this couldn't be further from the truth, if anything, the dreamcast and it's closely associated NAOMI arcade hardware helped keep arcade machines relevant far past their relevancy into the tail end of the 2000's; NAOMI hardware outlasted the dreamcast by quite a few years!
Online it says if you beat Arcade mode on very hard with all 5 trucks (the Japanese truck included) that you are then able to play as Lizard Tail. I'm guessing this is BS because I've done that and he doesn't show up.
Playing this right now. Thanks for saving me the time from doing this myself. I beat very hard with my favorite trucker (Streamline), but wasn't too thrilled to try it with the others (especially Highway Cat).

Never understood how driving from New York to Key West in more than two minutes could be considered a failure for a truck driver.
Well, I believe that the America in the 18 Wheeler games was a shortened up version of it.
