Great video! I like how slow you speak, so I can process the language about plants. You could also post all your tips below the screen. Thanks for sharing your love of Plants!
I liked this video so much better than most plant care influencer videos! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you. Things I really liked: 1. you kept it short. I hate 25 min videos! 2. you used specific instructions - lengths of roots, # of days, etc. 3. you included text on the screen, as well as closeups of the plants. Here are some suggestions, in case you find them helpful: 1. text on the screen works best when it's reiterating the thing you're saying. It's disorienting to hear one thing and read a different one. It felt like you were using text to add details that you forgot to say out loud, rather than just highlight the most important info. 2. if there are things you forgot to mention, you could cut away and do a separate voiceover (plus corresponding text on screen) over more footage of the plant. 3. add takeaways at the end - show text of all the major bullet points. 4. vary the visuals every 20-30 sec so it's not the same camera angle for too long. You could just intersperse closeups of the plants, etc. Can't wait to see more!
Thank you so much for noticing all the little things. I’m still learning editing. I add the text to keep the video short. But I understand it can be confusing. I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll work on improving the videos. Thanks again for watching and connecting!
I have subscribed today, good presentation and informative. Liked frosty or Christmas fern care. I saw it in my local nursery but didn't buy it as I didn't knew even it's name. So thanks a lot 👍
Wow that’s going to be a lot. Don’t be nervous. Just keep putting them in water as you are cutting. You can use bigger vases and jars and put 15-20 cutting in one. I have 7-8 vases filled with containers. I pruned a lot of pothos I had in different pots.
So mines got a big yellow leaf, but all the others have dried up brown marks.. am i over watering or not watering enough? The pots well draining and hangs in my kitchen window. Lots of sun.. i dunno if its just picky?.. or.. lol Iv done either both.. letting it try out completely and also drained it well.. lol im at a loss.
Once I while their one or two bottom old leaves can turn yellow. It could be from inconsistent watering. What works best for me is I water them very thoroughly and then let it dry out. If it gets lot is sun. You need to water it more frequently. Before watering you can check if the soil is at least 50% dry.
Hi I just read your email. You need to keep cutting the infected stem until you see no brown or black in the middle of the step. Once you see clean stem sanitize what ever you are using to cut the stem and cut little bit more. You really need to sacrifice that stem all the way if you have to otherwise it will continue to spread to the rest of the plant. Then let the cut dry out completely. For a least two weeks or until it forms a callus.
No it’s the infection in the stem or rot whatever you want to call it. You need to keep cutting until you see it’s clean. There should not be any spots when you cut a healthy stem.
Hi I got your email. The last picture is still showing some brown. You need to cut more until no brown spots. If you still see brown then get rid of the root part as well. You can propagate that stem. But it’s some sort of infection. You need to get rid of it completely.
Sure I’ll make that video in the future. Normally I transplant them in soil when they have 2-3 inches of roots. I have also tried growing them directly in soil. That method works good as well. That way you don’t have to worry about transplanting them and worry about losing some in the process.
You’re very soothing and easy to listen to and watch. Great video! Thanks 🙏 for sharing.

Can you make follow up video to show how roots grow and when is the best time to transplant them in soil?
