Barry lost three brothers, and still carries on,despite his pain. What an example.A true artist .The show must go on...and more. All the very best,Barry. You sound sensational.Thenks to the Bee Gees for all those exstatic years.
Wow, you KNOW, Andy, Maurice, and Robin all smile down on Barry. As we all do here, but only with, Barry. Truly proving what a great big brother he was, and still is.
I went to the second Brisbane concert. I was so impressed!! I mean, he barely left the stage and he was sooooo tired at the end of the concert...and then I finally gathered enough courage to wave to him... and as tired as he was... he waved back.
WOW, I still can't believe they are all gone. It breaks my heart to see him up there alone. God bless you Barry with peace and strength. You are loved!
I guess those behind the 149 dislikes have no heart or empathy. It took great courage for him to go out on his own to keep their musical legacy alive. It was a miracle that he was able to keep it together concert after concert during his verbal tributes to his brothers. I cannot keep the sadness out of my heart when listening to this beautiful performance of a classic song about everlasting life following death of those closest to you. I was so fortunate to see his concert supporting his solo album, and to meet him. He was humble and appreciative of the things I had to say about a group I have loved for over 40 years. The only regret I have is that Andy, Maurice, and Robin died way too soon.
What amazes me about the Bee Gees is that they dared to dream. I too was born in poverty in Manchester not far from where the boys lived. My experience was one of survival just getting food for the table to my parents was a triumph. These three guys rose above all their challenges and dared to dream a better future for themselves. They shared, their up and downs never pretentious though millionaires they never ever forgot where they came from despite how far they rose. They cared for their parents, spouses, children and their adoring fans worldwide. Three brothers three words sum these wonderful guys up Daring, sharing and caring. God bless them for daring to have that collective dream. Barry to do what you just did was so poignant, sad but above all a celebration of a life lived despite the heartache of your losses God Bless all of you. Thank you for all the wonderful memories watching past interviews and shows just brings me to tears hot tears of total joy at your obvious love of performing together and sadness that Mo and Robin are no longer with us. R.I.P Andy, Mo and Robin total one off's, bless you for all the wonderful music you worked so hard to produce and share with us all.
I just discovered the Wonderful singing and the group who were the Bee Gees. Even though I am 65 years young. I have been fighting my own battle to keep my head above water in life. With the constant abuse that I have (and continue to live with) I discovered the Comforting music of the Bee Gees. Thank you God for giving me the gift of ears to hear the Bee Gees music. It helps to keep me going.
I know it is so sad that he is only one left but we will never forget the contribution that him and his brothers made to music now and for ever RIP Robin and Maurice
Hearing Barry sing without his brothers is like hearing a lonely guitar with only 1 string. I'm sure he feels the same way inside. RIP Mo, Robin & Andy
Barry still gives me chills all over when he sings:-) His tribute to his brothers made me cry, and even MORE happy that Barry is on the stage again! LOVE that Steve is up there with him, and Sam and Ali too!God Bless The Gibbs! There will always be a place in music for them! :-)
Amazing Barry's voice is still great! What a lovely celebration of his brothers lives. I wish he would come our direction, I know I would love to go see Barry. I know his brothers are there with him in spirit. Thanks for the post
I tried to think why the BeeGees are my favorite group EVER...(.couldn't get on the Beatles Bandwagon)...and I know...it's the depth, sincerity, genuineness, goodness, honesty these three men exuded from their very being, bringing us words that would last the ages and performed them from the heart. Where did those words come from when they were so young...now with such truth measured est in another dimension of life. Nobody like the BeeGees...ever. Thank you, guys, truly...for a wonderful ride.
First of all, Barry's voice sounds great, as usual. Secondly, I'm sure this tiur has been very emotionally therapeutic for Barry. God Bless the Bee Gees forever!
Barry has huge amount of personal reserve, guts,to put it bluntly.Lost three brothers, and can still face the world on the stage the Bee Gees created, and perform to perfection.Sad,but Barry actually,by example, helps the fans come to terms with their own grief
Barry your not singing alone your brothers Andy and Maurice and Robin are singing with you from heaven.... thank you for all the beautiful songs,, you and your brothers will always be number 1 in my heart..
Incredibly sad !!! I truly NEVER thought I would be watching Barry alone on stage talking about Andy, Maurice and Robin as a tribute to them because all 3 of them are gone. My heart broke watching this.
What a fine, true gentleman. Thanks for all the memories and tributes. Don't leave us Barry. We need you and the family needs you. The world would not be the same without you.
The BEE GEES...WHO COULD EVER FORGET THESE FOUR BROTHERS AND THEIR MUSIC...GOD BLESS THEM...YOUR BAND HAS BROUGHT SO MUCH LOVE...THOUGHT...AND ENJOYMENT TO MY LIFE PERSONALLY...IRREPLACEABLE...ALWAYS IN MY HEART...MIND...SPIRIT...AND SOUL...!!!!! THANK YOU...
I know your heart aches for them, but they're smiling down on you, waiting for you on the other side. You time here on earth is not done yet, keep doing what you were meant to do until you're called home. Love you Barry, and GOD bless.
Always thought this was one their best songs. But I never thought I'd hear the one surviving brother sing it for the others. Still, Barry sang it so beautifully, and he continues to fulfill his destiny.
how sad seeing him alone in the stage performing😥go go go barry...we're here to support you always...we love beegees forever here in the philippines...we missed your 3 brothers😥( andy😥maurice😥& robin...you are the living legend🤗🤗🤗
It's absolutely amazing what Barry & Brother's have accomplished over the years. Not only the hits of the Bee Gees and Andy's too short lived career, but all of the terrific songs they have written that became chart topper's for other artists. They have withstood the test of time. "Simply the Best". God Bless Barry & Brothers looking down on all music lover's.
Sir Barry, there are generations of devoted fans across the globe blessing you and wishing you well. You will never never be alone in any part of the world. We love you and we love your brothers. We are also grateful to your mom and dad for gifting you and your brothers to the world.
I have nothing But RESPECT For this Broken Hearted Man!!! Love You Barry Forever!!! Your Brother's live on in every living thing on this Earth-Infinitely.........
As much as I miss Robin and Mo, I just cannot imagine the pain that Berry faces every day. Berry you are carrying the Bee Gees the Brothers Gibb the love on so very well. We, your fans love you and still miss and love your wonderful brothers. ❤️💔💔
my tears fell down when I heard this song from Mr. Barry, because of his brothers who were passed away!! I liked this song from the very start that i' ve heard!! thank you sir Barry for this wonderful song!!
My heart bleeds for Barry. He is haunted, he has confessed that he was not on speaking terms with any of his brothers when they passed. Here he does a great job of showing his longing to have the chance to redo those last months with his brothers.
When I was in high school I dreaded disco music and the Bee Gees because I listened to and enjoyed most, progressive rock. Today I appreciated everything they did and have done.....their body of work is unparalleled. I miss them. I really truly miss them. When I saw their One Night Only show it moved me to tears at times and so much joy at others.......amazing. Just amazing. Long live the Bee Gees.
+Kurt Borges Kurt, I really miss them too. I find it so hard not to cry when I watch all these videos. I consider it such a blessing to have lived in such a time to be young enough to have enjoyed all the work that they have done all these years. Amazing, fantastic and the best of the best.
I saw barry in new zealand in 2013 when he payed tribute to his 3 younger brothers. As the only surviving, big brother, this must really of been brave.
A One man show concert, nevertheless ,still heartfelt! It must be hard for Barry to sing those songs & remember his dearly departed brothers while crooning those unforgetable hits..
I'm very glad to see fans just watching BARRY talking and singing a beautiful song on a stage. The fans's sound and enjoy at your show because they loved you and BEE GEES. Although l'm look so sad but l sure MAURICE and ROBIN were there with you. Love BEE GEES forever. Thanks for share this.
We will always have special place in our hearts for Mo, Robin, and Barry ( THE BEE GEES ) I feel realy bad for BARRY, II`m so sure , he missed his 2 brothers deeply, but life goes on. and We all have to move on along, one thing thou,,, Their music will always be there tto cheer us up, when times are down or up , BEE GEES ROCKS !!!!
How must he feel? they all grew up together, whatever differences they had they were brothers and their love will never die...because people die they still live on in our hearts.
Barry must feel so alone without his brothers but it was such a beautiful song he just sang for his brothers. Their music will long live and more generations will hear their brilliant song writing and music
Sir Barry, as I watch this tribute I can’t help but cried, knowing how you felt for your siblings. I always pray for your well being and your family too, even if I never met you nor attended your concerts. I can only admire you from afar. God bless.
Barry you have a gift of giving towards other's . You put other's before you . This World needs people like you. Your time will come to reunited with your loved ones. your brother's are very proud of you.
Happy Birthday Barry. I love you and I loved The BeeGees. Ya'll were my favorite group along with The Beach Boys. I have every song/album you all every made. Andy, Robin, and Maurice are all missed very much. Please stay with us forever, I will never forget you or your brothers.
Thanks so much Sonja for sharing these intimate moments. Words can't describe the amount of pleasure these 3 boys/men and their music have given me. Really missing those harmonies, but still really love this voice on it's own and so so grateful he is carrying on. One thing to be grateful for is he has a whole lot of new song writing material - and l looove it. thanks again Sonja Love your laugh.
God Bless you Barry . Love and miss your bothers but Your their rock in the family foundation . Thanks for carrying on my friend . There will never be a goodbye . Just one day a hello again .
I was so privileged to go to his second Brisbane concert on Feb 18, 2013 . I got a 10th to 15th row middle seat and it was such a wonderful night. It took all night to summon the courage to wave to Barry, and even though he was sooo tired out by the end, and he probably couldn't make me out, he still responded with a wave back. Also I was so impressed at his determination/dedication to provide us with quality songs played non stop stop for all of about 2 hours, with minimal breaks on his part. I mean, he looked so tired by the end - it just screamed "real professionalism" to me. There was also this lady dancing away all by herself a few rows in front of me... but I'm sure people were dancing away in their hearts, wishing they could be like her - I certainly was. Also I loved their music especially "Spicks and Specs" (i.e. it's opening piano beat, you know what I mean) even before I knew who the Bee Gees were. I finally linked the music to the artists at the age of about 24; I bought my first cd of theirs, played it non stop 22 times - until my dad growled at me to stop! I'm only sooo sorry, that at that stage I had only liked them with a fervour for all of four months, because 12 years later, they're still my number one band and I'm STILL kicking myself for not having gone down to Sydney to watch them sing all together. That said, a cousin, knowing of my love of their music photoshopped me into one of their pictures too... I made that my FB Christmas Greetings card for 2013 too... so at least something is immortalized :-) ... p.s. obviously no copyright infringements intended! Thank you so much for all your music!
Barry, you and your brothers brought us the joy of life. You're still here to do so. Like millions, I grew up with your music. I remember mom telling me she was at Studio 54 being asked for lipstick from Olivia Newton John. Dad. He played your records on WPLJ. I'm marrying a girl I met when I was 9 and she was 4. Summer of 75. We last saw each other in 1980. Together 30 years later. "How Deep Is Your Love" might be the best description of love ever written to song.
Well, we don't really know that his brothers are smiling down on him so it doesn't prove a thing.
I went to the second Brisbane concert. I was so impressed!! I mean, he barely left the stage and he was sooooo tired at the end of the concert...and then I finally gathered enough courage to wave to him... and as tired as he was... he waved back.

What is the meaning of the phrase "total one-offs"? I'm not familiar with it. I'm also a tiny bit late in asking, I realize.
@@beeharbour a "one-off" means a one-of-a-kind, I believe.

I'm marrying a girl I met when I was 9 and she was 4. Summer of 75. We last saw each other in 1980. Together 30 years later. "How Deep Is Your Love" might be the best description of love ever written to song.
