Hi, unfortunately, it is not possible sell all crypto assets directly from Ledger Live. Since this service is provided by our partner Coinify, we have no control over the supported assets. You can either swap your assets for BTC and sell your BTC from Ledger Live or you can send your assets to an exchange and sell it from there.

It will not let me choose a asset. It is stuck on bitcoin and there are no other options.
coinyfy has a limit of .8 Bitcoin maximum limit when selling. Are there other options that does not have these kind of limits when selling bitcoins?

Hey - right now Ledger also supporting selling Bitcoin, so yes you'd either have to swap it to BTC first, or send it to an exchange to sell!
Can't find in playlist how to add "25th word"
I did a test to see if I could convert my BTC to dollars on Ledger Nano x and send to my checking account. However, Coinify posted a message indicating that I can't connect to my bank account because my residence is in North Carolina. When will this be corrected? Or, is there another way to send from Ledger to my checking account? If I need to send my BTC to an exchange in order to get access to my money, there's not much point in taking it off the exchange!
Hey there, unfortunately there is no way for now to send from your Ledger to a bank account! Your only option would be to sell on an exchange linked to your bank account in which you could withdraw to it! We hope this better clarifies!
you should use ledger because you would own your crypto and it will be safe. when you transfer crypto to an exchange you technically dont own the crypto anymore: there's a risk of losing your crypto or not having access to it. ledger is the way to go.
@@Ledger The ledger is hardly secure if you need to send it back to an exchange to withdraw your own money. Kind of defeats the purpose of being a security.
If you haven’t paid taxes (since it isn’t illegal not to with ledger) how do you pay taxes once you put the money into your bank account?
I'd suggest you find a way around paying taxes on investment money you were ALREADY taxed on PRIOR to investing in the first place.

Hey, to clarify, till now there is no way to withdraw your cryptos directly to your bank account, you will be able to depending on some regions, through coinify. You are always free to withdraw to the exchange of your choice which could be linked to your bank account!
Also, if you wish to spend crypto for real life purchases, we recommend you to check Bitrefill in the "Discover" tab section, pretty interesting options you could purchase using your crypto!
@@Ledger once you guys add sell orders and converting stable coins to fiat, you guys will change the game. you're almost there though. Can't trust exchanges because once you send your money there, you dont own it, they do.

Hey, yes can check our swap tab if changelly or FTX have the swap pair you are look for.
Also, Paraswap from the "discover" tab section might interest you, its a decentralized swap for ERC20 tokens and ETH

Coinfy does not support Florida so you cannot sell bitcoin through them
One drawback ATM is that there's many assets that can't be swapped to Bitcoin directly in Ledger to sell, which is very unfortunate.
So unless you're holding BTC or ETH on Ledger, you can't sell.

I followed your video step by step. but conify is asking me send the my BTC to an address. But you don't show that in the tutorial. Why do you think that is occuring?
Hey Emanuele - the interface might have changed since we released the video. It's normal for Coinify to ask you on which address the funds will be sent to, however Coinify should not ask you to send funds. Could you please clarify what is happening exactly?

Hi, Your funds will be delivered straight to your bank account. It may take some time for the transaction to process and confirm. Check the History tab to track the status of your order. Currently, the Sell feature can only be used for BTC. You can either swap your crypto for BTC and sell your BTC from Ledger Live or you can send your crypto to an exchange and sell it there.

Hi, Sell and swap services in Ledger Live are not operated by Ledger. These are offered by Wyre and Changelly who are our partners and they can limit the transaction amount. However, you can send your assets to any other exchange and sell or swap your assets from there.

So frustrating and disappointed with Ledger... there are plenty of crypto to buy through Ledger but only 1 off-ramp to sell BTC (Coinify) and for some reason it doesn't work in my geographical location. This video is 2 years old. When is this going to change or be updated with other ways to cash out? Also, why are Coinify minimums to sell so high?????

it would be cheaper to work with an exchange because they may not charge a % for a transaction.
Your going to pay a fee to transfer it to an exchange then pay another fee to sell so I assume this method is cheaper good luck.

Hi - Bitcoin is currently the only coin you can natively sell with Ledger. For all other coins, you'll have to first send the coin to an exchange before selling.
It's annoying you have a weird minimum requirements for selling Bitcoin. Like 0.0025 minimum needs to be sold or MORE and if I have less I CAN'T SELL IT!
There's still no more options other than bitcoin.

A Ledger works a bit differently. The Ledger only holds your Private keys and your seed phrase. Your public and private keys are derived from the seed phrase. Your crypto is stored on the blockchain. You can learn more about it here www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/what-is-a-recovery-phrase
How do you get it in your bank account
He doesn't clarify this point at all, nobody does. When he discusses 'set up a coinify account', he could have walked us through that step and shown us how to add a bank account so that it would make it clear that 'selling' means transfering to your account. So, in ledger live, click 'buy sell', then 'sell' and choose the amount of crypto that you would like to transfer into fiat currency (real money). The next step requires that you create a 'coinify' account and 'add your bank account' so that the exchange process has a place to send the fiat currency.
When you want to sell your crypto via Ledger Live, you'll need to open a account with Coinify which operates this services. Then you'll like your bank account to this account. And finally when you sell your assets, Your funds will be delivered straight to your bank account. It may take some time for the transaction to process and confirm. Check the History tab to track the status of your order.

You can create an account with any crypto exchange, and send the ADA coin to the exchange wallet. then request the exchange to withdraw the ADA coins to your bank account.
Only downside is that you will have to pay a transaction fee.
