Honestly, you seem like you've done this before, so wouldn't say you're new to the sport. But the way you let the fish sit on the snow or hold them out of the water so long is crazy. Also, pinch the barbs on those hooks and they'll release easier and your hands won't get as cold either. And, then tossing them back in.......Don't get me wrong, glad you got so many fish. I love this section of the Big T.
So in this video I was maybe a few miles up from Drake. Indicator depends but I’ll typically set it at 3-4’ above my first fly assuming river isn’t very fast or deep. Also, assuming the fly doesn’t have a bead or any kind of weight. If I’m tagging the bottom too much I’ll adjust. As of right now I’m even doing the same because the river has amazing flows right now. Some spots you would want to use weighted flies but I’ve been having extremely productive days throughout the entire river just because of the flows and temperatures right now. Not using weighted flies at the moment either.
“Hey, have you ever thought about taking a catch and release course? Might benefit the release of your future catches and keep the fishing good for the next guy.” One way to put it a little nicer. Should I go on? Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones.
Lots of fish in that one spot. Looked like a fun day out. 👏🙌🔥❤️
Nice man! Love the big T. The fish always seem to be hungry.
Thanks! The big T is great

At this point I had just started fishing alone. I’ve learned a lot since then especially when it comes to handling fish. Thanks for the info!
Nice video man . How far above your fly did you place your indicator if you don’t mind me asking ? You smashed it out there .

You should seriously take a catch and RELEASE course training. What a awful way to handle a catch dude!
