From what I hear, they couldnt make it too close to filmation since Matel doesnt own the rights to the cartoon anymore. They only have a licensing deal to make a cartoon and toys based on the IP.

That's likely also why the iconic music wasn't used in the live action movie with Dolph Lundgren back in 1986 either. The Bill Conti score for that film is still damn good though.

Yes, TOTALLY AGREE!!! I saw this particular HE-MAN transformation, yesterday, as part of a collage of He-Man transformations, and naturally, when I got to this particular transformation, while impressive, I couldn't help but felt like they were being too over-the-top with it, while also lacking that very familiar substance of what generally makes He-Man and the Masters of the Universe work. Yes, something was desperately missing alright; and naturally, that something was its iconic, fist-pumping, feel good, theme song; which is a no brainer for those of us who had the most blessed time growing up with the original 1980s series!!! So my grateful hat's off to you, StevieP83, for sharing this gem of a gift with the rest of us. No haters here. So thank you for sharing something that we didn't know we needed, but certainly are glad we got it. You rock, my friend! Furthermore, after viewing this, MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE masterpiece, it got me to thinking: Why can't they (general behind-the-scenes people/original ownership included) just come together and reach some sort of mutual agreement with blending old school stories with today's new animation techniques for a more contemporary audience. In other words, deliberately take old shows and all their episodes, (like He-Man) and set it by today's animation standards; while keeping the original voice cast, soundtrack, sound effects and, of course, theme song, to coincide with the updated series to combine the best of both worlds for today's contemporary audience and the baby boomers who had the privilege of growing up with these shows??? Anything to help cut back on budget costs, right? Same goes with shows like ThunderCats, The Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Real Ghostbusters, and Disney favorites like DuckTales and Darkwing Duck... just to name a few! Yeah, I'd definitely watch those updated shows, to be sure! Feeling so nostalgic, right now!
You can't go wrong with the original transformation sequence. It goes great with all the transformations like the one everybody has saw. It's simply awesome 🤘

This is just me, but not a fan of the rainbow transformation. I enjoyed the sound effect rerun you did, and I know the animation isn’t on you. It just feels like they took a She Ra transformation and stuck it on He Man. Regardless I enjoyed the redubs you’ve done, and keep up the good work
I would tone it down a bit but overall i feel like the rainbow aura around him feels more like he's harnessing all cosmic forces to become He-man. The similarities to She Ra also makes it feel like the power is more unified. I kinda wonder if the original wanted to do something like that but was lacking in production costs. I do understand how others don't like it, i'm a rare case of a Henshin fan who just loves transformations sequences.

The most important thing for anyone who is planning to reboot any cartoon from the 80s.. most realize the threme music and transformation was the most exciting time during any show especially for He-Man.. as child you got so excited and tried to imitate his voice and body movements through the entire transformation.
