How does a grown man, who murders an innocent victim FOR FUN get 29 years? I just don't understand anything about our society anymore...
Me, either! I was SHOCKED by his light sentence. He needed the death penalty.
Sitting in prison forever is way worse than the death penalty.

Those were the sentencin guidelines. The judge was excellent. He did a superb job. Bowman will be a wreck when he gets out. I wish it were longer, too. But 30 years is no little finger wag.

The second story. I want to say to naive grown children in college, please listen to your parents. They are coming from the deepest love of all. Mothers can sense when danger is around one of their children. It is a gut feeling. This monster could have killed Caitlyn's mother had he not found a substitute for her in Jackie. But too many times family or friends are targets. You put everyone around you at risk when you stay with an abuser or stalker.
29 years is ridiculous. He never even admitted to the crime.

I could've went my whole life without hearing that gross baby talk
Me too!! 🤮🤮🤮

Thankfully, I slept through it.
Omg same! WTH?
The baby talk wasn't that irritating to me after watching Dinh cry like a baby before and after the verdict.
Those good samaritans really went above and beyond.
He was also committing a little bit of road rage himself he said he chased them because he went through the red light not because he thought the man was shot it wasn't until they got back they put two and two together and thought that he might be shot
@@diehardeaglesfansince1994 I thought that too at first, but then they said they heard the shots after. I wasn't sure what to think, so I just assumed 48 hours did the timeline weird

Rumor has it that he’s still talking like that to his new snuggles in prison.
BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!😂😅😂
Imagine his life now. Every nite when they bam the doors. "Hey bunkie, talk to me like you used to do with yo' wife. You're still Bunny, but I'm Mr. Snuggles"
His mother do not understand that her son needs to be behind bars for the safety of the public.. Kind of strange. "Put *me* in prison instead of my son."
I thought his Mums offer was odd.. also their solicited crying and getting chocked up???… he was a bad an actor as Bunny!!!!!????
@@carlalloyd8892 she offered because she knew that offer would of not been accepted. It was all a scene to make the judge feel sorry for her
I didn’t think what the mom said was appropriate. You say that when something bad and undeserved has happened to your child ; not when your child is being made to take responsibility for his actions . She spoilt him rotten and now he has to face the real world
He's clearly never had to be responsible for himself nor his actions. The mother and wife are both enablers.
Mother is the reason for the psychopath son
The fact that Jennifer disappeared and never showed up for the trial says it all. She should have been charged along with Dinh.
She definitely aided him and should have been charged.
Absolutely. She is complicit and should be held accountable. Entitlement at the worst level.
No doubt in complicity, not out of the question that she was actually behind the whole plot.
I think hecontrolled her but she still shouldve faced the law
The cop defense of "I feared for my life" does not always work for civilians. I agree about the gal, I'm sure she knew what was up with the guy. It said they were soul mates, she probably found another murderer to shack up with.
This kid was a spoil brat all his life
Dad worked for Boeing & mom pushed him with education including college too young without social skills!
@@bonniejosavland3227she was also a “boy mom” making everything ok for her lil baby with his baby talk.

Exactly, even at sentencing the mother wanted to serve his sentence. He’s never been held accountable by his parents, hence no boundaries and massive entitlement
Doesn’t matter, spoiled or not, no one deserves to die like that or any other way
The mother weeping and offering to receive the punishment herself is precisely the core of the problem.
Raising an entitled kid with no sense of personal responsibility.
Exactly!!!
I feel like her LOVE for him as her only child is unconditional and sad because although he's and EVIL MONSTER and his mother knew he committed an EVIL act and would definitely take a life again if he had the opportunity & get away with it , I don't think being privileged has anything to do with his character I think because he was so GIFTED he thought he could out smart the authorities, and The LOVE she had for her only child out weighs anything all the EVIL he is which makes this story SAD & CHILLING
I just had a knife pulled on me in a road rage attack 3 weeks ago. It was terrifying and absolutely shocking to say the least. I cannot imagine just driving, having a destination in mind, and never reaching it bc some demon wanted to experience the feeling of taking a life. My heart goes out to all parties involved… specifically Yancy’s life circle ♥️
So glad you’re okay. Scary times.
Knives aren't a friggin joke. We're used to gun everything but damn the damage a knife can do. Glad you're safe.
You reminded me that a homelessness guy reclining on the sidewalk outside a church pulled a small folding knife on me & my little dachshund. Annie was running around the dark parking lot at the church as we have done many times. I was putting food in the food pantry at the time. When I went up to get her there was an awful man cursing at us- crazy &/or high of course. This was in Shoreline, north of Seattle near the quiet neighborhood where I grew up. When I ignored him & went back to my car, the battery was dead! My phone has been stolen days prior so then I cried. I waved someone down on the road and they called 911. FOUR law-enforcement vehicles responded. One officer jumped my car, and one told me they were going to arrest the bad guy as soon as I left. They had dealt with him before and were in full agreement he is crazy! I will not stop being a Good Samaritan! The Lord has given me angels & when my time comes I am CONFIDENT I will go to Him to join friends & family including my son. Michal Ann, 72 years old 🕊️🙏🙌🏼

This guy gaselight even his family to believe that they are responsible for his evil act 😢
Who do you think taught him that bs
I just want to chime in and say that in some cultures the parents look at their children as extensions of themselves and tend to blame themselves for their children’s mistakes. It’s not a good or bad thing, it’s just different perspectives & culture. In Ancient Greece at some point it was even the opposite; if your parents messed up, you - as their child - were responsible if it was discovered after their death.
@@georgemonde8237 I don't think his parents raised their only begotten child who is especially gifted from a very young age to become evil. The parents provided their child prodigy the ability to use his 'creative' mind for his own free will. The baby talk says to me that he didn't have a 'normal' childhood with age appropriate friendships.

I work with someone who does that baby talk, especially working the front desk in a professional building. But if you agitate this person, you should see the rage come to the surface and swearing of every word under the sun, then throws in tears for sympathy. Baby talk is a cover for something much deeper, IMO.
That's scary
I agree, I think it’s a sign of something else. I’ve never met a well adjusted, emotionally regulated human that does baby talk. I wonder why people do it. Maybe it’s a control thing, trying to control others emotions, keep things light and sweet, which could be why your coworker had such a dark switch flip when things didn’t go her way. I’m gunna go do a bunch of useless research on it now.

Kaitlin is so lucky that she actually found police officers and campus security that actually cared and did not ignore her safety concerns, there have been cases where the person in danger hasn’t been that lucky, like the case of Lauren McClusky from Utah University.
My son was shot and killed on the 202 freeway just going home from work. Very much like Yancy. Like Yancy, Keith was every example of 'doing the right thing'. That was January 28th. We have heard nothing. We still have a killer on our Mesa, Arizona streets. Who is safe? Coming home from work, grocery shopping, in your car, in your home. WE ARE SAFE. Keith and his wife are retired Airforce. Do we care? We are losing our protectors on our own home lands. We cringe when a helicopter goes down overseas with our military. What about our veterans being killed in the war on our streets. - a mother looking for answers.

How satisfying it is to see the conviction of Dim Bowman. What a POS. How dissapointing that snuggles escaped justice.
How can you be a 'top' defense lawyer if every one you represent goes to jail?

A good outcome is different, for different cases- for some, just getting the death penalty off the table is a win, bc it’s such a strong case against them.

Dinh Bowman is scarier than most serial killers, as his actions were even more random and absolutely impossible to predict and protect yourself from.

ROFL!!!
Bunny and Snuggles are weird and creepy...😂😂😂 The baby talk creeped me out..Now I can't unhear it😅😅😅
Wow the baby talk really got him a light sentence 🤯
The killer is supposed to be a genius, yet he chose to drive around with the top down & still shoot through the passenger window.
Those are levels of psychopathy, genius & finacial security most of us will never be able to comprehend.
Pos Jennifer should be charged too
Dinh might be a genius but his brain and mind lack far more important circuitry related to basic humanity, morality, empathy, respect for life, remorse. I feel so sad for Yantse and his family and friends, and also for Dinh's parents. RIP Yantse.
He’s no genius
There's a fine line between genius and crazy. Someone said that, not sure who.
You literally can look it up, on the same device you wrote this comment on, and look smart! Rather than… We’re no longer in 1902. Your phone is a computer! 😂😂
Fine Line Between
Sanity & In-Sanity ! 🖊
@@FamLawJ.D.isn’t it amazing though, I truly believe that people forget the power of the devices they’re using, with that said unfortunately some people believe anything they read on the internet, we need some balance in this world, unfortunately the internet doesn’t provide that balance or knowledge either for that matter.
By the way that a quote from Oscar Levant, your welcome lazy people. “A fine line between genius and insanity.”
@AidaShawness74 I know that, I was just lazy! 🙄
Such a huge cry, with no tears
I've taught my daughter the same thing as Kaitlin's mother "People do not change. You cannot change people." I drill it into her head. When you see the red flags remove yourself...whether it be a boyfriend, a platonic friend male or female, a cousin, a coworker, a neighbor or whomever.
Sadly Dinh Bowman's mother died 4 years after her awful son's trial and conviction.
I cried for her during the trial footage, she was so terribly sad
Heartbreak.
Who cares. Of she was a better person she would have done a better job raising her kid
@@mattmatt6572Let’s not forget who pulled the trigger… It certainly was not his Mother!!
@@smalltowngirlbigcityheart3724I didn't say that she did, did i?
Not as smart as he thought. That’ll learn ya! 😂😂😂
...durn ya!!!😂😅
That “baby talk” Was the WORSE I’ve ever heard!!!
How on earth could ANYONE ever be turned on from THAT!!?
🤦♀️🤮🤦♀️🤮🤦♀️💩
Bowman is such a manipulator, there are no tears when he’s sobbing in court. The fact the wife allowed him to continue his behavior and played along with it, vile…
Finally you have a female who listened to what, "moma taught her, seeing the red flags for what they were and listening to her gut feelings"
( Her job manager, "Ohhhh… I can't keep him out!
Katlyn… "Then I can't work here!!!" )
Finally you have an individual in law enforcement ( Capt. Polk ) who took actions early on, for the behaviors Bryant was quickly displaying "stalking!!!!"
So sad tho that he couldn't save Jackie.
Clearly, the young woman in the 2nd story is intelligent, & that cop is a good man, & her mom is right that many people do not change their behavior, but as an addict who has been sober for 16 years, I'd like to say that people CAN change, but not overnight, not in a month, not without really hard work & effort. And sadly, sometimes they even slide back. That one boss she had, unwilling to protect his own staff, is trash.
I thought they said "you can't change people" which is true. People can change for sure. Good job on yourself, I hope you keep going the way you want. Not to defend her "boss" but his new employee on her first day has her ex already in for at least the second time. He most likely hadn't any idea the whole story & he just didn't want the new girl ex-boyfriend thing going on already.
Clara is now 25 wow. Long time to be without your mum but luckily she has her Aunties😢. 1:32:10 Larry Rest in Peace with your Carmen🕊🕊
I feel bad for Dinh’s mother. Obviously she raised her son too sheltered. He was a conceited and manipulative man who thought he can get away with everything. I hope Yancy is at peace.
I went to the bar that Jennifer went to a couple weeks before this happened. I’ve also regrettably gotten in the car with strangers. This could’ve happened to anyone.
Also, Jennifer has a little sister that didn’t get mentioned. We’re from the same town and I think of her from time to time and hope she’s doing okay. ❤
Wow, that wife is a piece of work. Love the way detectives interrogate and aren't intimidated by the degrees these killers hold.
