I received my rack last week took it out for the first time. the build quality is great! but i was really disappointed with the straps provided. They really do need to provide ratchet straps with secure locking ends, like carabiners or clips that close. after I got in the water the straps stretch once wet. I had the hook come off the attachment point.

agreed, you can do it for 70% less cost and spray paint it black and you will have the same thing.
