, only charges you per transaction.
This differs from traditional bank accounts where you need to go into the branch to open and manage an account. The DigiPlus account does not require a bank card to make withdrawals or deposits. FNB’s DigiPlus allows the account holder to receive and send funds from FNB and other banks, make transfers between accounts (including the FNB Savings Pocket), buy Prepaid electricity and airtime, send eWallets, and make cardless cash withdrawals and deposits at any CashPlus agent.
