    I bought this keyboard for the same exact reason. The set up is great. Especially when typing on the desk

  • @DonalLeader

    I have pretty much the same set up with this keyboard and it is absolutely the best. I use in coffee shops without difficulty. No clicks to disturb anybody else. One small downside is that over time with use the fabric begins to detach from the base which means that that there is a certain loss of tactile contact. It still works fine but I expect that in another year or so it will detach completely. However, my cunning plan is to purchase another one on eBay because the typing experience is so good. Great review by the way.

    Spot on review. I have one. I just wish they made one with a trackpad now - like the equivalent of the new magic keyboard, but wireless without a case.

    thanks that helped me in buying this instead of the apple iPad keyboard. i didn't like the bulkiness however i wanted to know the functions of logi keyboard. Its great that you showed the functions.

    Chris, I’ll definitely be that 17th subscriber! For a new channel-you definitely have great quality with set up and your content! I actually find myself in the market for this product, because recently I bought an iPad mini (because my iPad Pro 2017 and new MacBook 15” felt huge) and wanted something even more minimal. Keep up the content!

      Thanks for the sub. V much appreciated. I’ve been trying to downsize for years and the iPad is such a compelling option for me. Glad you found the review helpful 👍

    Great video!!! I've had my 3rd Gen 12.9 iPad Pro since November and been researching on which accessories to finally add to it. It's currently in my Amazon cart and I'm ready to pull the trigger. Planning on using it along with The Muse Case (also in my cart). :-) Thanks, CC!!!

    I recently upgraded my iPad Pro and I didn’t like that the original Smart Keyboard damaged the finished a little on the side of my previous iPad. I bought this one to avoid having to connect it to the side to side of the iPad. So far, so good. The typing experience will definitely take some getting used to. Keys are not as responsive as the Smart Keyboard, but the shortcuts keys are nice as well as the battery life and portability.

      Hy Landon, can you please advice me if it is comfortable to use this with my ipad 8gen with stand which come along with it. People says it bulks. Is it really that much bulky that i cant type with this whilst keeping ipad on its stand. I would appreciate your reply.

    • @landoctor94
      @landoctor94 3 года назад +1

      @@danishdev2068 yes, it’s comfortable. Just keep in mind that the keyboard is separate from the iPad, so you need to have it on a table or desk for the best experience.

    This is exactly my problem. I need my ipad for drawing, but occasionally also need a keyboard. The two folio solution is getting annoying over time.
    This is the perfect fix for that and i even can get some money back when selling my old ipad keyboard.

    How is typing in your lap/on uneven surfaces with this keyboard?

    • @huggyc86
      @huggyc86  5 лет назад

      lasse the keyboard is quite hard but because it doesn’t clip to the iPad I don’t think I’d recommend it for laps

    • @huggyc86
      @huggyc86  5 лет назад

      On there website they have the use case that it can be used for Apple TV so Logitech believe it’s sturdy enough to be used for couch typing

    • @lasse1106
      @lasse1106 5 лет назад +1

      @@huggyc86 Thanks, I've been seeing quite a few people saying it's not good for typing on your lap/uneven surfaces, so I've decided to go for the Logitech K380 instead. (I'm not using it for an Apple device either)

    Does any micro usb work to charge? I can’t find the micro usb with the logitec logo on it. But I have two other micro usbs that get it charging and flashing green while on charge. Will this fry my keyboard? Or should it work as an alternative?

      The Transplant Helper I can easily fit it into my sleeve which is pretty form fitting to the iPad so I would think it should fit :)

    You could just take the iPad of the Keyboard when you dont need it, it's designed to that you know.

    • @ducklingscap897
      @ducklingscap897 2 года назад

      Sure but
      1) why would you pay over a $100 more when this one works fine too?
      2) if you don't want to take your keyboard with you somewhere you'd need different case to protect it.

    • @trustyvault13canteen32
      @trustyvault13canteen32 2 года назад

      @@ducklingscap897
      1) Because some people like Apples keyboard more. Buy whatever fits your bill. I was just pointing out that you can use the iPad without the keyboard too since the reviewer criticized it for not being able to do that.
      2) yes, but see point 1)

    Thank you for this. I bought this because I needed a smaller keyboard but quiet enough to take notes in class! All of the small Bluetooth keyboards I’ve used have been extraordinarily loud and embarrassing in class. I plan to switch between the more types friendly (loud keyboard) and this for different uses (:
