- Activision has officially won their case and was awarded $14.5 MILLION dollars against a cheat maker. This is the second ruling in the case but it doesn't seem to be fully over yet as the cheat maker is continuing their efforts of selling cheats.

As far as hacks have gone, anti cheat has been popping off in terminating accounts that hack so far. This is coming from public testimonies who've tried this out for themselves, however.

Thing is it’s too hard to spot a decent cheater now but it’s pretty obvious when a level under 100 is top fragging also had multiple level 20 and under with then one trick camo in the small map mosh pit I’m guessing because it’s free trial weekend for the next few days but it it’s sad they can’t fix it this was the best cod for a while but cheaters ruin the experience
Id like to see ricochet notify you in game that its actually done something. Because i see NO evidence of it working in multiplayer. Even turn off crossplay and there’s cronus type players all over the place. When ps was supposed to prevent that.
Cheating in online games are such low IQ moves, that i kinda feel sad for em in a sense of something fucked them up so now they need to fuck others up. Cheating in singleplayer games is not even a question for me, ill look the game up and if i can and if ill still have fun im golden. If its in game or modded save file, idgaf im not here to tryhard or impress anyone, its my title to play alone imma play it how i want.

you've got to understand that the core beliefs at activision is to retain player base in order to make money through mtx. this is why sbmm exists, this is why activsion cant afford to ban any players. they'd rather a miserable player base who spends money than a non existent one

Idea: if you cheat in Cod or are reported for cheating and are found guilty of it. Then matchmaking will put you in games with other cheaters. Basically GTA bad sports lobbies. If you a falsely reported you will be unbanned after a representative of the company looks to see if you cheated. Thoughts?

Honestly it’s to late the damage is already done and they are still protecting big streamers that are still cheating I’m done with cod, because no matter what they do they have already shown the community that they don’t care about us and streamers are more important.
Only people who buy these cheats are PC Players. So how do we counter this. We turn off cross play completely. Problem solved bc people can't use Crounerboner anymore on console bc it will ban them.
Sorry but if they don't update their garbage anti cheat, nothing will change. Sure engine owning will be out of the picture but what about the dozens of other cheat makers who make the same cheats for the same games? If you think getting rid of a single company when their anti cheat is as awful as it is will solve the cheating problem in cod, you are delusional.

Actually, MW3 has been pretty decent. I stopped playing for years and recently picked it back up. I'm actually looking forward to black ops 6.. COD has sucked for sure, but atm its gets a 👍
