Larry Zelina's punt return TD - Purdue 1969

The late Buckeye legend houses one early in the third quarter right as #1 Ohio State was getting its rout on for #10 Purdue. Suffice to say: Larry Zelina was not impressed with Purdue's special teams.
Fun fact about Zelina: he was one of the Super Sophs, averaged an amazing 12.5 yard per touch and held the average yards per punt return mark for Ohio State before Ted Ginn broke it.

Larry was a great football player at Benedictine and Ohio State. Beyond being athletic, he had a grace and naturally great hands. His graceful athleticism reminded me of Paul Warfield, but, of course, on a lesser scale. Larry carried himself with confidence, but was very humble. RIP

Heard he had a heart attack in his insurance office in Worthington, oh and died on the spot, rest in peace old #16, rest in peace!

Unfortunately, Larry was reportedly a heavy smoker. Gone way too soon.
