I saw the Shopify Mountain part and freaked out too and realized no one was commenting on how dystopian it was.
So naming a mountain after a brand is dystopian, but clapping for 11 minutes for your dictator so you wont die, isnt?

@@namonai it is tough for me, I think the trip was great and obviously it is such an expensive undertaking that he wouldn’t of done it without a sponsor. I get that and do think they promoted leave no trace, filled in the hole, took the flag seemed respectful of the space they occupied which is commendable since yters what do I expect but I felt naming the mountain after a company felt really tacky. Imagine a future where there’s a scientific expedition that finds some crazy fossil on Shopify mountain or hell so much melt regular people can go down on tours of it. It seemed like he legit gets to name it but if that’s bs and the name isn’t actually real I think I would feel better about it. It’s a weird corporate colonialism were a piece of land untouched by humans for the entire existence of the earth is for the first time ever seen it’s featured in a Mr Beast challenge video and then named after a company. If that isn’t some colonial age shit idk what is.

I don't know, I just feel like mr. Beast is a kind person. He cares about his crew. Yes, he falls under billionare syndrome sometimes, and of course he's done stuff wrong, but overall he's pretty transparent and helps a lot of people.

Shopee is very popular here in Thailand, actually, the CR7 Shopee ad was a Thai ad (you can see people that look Thai and you can hear a Thai accent).
I do not know what Thai people look like because I don't assume someone is a particular race by their physical appearance!

Video looks fake in my opinion, might have been recorded someplace else. Some places in the US are so cold that if you piss, it freezes midair, yet some of them aren't wearing glasses, masks, face protective gear, etc at all despite it being antartica, also Jimmy opens a water bottle mid blizzard and somehow it doesn't freeze, also who drinks ice cold water in the middle of the coldest place on earth in a blizzard? Not to mention the cameramen and everybody is walking around as if nothing is happening, notice how their faces do not go red ither despite the temperature, or the fact that their beards or sweat freezes despite them walking for miles, and that being common in very cold places. Even if it is summer in antartica (which it isn't), it'd still be more than cold enough to see the effects.
Also It actually is not summer in Antarctica, also even if it is, which it isn't, it'd still be cold enough to kill you within an hour maybe less, yet they don't fully cover themselves and he drinks water from a bottle without it freezing, notice how the sweat on his face doesn't even freeze despite him walking for "hours" and it not being protected. Also Antarctica is not a place you can just go to and have fun, it kills people, yet they are seen just standing around using camera equipment which wouldn't work at all throughout the blizzards and freezing temperatures, the most likely place they went to was somewhere in Switzerland which is much warmer than Antarctica. Not to mention flying to antartica in that shitcraft of an aeroplane isn't just illegal, it wouldn't even fucking work, the only planes used for transport to the continent are the british made BAE 146-200, the AVRO RJ 85, and the AVRO RJ 100, as well as tourist ships, that fucking plane they went in couldn't even fit all of them inside, let alone survive thousands of miles of the atantic, african and artic seas.
Seriously you think that they are showing that plane carried them from us to Antarctica with skies as landing gear.
