I lived in Orange County, California, for ten years and loved being so close to Disneyland. Never got tired of driving past the main entrance, never got tired of watching the fireworks from my kitchen window, never got tired of seeing the Matterhorn from the freeway when coming home from somewhere else. We went to the park every Sunday night to have dinner or just hang out. I miss it so much. People who think Disney ever gets old just don't get Disney.
Couldn't agree more!
Great topic! All the things I miss from my old Windermere home. The train whistle and fireworks are so special. Why did I ever move 😢. Such a magical place.
We are heading there in April and snagged a two night at Grand Floridian
We visited my daughter and her husband (and puppy) at the end of 2021 and enjoyed hearing (and sorta seeing) the MK fireworks. They chose to buy in that neighborhood (in Windermere) in part because she can bike to work at MK in about ten minutes. It's a great location, and you couldn't live far from them.
That is awesome!
Looking forward to all of these things!!!! Eeek😊
❤️
That’s the life! Thanks for sharing 💚
You bet!
I LOVE this video! I thoroughly have enjoyed your whole journey to this point!
Awesome! Thank you!
I love you both! I love your videos and your family. Your videos are wonderful. I’m trying to convince my retired husband to move down in six years. I’m hoping to semi-retire in 6 years at the age of 55. I survived breast cancer in 2022 and just want to live my best life in Florida near Disney. I would even love to work there part time. ❤
That’s so awesome!!! We wish you the absolute best and good luck with the convincing!
We’ve been here a week so far and can’t believe we are here permanently. We got our annual passes today at Disney Springs. Our new home is hopefully going to be finished by April so in the meantime we are renting in Davenport. Epcot tomorrow can’t wait, hopefully get to meet you guys someday !!!
we are moving in 2 months! does it feel so surreal ?
also where did you get your passes in Disney springs?
@@Nancygracehearts there is a Disney ticket center at Disney Springs.
That’s awesome!! Yes please say hi when you see us!
The hurricanes oh no
😂
Another great video, for me seeing that castle is just amazing. I really love your videos, but it makes me miss disney more and more. But I will be back in May. Thank you to both of you for the awesome videos.
Thank you and have an amazing trip in May!
We would feel the same way about Disneyland. :-)
Never say never!
I said it. And I’m not apologizing 😜
Where can I find that sign on your wall?
It was a gift. I think maybe from Etsy?
I’ve heard Orlando had so many price hikes on top of inflation due to being a tourist area. Is the grocery bill unreasonable?
Prices here have gone up with inflation just as they did where we came from. But that doesn’t mean it has to be unreasonable. I just bought two briskets for $2.99/lb (half price). Froze one and making the other this weekend. That will make at least four meals for all of us. I try to balance out the cost of the theme parks (that’s where it gets expensive) with shopping sales in the grocery store. Just depends on how you look at it.
