Thank you Steve , you help us tremendously, ignore all the negative comments, trust me, these ARE miserable people without hearts and souls. God Bless You!!!!
Thank you for your honesty. I think it was very brave if you to share such personal info. I have struggled with depression since I was 16 and I understand the "getting out if bed" syndrome. I started quilting during the pandemic learning by watching RUclips. You have inspired me to start working with resin. Your videos are very informative and Im looking forward to starting some resin projects. Keep up the great videos
I found you in 2019 when I was terrified but determined to learn to use resin. Since then, I have followed your recommendations for tools, resin, molds and techniques and I'm so grateful! Thank you for years of wonderful videos, and sharing your successes and 'not-so-successes'. You've helped my crafting time be a much more enjoyable experience. ❤
Thank you for sharing!!! My husband was asking when my next British guy was doing a video. I told him a new one was posted and he said let’s hear it. 😊 I have asked for several of the items I don’t already have for Christmas (New Year’s, Valentine Day, Mother’s Day, and Birthday 😁) Love all you share and appreciate the next video 😊
Great recommendations. I've got a leveling table on my wishlist since nothing in my house is level, and I spend far too long trying to appease the spirit level with supporting lollipop sticks.
A summer time tip for pressed flowers. Graveyards have their grass cut weekly and remove huge amounts of perfectly good fresh flowers from the graves when they do. Find out which days they mow your nearest graveyard and grab loads of beautiful flowers that are going to be thrown away.
Thank you for giving us this list. I’m fairly new to epoxy resin so any helpful tips like these are very appreciated. I can now add a lot of items to my Christmas wish list 😂 Hubby will be so happy to hear that 😜
Steve I’m hopeless with the deburing tool, I’ve tried and I’ve tried, I’ve watched your video and others but it just gets away on me, I now use old scissors. Thanks heaps for this, great video. 🧡
@@SteveMcDonaldCrafting Thanks for that I’m probably doing it to heavy come to think of it. I’ve got a bit of stuff there I’m fixing up I’ll give the softly, softly ago.
Oh Thank you Steve for doing this! Just starting out doing resin. It helps us get through the confusion as to what is recommended as the easiest tools so not to feel intimidated or overwhelmed when starting out. Again , Thank you so much. ❤
Thanks to you, I found jdiction, I love all their products, I have fewer fails now. I've even used the chrome markers to repair the plastic "chrome" on my car that pealed off.
Hi Steve, I tried some uv resin from JD called high gloss and it’s so darn thick I can barely get it out of the bottle, lol 😂 Have you tried it and do you know why it’s like that? Thanks 😊
Dr resin went yellow that’s a shame it was such a good resin as far as clarity I had old pieces and saw a yellow tint! I think I found my new resin I ❤ love it!
Thank you again Steve for a very informative video. It is so helpful. I bought the air decompressor after seeing your video on it. so so happy with it!!! Question..do the UV resins smell a lot? I would like to try them but if they smell strongly...I won't as I have sinus issues.
They only have a slight smell when curing them under the light. If you don't have your face near them while curing, you won't smell anything. I only use jdiction brand.
I wear a respirator mask with UV resin too as I found a less filtering mask wasn't working enough and the UV resin was giving me headaches, even though I kept it away from my face! ;)
I've never got a headache from it. I think everyone is different. Some people are very sensitive to certain chemicals. The way my set up is, my curing station is about 8 feet from my (pouring) workstation. I turn on the light, then walk away. I recommend not looking directly into the light because it will damage your eyes. If you are sitting close to your curing station, you should be wearing a mask and eye protection. Everyone should take the safety precautions to stay healthy and safe. 😃
A wonder viedo thank you , I went to the use link for the Crome markers and it only brings up the uk amazon link not the USA link , yes I agree its so hard to find good crome/metallic pens or markers
I hope you can help me. I poured several items from a batch of resin. Everything came out fine ( hardened perfectly). Except the cover to the dragon book I poured. The back cover was perfect. Two days later the front cover is still bendy. Any ideas why????
Can Resin Crete be sealed To be waterproof for outdoor use? Has anyone here tried pouring a layer of epoxy resin on top of a Resin Crete project. I can't be the first to think of doing that. I'm just not that smart. Steve you are this first person I have heard mention the specific hardness of the resin on the D scale. Now I will be looking at any resin I am considering for the hardness spec.. Which brings me to another question. Silicone also has a hardness rating. The most common values I see are 20, 30, & 40. Would the D20 silicone make a more pliable mold material when trying to mold a 3D object? Any input is welcome Thanks again, Steve.
Thanks!
Thank you so much ❤️
Thankyou. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Evening Steve! Great to see another video out so soon
Thank you. ❤

I always enjoy seeing your face pop up on the screen when your videos start. Thank you for all these tips!!
I have one of them and they are game changer!
Yea! So glad you mentioned that JDiction is coming out with a 3-pack of the UV resin types! I’m a newbie, so still learning and experimenting.
❤
❤
😊 Glad you gave this insightful review. It has helped me with epoxy choices and I love those markers. Thanks so much!

Saving this video. Thank you, Steve!!!
Excellent review
great list.
I need to get those chrome markers. I've seen them used for edging that looks just beautiful!
Thanks❤
Thank you!
Great recommendations. I've got a leveling table on my wishlist since nothing in my house is level, and I spend far too long trying to appease the spirit level with supporting lollipop sticks.
Lol, I know what that was like. You just get those sticks in the right place, then knock it and they pop out
Same here lol
Love my leveling table, use the same one
Just ordered one of blackfriday deals. So excited to get it
Thanks Steve!!

🎉Great video Steve! Thanks so much!😊

Very useful Steve. Thank you! My favourite is my J Diction levelling board and my deburring tool! 👍☺️
Thank you Steve! I'm a beginner and these tips really help!❤
So I think you can take old eyeshadow & blush pressed powders turn them back into a fine powder & possibly use them as mikra powder coats .
Thank you Steve so useful will definitely take them on board 🎉
Thanks for all these!
Hi, how do you keep your resin warm in order to cure in winter? Do you have a heating mat or do you use something else?
TYSM for sharing Steve! I def want to get that resin vac chamber. So much easier to use and store than a regular pressure pot/vac chamber.
I really want the flower dryer. But I don’t have flowers growing in my yard, just weeds.
If the weeds have flowers they're still pretty...
Actually, weeds can have very interesting flowers! Often, those are the plants that give us miniature blossoms and leaves to use in small projects!
Thanks Steve; saved video cause I need Santa to send me a lot of those things 😅
Thanks for this great list!!

Soft touch and very thin slices is the key. But scissors are good too 😂❤
@@SteveMcDonaldCrafting Thanks for that I’m probably doing it to heavy come to think of it. I’ve got a bit of stuff there I’m fixing up I’ll give the softly, softly ago.
These are all on my list of things to get, the leveling table would be awesome. My diy version somehow always fails to do its job.

Steve is a good one to listen to about UV resin but sandraarts is the must for using it 99%

I really recommend the JDiction UV resins - but wear a good mask

I wish they had a mechanical self leveling table 😂

Hi 👋 I'm Mandi and I'm a shopaholic 🙋♀️🤦♀️🤷♀️
I have a bag of resin Crete so it doesn’t crumble!? I’m scared it will be like chalk I have never opened it haha
LOL! No, it doesn't crumble! Just follow the directions carefully!
Thank you 😊
