That is a good question but maybe the curse had already become internal, even if it just showed in the hand. Since Snape is a Dark Arts expert, I’m sure he would’ve simply cut off the hand if he thought it would help. And he did know how to counter the curse so he probably would’ve known if cutting it would help. But he didn’t. So I assume it wouldn’t have helped.
I'd say it's like a concentration gradient. Theres a higher concentration of the curse where the horcrux curse diffused into Dumbledore's hand and it's already diffusing into lower concentrated areas but slowly. Wondering why I just used biology on youtube but that's my explanation

Those were other items that saw into the person's mind & made a conclusion on what they needed. What made the goblet deserve to be in the title other than its cool sounding name? When I 1st saw the title I wondered if the goblet would be some kind of weird challenge Harry would have to do (like hold or drink from the cup without being burned) to get info, or some kind of important item he would have to prevent Voldemort from getting. So then when that wasn't it, I wondered why make us wonder about this goblet in the 1st place if it's not important? Was there something else hidden in its nature we needed to find out? But nothing new was discovered about it by the end of the book, it was just the plot device to force Harry into the competition. Also, the muggle Olympics have a flaming torch. It makes sense to have a flaming torch or an oil lamp. A flaming cup doesn't make sense. That made me wonder about who made it, because it's illogical unless the cup just holds some liquid spell to drink that metaphorically burns like fire. Actual flames coming from a cup is just weird.

So I feel like short hair Seamus is "opening the burn book" and this means that maybe he can roost one of the big guys theory's like maybe supercarlin brothers, Matpat or the theorizes... This would be some fun "drama", but might also be tactical sense that will get these channels to roost you back which in turn will bring the word out about you and might bring new followers! And later when you get your hair back and found a type of content you like to make (because you are clearly testing the waters with theses latest videos) you can simply blame that this was "short hair Seamus" speaking and this is clearly your channel's angsty teen period, so we can all over look it later 😉. And later when you get your hair back and found a type of content you like to make (because you are clearly testing the waters with theses latest videos) you can simply blame that this was "short hair Seamus" speaking and this is clearly your channel's angsty teen period, so we can all over look it later 😉.
Oh and if you want a tip on some content that is easy and that I want more of that is potter more exclusive "facts" because I love Harry Potter but I'm way to lazy to read that with my dyslexia but I really want to learn it, you know before the films or for that matter JK changes canon again...
