Had a old neighbor who drove one, then after he couldn't drive anymore his kid would drive him around our neighborhood top down waving. A shame he passed away, ever once in a while his son and grandson drive by and roar. They drive modern Caddies modded with twin turbos. Yup they sound differnt than singles.
No, I don't want to ride in the back, I want to drive! I have a Chevelle, a Camaro and several old pickups but, I've wanted a Duesenberg since the first time I saw one back in the 70s. I'll have one shortly after I hit the lottery. Until then, I'll have to settle for model kits and trips to the ACD Museum.
Dude, it's the last one, it's beautiful, it's got a v12 or a straight 8, and it's one of the best examples of automobiles in the history of motoring. I'd spend 2 million in a heartbeat for that
@@Octopat And will they drive it every weekend? Unlikely. Things like this belong in museums. Auctions like this confirm that the wealthy don’t appreciate their wealth or deserve the responsibility that it brings! 😒
@@citizenfour9622 it runs, it's won concourse competitions at pebble Beach, and I have seen several beautiful examples of other duesenburgs before, all of which were driven to the shows and events. I have even been a passenger in a 8-litre bentley before. These cars still drive, very carefully yes, but are still well loved and driven. Trust me, take some time and look into these things yourself before doing this
That car is so beautiful. Id love to drive one of these.
