I have cameras all around the outside of my home in clear view as a deterrent against opportunist thieves. But also hidden cameras at face view to catch the more clued-up ones, we've never been burgled, touch wood. But we have helped neighbors have their break-ins solved.

3yrs each for the men who slaughtered that many sheep? Pathetic UK sentences.

We call those Flocker cameras here in America. There is no more getting with crimes if you are in a vehicle. No more.

“Random stops” in order to search, based only on intuition, with no judicial review? Scanners tracking everyone’s movements? Ready police access to cell phone records and tracking? Doesn’t sound either free nor a fun place to live. Kind of puts the Constitution in perspective.
With all that, if this video is any indication Britain isn’t any safer or more civil as a result.

Actually the UK police must obtain a warrant to search or track your phone or your house. Neither the US or the UK police are required to have any judicial review prior to searching your car or person: probable cause is the criterion each must meet. Personally, I’d rather have my movement tracked as in the UK, than have every text, email, social media activity, or any other internet activity stored as in the US. I’m an American who has lived mostly in the US but have also lived in both London and N Yorks. In terms of day to day life, the biggest difference is the UK is safer. BTW, speaking of the Constitution, you do know that the UK Constitution dates to 1215 which kind of puts it into perspective.

All good except for the narrator. I have "haired thess red-ekulous gairl" before. She talks about "cretical N juries" (Critical injuries") and "ex-paired wet-nurses" (Expert witnesses) I cannay lessen any mare. Et is red eculous. There might be some excuse for having such a weird narrator if the story was about Scotland or if the programme was only shown on Scottish (Highlands and Islands) Television.

You could always hit the subtitles button and you get the words printed on the screen, and I find this very useful indeed.
