As a former WJ and XJ owner, im happy you said “Jeep Life”, I’ve owned 13 Jeeps (Wranglers & CJs, not incl my M715 and Cherokees)… people that duck, wave or say “Jeep Life” when they own Patriots, Compasses and Liberties are just posers and atrocities to the brand. 😂

I would do the flat black. You could also just send it out in raw steel, then who ever bought it can paint it or powder coat it what ever color they choose. I would prefer the raw myself.

Don't listen to this for wire routing, there is much better and direct boot right through the firewall on the driver side where the a main harness goes through.. I even have a 1/0 gauge wire going through there.
Also you absolutely do need to silicone any holes you make in hatch boot, drips of water will leak through in a down pour.
Yea there is but I didn’t want to have the wire go across the engine bay. You should but I haven’t had any water leaks helps it only rains a week out of the year here😂
The bracket looks like it could be used up front also. Behind the front license plate?
Probably but I think that would require a backing plate
