Harlow being on the track isn't about need. It is about adding fun to the track just as it was with Latto. Jungkook by nature is a fun person who is part of a group that has released scores of fun tracks along with their serious material with him serving as main vocalist in the midst of three top tier rappers. I fully anticipate any further Western style Pop by Jungkook also will include rap segments attune to the track as opposed to being intended as rap virtuosos. Snoop Dog, Nikki Minaj and Meghan the Stallion all did features with BTS without needing to meet their soloist bona fides. I think beating up Jack Harlow for enjoying himself in such a format is being overly serious about what he offers to a light fun-oriented tune.
Jungkook is challenging himself by exploring different genres and vocal styles he went off on the adlibs like the whispering , highnotes , etc That's his goal in his solo journey He has mini album coming too Jungkook raps well too if you listen to some old bts tracks
I love JK’s vocals here, fun, flirty, low/high, he has total control - just talented and definitely sexy. I agree the Harlow rap wasn’t needed at all - I didn’t care for it but there is an alternate version without the rap and it even more so shows us JK’s vocal talent. 😊
Actually Jungkook used to rap a lot in earlier BTS songs, but over the years he started to focus more on singing but he will occasionally rap when they perform their older songs. There is actually an alternate version of 3D that's Jungkook only and I know a lot of people are preferring that version over this one. Here are some more JK songs Euphoria, My Time, Begin, Still With You, My You, Dreamers from FIFA World Cup, Stay Alive, Left and Right with Charlie Puth.
I liked the alternate version of 3D more where only Jungkook sings. His part is everything in this song, the voice and vibe both blended with each other perfectly. JK is the essence!
