I frequently revisit this version of The Stand more times than maybe i should, 4 or 5 times a year because i enjoy that much and that’s usually either in one sitting or over two nights. It’s by far the greatest TV mini series in my humble opinion
Plot twist is that it's a computer virus or "radiation poisoning!" While people are looking over here with the rainbow, it's the invisible rainbow that is going to destroy us all. Arthur Furstenberg's the invisible rainbow.
Funny how they made my 2 fav king novels into early 90's miniseries' and were really good despite low budget...then both were remade recently and sucked. IT was ok as a different telling but not good
Far-and-away the best thing about the 1994 miniseries was Jamey Sheridan's excellent performance as Randall Flagg

The best Steven king adaptation ever KUDOS SK
The way to read the novel is the uncut edition with all the extra stuff
We Agree!
Superior to the newer version in every conceivable way!

Exactly. I liked the 1990 IT much better than the 2017 version. Tim Curry is irreplaceable.
