      Thank you! I'm glad you noticed the different drums. I ended up finding a new Genesis soundfont with much more drum variety in comparison to the one that I've formerly used, and the one you currently use. And drums aren't the only thing that it has more of! More guitar samples, more bass samples, more samples for all of the instruments! And, a lot less of those "unused" samples that just play the generic piano sound, too. Check out the description if you want to check it out for yourself!

    Hey this might sound like a stupid question, but is there copyright on this video? Because the Innervision one is something I might want to sample for my personal band. I understand if I can not do that though, it's you work after all, and it's good work. Just, the Innervision one is unreal and would fit our sound so well

    For your next Genesis-style album, you should learn Furnace tracker and make it properly. :)

    • @drake2quared
      @drake2quared  Год назад +1

      For my next next Genesis-style album, actually. By the time you made this comment, I've already made another album. I'd love to give it a shot! Would you want to recommend an album for me to do this with?

    • @azazelleblack
      @azazelleblack Год назад +1

      @@drake2quared Making music in a tracker program is extremely time-intensive, even when you're good at it. I haven't touched anything of that nature since some flirtations with ScreamTracker on DOS, and I'm sure things have improved since then (particularly in the UI department), but it's still going to be pretty involved given the way tracker music works.
      With that in mind, I would probably suggest something with relatively short and simple songs, maybe like Green Day's Dookie or The Ramones' debut album. (I'm not a big punk fan, it's just that punk music is usually short and simple.) You also could try some stuff off Black Sabbath's earlier albums, or some of the more popular Judas Priest stuff, particularly from the early 80s. Breakin' the Law could sound real good on the YM2612, and it's relatively short and simple. Good luck learning Furnace!

    • @drake2quared
      @drake2quared  Год назад +2

      @@azazelleblack Thank you. I think I'll stick with Judas Priest for now. That's likely to be the first thing I get done when I return.
