It is always nice to know the next load in advance. Every so often I know ahead of time or am given a pre plan but definitely not as often as I would like.
That's about all we can do really is just shake our head at people like that. If we yell at them then they could take all day to unload us if they wanted just to get back at us. Thank you and you have a good week as well.
I enjoy your videos. I have a couple of questions. Did you go thru Millis CDL school? How long have you drove for them? Are they good about getting you home when you want? And sorry, one more… I notice that the sleeper on you truck seems to be a little smaller than most of the Millis trucks I see. Did you choose the smaller sleeper or is that something that there going to? Thanks!!!
Yes, I went through the CDL school at Millis. It was a great experience. They teach in a way that you understand everything they are telling you and they also make sure you are prepared to pass . I have been with them for just over a year total. I have about 6 more weeks before I will have been in my own truck for exactly one year. I was on my trainers truck about two months. They are great about getting you home. I drive Regional not OTR so I go home every weekend. All Millis expects from the Regional drivers is to give them 5 days straight on the road. You can stay out longer if you choose to though. For me, I leave out from home every Monday morning and I get home every Friday. But you can start your week on whatever day you want. There has only been maybe 3 times that I couldn't make it in until Saturday morning but those reasons were because of traffic, or getting behind at a shipper/receiver. It was never because Millis kept me out. As I mentioned above, I drive Regional and not OTR so that is why I have a smaller sleeper on my truck. All of the Regional trucks have the 52 inch sleepers and all of the OTR trucks have the 76 inch sleepers.
@@keithoxley as I mentioned, my truck has the 52 inch sleeper on it. My truck doesn't have the cabinets that the bigger 76 inch trucks have behind the seats. My refrigerator is under my bunk and I have two cabinets and a shelf above my bunk where the second bunk would be. I actually don't mind the smaller truck anymore, I have gotten used to it so it's actually not that bad. I'm only out for 5 days so not having the extra storage isn't really that big of a deal to me.
@@keithoxley check out this link. With my permission, Millis edited one of my videos and posted it on their site. It is a interior tour of my truck. ruclips.net/video/rDRjXFcm03U/видео.html
Millis does use the two way cameras and as far as what brand my seat cushion is I will have to look and see if it is on it somewhere when I get back in the truck. I don't remember what it was, but I can tell you that it works and I love it.
I usually do when I have the left door still closed. We have some trailers that has a handle on the right side also and those are the ones I am more used to and that's the reason you see me reaching on the right side lol. I need to start looking at that before I open both doors.

people should act right the way the world is
I agree
One of the things I do not miss, is having to do empty and ready before knowing the next load. I know mine well in advance.

Good vlog. Glad you did not change in mood after dealing with warehouse guy. I just shake my head. Have a good week and stay safe.

@@TwoWheelTrucker1 what about your truck. I was curious to know about the sleeper size?

2 questions. Does Millis use 2 way cameras in the cab and what brand is that seat pad you use?

The cushion brand is "perfect cushion"
You should use the left door handle to climb into trailer much easier and safer

What phone mount are you using?
