I’m debating 1080p 360hz DYAC+ or 1440p 360hz IPS. Does 1440p and more contrast outweigh the benefits of DYAC+? I mainly play competitive FPS. PC: 12700K RTX 3080
Excellent and honest review. Well done. One thing that surprises me is how the monitor scored roughly 5ms E2E latency with DyAC+ ON. Lower than with it being off, whereas the previous test with DyAC+ off showed measurements that were about 2-3 ms lower than with it being on. How could you explain this. Also, if you're a tryhard sweatball, would u still pick this monitor over the 1440p AQN 360hz? Thanks Whale, have a good day.
do you have any pixel inversion or vertical lines showing when you play at lower refresh like 60hz? I have the xl2566k and there are vertical lines when there is movement on screen
same here, received it two days ago. It hurts my head and makes it worse than the 360Hz IPS monitors, as the vertical lines undo any benefit I may get from the smoother image.
That's not what DYaC does. What you explained is black frame insertion. DYaC is not adding a black frame or picture, DYaC turns off the backlight when the image is done processing. People keep confusing black frame insertion with backlight strobbing and it's not the same thing.
i have a 3080ti, my main game is Apex Legends, do you know if this will be the best monitor out there for that game? I'm really close to purchasing this, but I need expert opinion on wheather I should get this or something like the new LG OLED 2k 240HZ monitor?
i have the DELL S2716DGR am pretty into mostly competive games such as Val csgo, is it worth the upgrade to this monitor? Or should i get the viewsonic 240hz? Or maybe even a 240 hz 1440p? I was just looking for advice thanks!

no acer nitro v2, the 390hz one? pretty much the same as the asus/alien ware 360 and the black insertion works all the way to 390hz and not 240 like on those I mentioned. and the acer is much cheaper than the alienware and asus 360hz ips monitor because it does not have the gsync module.

@Sebastian Crisostomo sorry, you mean the asus is a no brainer?
If you want every competitive advantage, get the zowie. But unless you are a pro gamer, go with the asus and you will have a better all-rounder.
Go for the lg oled 240hz with a 0.03 response time with incredible gtg response with high refresh rate of 240

I gave the 46k two chances and it seemed really shitty to me, do you recommend this 66k or better the 25Aqn from Asus?
