That had me confused for a bit, so I just wanted to share in case anyone else was confused also.

The s1, K1, psso is now done differently, and has almost the same effect, but is easier to read in written instructions. It's now done: ssk. You slip both stitches as if to knit, and then knit the two together, but with your RH needle inserted into the back of the stitch. It's a little harder to do, but easier to read, whereas the way she does it is harder to read, but easier to do. ;)
I think THIS IS RIGHT. The holes are symmetrical, and that means there would have to be another yo in that row. As it stands now with her verbal instructions, there is only one.

Your video is fabulous, but people wouldn't be complaining of it being fast if they could follow along with a written out pattern. @57kjohn That is what my instructor called the way of "contenental knitting" I started out that way for some reason and when she had me switch to holding the yarn in my right hand I kept getting it too tight. My only suggestion would be practice practice practice

You should probably start with something simpler than this, if you're just starting out. After you get the hang of the basic stitches, this will be easy for you. (It seems very slow to me.)

I start row 5 with 20 stitches, and once I get to after the psso, i find i only have three stitches left on my left needle, not enough to complete the row. What on earth am i doing wrong? I'm knitting as follows Edge st, p2, K1, K2tog, K1, P1, K2, P2, K2, yo, K1, s1, K1, psso and then i only have three stitches left! EEK!

I would love to learn how to hold the yarn as you do. I have tried wrapping yarn over my left hand fingers and always gets to tight. Any tricks?
