    I agree with your sentiment. I think some of the reviews are outright lies or misrepresentations, and paint an unrealistic picture of how effective these things are. They help very, very minimally if you're, say, outside on a hot day going for a walk. It will help some, but it's not like stepping into an air conditioned space or something.
    Where I have found my Aice3 to be really great is for cooling down inside after a walk, it really cools me off much quicker than I otherwise would - and the heat function, which is pretty fantastic. The other day, it was super cold in the house since we keep the AC at 73 at night, but I had to get up early before the temperature changes for the day, and was cold. Popped the Aice3 on heat and it did a pretty good job of helping me feel more comfortable.

    It's great to see this video! Your content is truly impressive! 😍Regarding the cooling plate settings, you can notice that AICE 3's predecessor originally had a cooling plate that covered the entire neck area, but we decided to remove it during the product iteration. We received feedback from customers that the cooling plate around the neck area wasn't comfortable, especially for those with neck issues, as there are many nerves in that region, and cooling it could be potentially harmful to their health. However, while removing the cooling plate around the neck area, we also enhanced the cooling capability with a dual-layer semiconductor cooling system. The system allows the cooling sensation to be distributed throughout the body as the arteries are located on both sides. RANVOO's goal is to maintain strong cooling performance while prioritizing the user's health and well-being. We hope that wearing AICE 3 becomes a lifestyle choice for our customers!😃😃

    I install floor coverings for a living. Since I turned 35, my body turned on the sweat valve and I get very hot working above 70°. I'm in shape, not overweight in any way, just roast when I'm working. These might help but the dust from removing old floor coverings would kill one of these in a few minutes I'm guessing.

    I've been with torres through the coolify 1 and original 2 with extended battery and I must say they've been an absolute game-changer for my comfort level and hapliness at my job as a walmart pharmacist. I am a guy who has always run hot, but now at 34 years old and being overweight at a stand-up job where i have no control over my environmental temperature, these types of air conditioners have literally made me happier and more productice on a 5 days out of the week basis. Thank you for covering tech like this since it has entered an area of being too expensive to just take a chance on (and honestly did a while ago...)

    • @ndi4926
      @ndi4926 4 месяца назад +2

      I don't have the torras, but I can tell you that, at least with the AICE, if you floor it, it will get cold enough that you stop feeling it. Skin gets cold, blood vessels constrict, and it stops cooling you effectively.
      I found that having it on auto cool does a way better job that priority cooling (I didn't see the AI mentioned, the AICE app has a thing where you can swipe up and select an "AI" mode which sets priorities - cold first, cool, battery first, fan first, etc).
      The best way to use this is have it over your neck and set it to auto cool and never look back. It does an excellent job guessing when you get hot via the BPM sensor and ups and lowers the cooling as you walk from shop to shop or room to room. This may be subjective, but the only time I launch the app is to adjust the fan, it's uncanny.

    Great video, I did purchase the Aice 3 base on this comparison review and something i think you missed is that the back sensor can get hot. Granted i did try it in mid 90 degree weather indoors but having two cold plates and a hot sensor makes its kind of unusable. Ranvoo also claims to be effective up to 105 degree but i think more under 90ish. The sensor is meant to sit on the skin as well to get all the reading and i like the feature that it turns off when you take it off but Im going to return it and try to coolify 3. it does have less feature but hopefully does it intended purpose better.

    I bought both and tried them both mowing the lawn. They definitely don’t keep up for that job. Went to an outdoor concert and it was about 95 with the AICE 3. It was helpful but then when the sun went down I had to store a $300+ machine without a case. The case is nice with the Coolify 3. I also like the plates better on the C3. The large back neck plate is nice.
    I don’t think I’m going to keep either for the price. But if I did, I probably would keep the C3. But anyone with a larger neck will not like the C3. I wear a 17.5 collar size and it’s a little tight. I’m 6’ 2” 215. Definitely not an athlete but not obese. My brother is 6’ 5” 300 and he would be fine with the A3 but he would choke to death in the C3.
    The C3 is much easier to turn on and off because it doesn’t have all that other crap to deal with.
    I would think most people who would buy one of these is a gadget guy like me so you probably have a watch that does the tracking way better than the A3 does. And the speakers are worthless. I wish they would have kept that stuff out and put the money into more plates or stronger battery.
    I’m going to wait for the next generation and go buy a new putter.

    Very helpful video, 👍🏼I have the Coolify 2s but am returning it and purchasing the Aice3 because of one major factor: the Aice has vents on the bottom and back as well as the top which the Coolify only has. This is very important as it will blow down your back and front. I suffer from hyperhydrosis so the larger fit of the Ranvoo would partially eliminate the ambient heat and sweat because there is room for the air to circulate which is not something the Coolify allows.

  • @MoopEPoom0

    I have the coolify and love it! I'm WARM all the time, especially in winter when people turn heat on, especially in vehicles. I used this on the paratransit bus, it was great! I do wish I could extend the airflow more towards my face, as that's the part of me that gets painfully warm when the heat is turned on in places. But the Coolify did help, my face was still warm, but not to the extent where I couldn't recover when I got into a cooler environment, as would have been the case without the coolify.

    I am also keen to invest in either some phase change cooling garments, most likely a vest, although I have recently discovered the vests that pump ice water around your core, though I still have a bit more to learn about those two before making a decision yet.
