I went out to get the Samsung Galaxy J7 just for the removable battery and boy is it a good phone for the price you would not expect this much phone but damn, it sure is great to have AMOLED screen, headphone jack, removable battery and all the good stuff in there you wont even get on most flagship phones these days.
Your videos are always a pleasure to watch at 4k60fps ;) Of course I also like to see you testing phones, taking them apart and putting them together (As well as the jokes, headphone jack hints and art classes)!
0:35 "There are 65* screws holding the plastic back into the frame"!! Well! Now we know why there have been so many earthquakes eversince this legend was ressurected!!
I definitely want to see more removable batteries on phones, mainly because that is the most common point of failure and if you keep the phone around for more than a couple years you will definitely wish you could just buy a new battery and put it in. I do like the idea of the water resistance, but I have never needed it. I think both setups have their place and both should be available.
Definitely must have little phone for emergencies. Removable batteries are a no brainer from my perspective and I'm really pissed off that all manufacturers have dropped them from smartphones (V20 being the last). So Zac, I really need you to start including your opinions on the ease of replacement of batteries in all phones, as that will influence what I buy in the future. Oh, and the best vibrators to review are the Swedish Lelo brand... :-)
I remember when I was younger using my 3310 every other month I'd go to my town center go to one of the phone stands and pick up a new housing for the phone whether it was my favourite foot ball team one with flames. I also have a mod that made the light on the key pads to flash different colors great times.
Judging by the previous 3310 I'd be surprised if there wasn't some form of waterproofing built in. Remember having one of them left outside in heavy rain overnight and it being completely unaffected
I love removable batteries for 2 reasons: 1. I can buy a soare battery so when i'm out of power i can switch them out and 2. I find it makes the phone more durable because whenever i drop it, the battery flies out taking energy from the fall with it and making the phone lighter so the screen is less likely to crack. I have thrown my lg g4 on multiple surfaces and have only ever cracked it once by slamming a car door (accidentaly) directly on it.
How about both - water resistant and removable battery. But if I had to chose one - removable battery all the way. With the necessary every day charging cycle, Li-On/Poly is will hold less charge at 1.5 years and almost unusable after 2.5 years, but today's flagships will be easily usable in 3 or more years from now. So it's obvious they are trying to get more money from us quicker.
It is possible to have both water resistance and removable battery. Every phone needs a removable battery, as that greatly extends the life of the unit, and makes replacement batteries cheaper. Even if you do not need to have a charged spare for normal use, being able to replace the battery after a year of use, really improves the battery life. As updated come out that improve battery life, much of those improvements are offset by the loss of capacity. Taking a previous gen phone that has had a year of regular use and swapping the battery, will often give you around 1+ hours of additional screen on time.
Do the (Sony Ericsson W810i) that phone was a legend for me it lasted around 8 years! sat on it, dropped it on concrete, dropped it in the pool and it still worked!

Hi I love your videos and I've learned alot about smartphones thanks to you. I have a Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro it has a glass back and front it does not bend what so ever so would really love to see you try to damage it in any way possible u can get one from China, Hong Kong, India and it was released in February 2017 hope u read this and good luck for the future.!!
Phones can be water resistant and have removable batteries, I had the s5 active and being able to go from 0 to 100 without being tether to a wall was great.
Have you ever thought of doing a durability test on the iPhone 5c? it would be interesting to see how the plastic housing holds up to the scratch test and the bend test.
When you thought you were gonna be the first to say stuff about the different types of vibraters he'll talk over but when you go down to the comments and see there are a shit ton of people who beat me to it
I wish more phones had a removable battery. And a very solid Back panel. Since Most people don't go swimming or showering with their phones (water resistant or not).
*waiting for the video about the all different types of vibrators*

With so many USB power supply packs companies are handing out like candy, I like the water proof trend.

Watching these teardown videos are soooo satisfying!!
1 and a half year later, still waiting for the vibrator teardown and durability videos.
Your humor is just amazing.
I wish that we had a phone like the Samsung Galaxy S5. A removable battery and water resistance.
One of the best phone of 2014... For 499€. Simple screen. Simple design. Removable battery and water resistance for the Price of a iPhone se 2020.
The S5 was water resistant?
@@nelio_4f yes the phone was IP67 on water resistance rating
I am watching this video on it
We now have something like that, wish Jerry would review
It's called the Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro
the Nokia signature tune brought a warm smile to my face
0:35 "There are 65* screws holding the plastic back into the frame"!!
Well! Now we know why there have been so many earthquakes eversince this legend was ressurected!!
6-T5 Screws not 65 screws

The smaller vibrator will still get the job done, huh? LOL
I never thought I would see a feature phone tear down...
My childhood dream fulfilled..
Can you do a durability test of the Galaxy J5 2017? I really want to see if its metal design helps!
I really love this guy’s sense of humor! 🤣
Y’all see that shade against Blackberry

I have a real problem with my vibrators not being durable enough and we all know what a pain in the butt it can be when they break while in use
It's a pain in the butt? Kinky... XD

Say after me: Nockia, not "No Kia". Trust me, I'm Scandinavian.
Pretty much every european person knows to say Nokia. And yes, it is Nockia, and that's coming from an romanian dude.
It's Nokia, not Nockia. Trust me, I'm Finnish.
Juha Leskinen It's pronounced Nokcha, Not Nokia. Trust me, I'm proud murican!
Sorry, it's still pronounced Nokia. Trust me, I'm humble Finnish.
Juha Leskinen they should teach sarcasm in schools.
I've been waiting so long for that vibrator video. 2nd time you've mentioned it big boy
"The smaller vibrator will still get the job done" Ayyyyy
The good ol' vibrator is making a comeback!
1000ft drop test this thing!
?
Do you mean 100000ft drop test?
I would like more water tight phones with easy replaceable batteries - I think the S5 did that already so it's certainly not impossible.
65 screws...
No wonder its so durable
Spoiler alert..
Its a joke
I like the subtle shade on BlackBerry
2:02 that's what she said.
I'm a big fan of removable batteries. That was one of the main reasons I got my LG V20.
Yay vibrators

Nokia has been making similar budget phones in many markets for years. Running the same os.

Have you ever thought of doing a durability test on the iPhone 5c? it would be interesting to see how the plastic housing holds up to the scratch test and the bend test.
It's not really worth doing a video on, iPhone 5c already reached end of life in terms of software updates
Please do more Samsung tests even mid-range phones like A-series or J-Series.
Greetings from Germany 👋

can u find a way to make it support 3g, because here in Singapore they cut off all 2g networks it would make a good phone for emergencies

You ever try switching the camera module out with a better one? Would be cool to see that 2MP upgraded to a 12MP. 😎
I wish more phones were like the sgs5 where it has water resistance and a removable battery. The SGS5 was almost the perfect phone.
