The drum wav files sound real good. The only drawback would be: They are set to a specific beats per minute.(bpm). However the sequencer technique can be used with any type of sample.
@@Fezzler61 I sync the 2480 with the MC-50 using midi cables. (2480 as the Master, mc-50, the slave) using that same configuration, I can also sync to other devices like the 707 or the Juno-G.

I usually use a tempo track to lay down real drums or program patterns on my Roland MC 50.
@@BigCrumb52 Yea, I should use my drum machines more. To get a drum machine to align with a recorder like yours, do they both need a word clock?

I would keep an eye on eBay. I’ve seen a couple come up in listings there.
