Sooooooo psyched to hear this again. My introduction to music in Nigeria was Earl Klugh- I was just a 10-yr old girl and I really thank my ultra intelligent father for it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hmmm!!! bro for me while growing up in Lagos, when you hear this tune on the radio in the morning, you know you are late for school. Because it is a signature tune for a particular presenter just after the 7am news. What a great tune, takes me back memory lane.
This song reminds me of 2009 when I went to Sudan for the first time, I was playing it on repeat on my phone because I felt like it was making me see my future clearly because it’s so calm and peaceful
Since my Music Teacher played this video for me during my first year in high school it really changed my perspective about the guitar. It’s not all all about speed and playing so many notes. Sometimes you can just be calm, sensitive and sensual
I see this is the best interpretation conducted by Ron Otis to this composition. There are several sessions were also nice ..but this is the best and very sweet to be enjoyed ... Great for Ron Otis.
I just love playing his music at Dinner clubs, while people enjoy their meals. They look at me like I'm a musical genius. But I am just repeating his inventions.
Hello Earl, this music is for me a great music-song! I listen this song every day after my work and I play this with my guitare! Thanks so much for your feeling man! You have a very good feeling! Yeah!!! Daphne Tantely From Madagascar and living in Germany
I've listening to this song from Thobela FM at my young age,it was creating a spirit of peace in my heart and focus in everything that I was doing.....more especially when I was studying.Best music of those days,of nowadays and forever.
i love the understated things that are still like, *POW*, when you hear them. you just have to laugh at the genius emotional tone created and played with. but you have to listen carefully to hear some of them. like bass lines here and there or those little subdued notes and harmonics that Klugh slips softly in during transitions. one thing i always wonder about as a less talented musician: how do they stay interested in the songs they practice so much to get so perfected...? i get so sick of my stuff when i practice over and over again that i have to quit practicing. i have to not play a week before any show i do because i like what i play a lot more if i haven't heard it or played it in a while. if i practice right before a show, i play like garbage because the lack of care is heard and i just would rather be doing something else. how do pros handle that aspect?
Earl Klugh gave us a masterpiece!
This master piece is timeless I have listened to it through the years
