weird wedding ... Doug's colleagues there and even Carrie's boss! I don't know anybody who invited his boss to his own wedding, and this is just some old friend of Carrie.

That's not an ideal interpretation of the scene.
Carry's choice of words and phrases implies that the photo is badly taken; does not represent the actual thing. She says, ''This is not what i know to be true''.
So, she is seemingly afraid of possible embarrasment from this photo because, as she says to Doug, ''It doesn't do you justice'', which implies people will THINK something about you that is not true, and will subsequently affect her social life.
Now, even if it were true, then objectively speaking, there would be no reason to be embarrased because Carry is NOT an unsatisfied wife. This is evident from an episode when Carry has said that she and Doug have a great s... life.
Perception and stereotypes can change how humans act. Sometimes this is good and sometimes it is not.
doug is a solid 6.. I am great at guessing these things ..
