People used to deal with their personal issues privately and in therapy but now SCHOOLS train people to make all their identity issues amplified and public and an interpersonal social issue. I have seen this in Uni they train everybody to complain about their personal identity. It is clearly damaging to individuals and even not good for the military. Look at the count of comments 200+ I can only see about 14 of them.

"The army takes the care & quality of life of all our service members & their families very seriously" ...direct quote! ...
Then why are there so many service members (ex & current) with serious disabilities & mental health problems, caused by things that have happened to them while serving, hat are now living on the streets, that are addicts/alcoholics (due to self medicating) & so so many of these selfless service members, that take their own lives, trying to stop the pain they feel, both physically & mentally.
They end up have crippling healthcare fees & long wait times, for any operations they might need to help fix an injury, or for the physiotherapy they might need, or the psychology & psychiatry therapies they need. I understand that in UK we have our NHS & in the US, there is the V.A., but these services are so overwhelmed, here are enormous backlogs. In the US, it can take 2+yrs to get a decision on a claim for disability or help of any kind.
How would those 'in power' feel, if they had to wait for a decision, to see whether are not they are eligible for help, FROM THEIR EMPLOYERS, to get those prosthetic limbs & the physio to help them use the prosthetics and/or gain the ability to walk again, after they had their limbs blown off by a landine, whilst they were on duty, serving the army & country, to help keep it safe! I bet they dont have to wait any length of time, to even have a tooth filled!
Also HOW can u justify that around 30% of veterans claims for this help are DENIED?! If someone has been posted to 'the frontlines' & more than likely completed multiple tours of duty, how can you deny them help?! All service members, in all types of the military, that have been to a warfront, will AT LEAST need some form of mental health care, regardless of any physical issues they have!
There needs to be more done for all service members, all veterans, to make sure they get whatever they need. That help needs to be lined up & in place, BEFORE they are discharged from duty. That way, no one falls through the cracks or gets lost in the system.
These selfless souls have sacrificed their very own wellbeing & lives, to help complete strangers to be safe from attacks by foreign forces, they MORE THAN deserve our respect & given the dignity to hold their heads up & feel useful to society & their own communities!
Its disgusting & disgraceful! I'm not just talking about US military, I'm talking about all militaries, right across the world! No, im not an ex-service member either, I'm just a person that feels it should be a normal, everyday thing to treat everyone around us, with dignity, respect & empathy. Veterans across the world, are not given the respect, nor treated with the dignity, they so truly deserve!

Do you know what the Military Housing Privatization Initiative is? It was an effort that Congress approved in 1990 to leverage public funding to reduce taxpayer costs and improve housing for military service members. This, effectively, ended the DoD's involvement in the continued improvement and upkeep of military housing and turned that responsibility over to a non-government affiliated company, a contractor, that the Federal Government pays AND that collects the BAH of military service members. How this functionally works is that instead of calling your base maintenance support, you would call your company's maintenance and they would be the ones to handle it. They are also the ones responsible for updating and maintaining living facilities, they aren't. This is because the company charged with maintaining housing is the same company that has the goal of making money, not providing the best possible housing to service members. Why aren't apartments updated all the time? Why are apartments allowed to have 30 year old appliances? Because people HAVE to have a place to live and they are the lowest bidder. Same thing applies here. A family where the E-4 has a wife and three kids, that wife probably can't work and if she can it's probably not going to offset the cost of living sufficiently for 3 kids, so they go with their best option. Give the E-4's BAH to the company, and get a house big enough for the family.
What it boils down to is this. Congress said "let a private company manage military family housing" so they did. The private company mismanaged it, didn't keep houses up to date, fastforward 30 years and you have rich companies and the same housing you had 30 years ago. This is not the DoD's problem to fix, this is Congress's problem to fix.

Did I just hear a general say they "take the care and quality of life of our service members seriously"? That's not true, at least, not in practice. So many soldiers arrive to their first base assignment and there are not enough housing units available for them. So, they give them a BAQ, basic allowance for quarters. The problem with that is, the BAQ is X, where the rent required to live in the area is often 1.5X to 2.5X, and that's for modest accommodations that are not in the safer areas of the city they are in. The base pay is likely adequate for single soldiers, but if they have a wife and children, it is woefully inadequate. Fortunately, the medical coverage is top notch - and that's a fairly decent trade-off. A shame that after the contract is up the medical coverage drops to crap because of our inability to fund the VA.

Nice plan. Now that the occupation has begun, fight the invader. Why not sooner?
I assume that you are referring to this rubbish about sexual identity politics.
Remember that political reality is quite superficial. Therefore the results of partisan political action are often disappointing. Roe v. Wade got overturned, but I seriously wonder how many lives have been saved, or how many minds have been changed.
Maybe things have 'gone too far' because people were fighting with fleshly weapons instead of spiritual ones. If these were questions of culture alone and the Word of God had nothing to say about them, well of course it would one person's opinion against another.
But the Word makes a distinction between what is appropriate and what is inappropriate.
