It's fkn amazing how good his voice sounds at almost 60 yrs old - he sounds better now than he did in the beginning and that's rare....so many singers are at the their vocal best in their 20's and only decline as they age....I could give so many examples but I'm sure I don't have to....I hate to say it but I doubt that Layne could have kept up his vocal intensity for very much longer and if he was still with us he'd most likely not be able to still sing alot of their early songs....same for Kurt - there's no way he could have kept that going for very long and definitely wouldn't be able to do it anymore at the age he'd be now....either way, I'm glad Jerry is still with us and writing fab music.
