Jerry has never made a bad song in his entire career, solo or not. The man is without a doubt one if the most passionate and talented singer-songwriters in history. I can't wait to hear more from this legend. Thank you for bringing us all along for the ride, Jerry!
Thank Layne for making him sing his songs, Layne told him " you wrote it you should sing it" many many years ago, he pushed him to sing in Alice and chains.
Last weekend I got to FINALLY see Jerry in concert. I was overcome with emotion and just started sobbing. Happy tears, of course. It's been a long time coming.
Jerry keeps getting better, like a fine wine! Can’t wait to hear more more from him. We saw him at the recent Nashville show. The band was tight and Jerry’s passion in his performance shined. Of all the concerts I’ve seen this was by far THE BEST! If you haven’t seen him live…you have no idea what you’re missing!
@@monkeyliver1986 the Nashville show was on April 17th right after that. He was definitely getting over something. You could tell he wasn't feeling too well but Jerry being the type of performer he is gave it 200%. Nobody in the entire place sat down for the whole concert and they played about two and a half hours. It was unbelievable. Hopefully at some point he'll make the concert up in your area and if he does you should do whatever you can to make sure you go. It's worth every penny!
@Barbara Schlegel When you replied to the Orlando CoVid Cancellation Comment, did you mean Nashville Show April 17th was after the cancelled Orlando show? And even though he was sick, he still performed well...Wow. I was at this BigNightLive Boston Show April 6th...I thought I was the only person wearing a mask (until I just saw the video) but the majority wore no masks. And cheering loud and singing along..Lots of microDroplets flying around that’s for sure. Plus there were no glass barriers between stage and crowd... And I was worried Jerry and Band may get the SarsCovid virus...I guess 2 weeks later they got sick and had to cancel shows?? Glad they’re ok now... They all looked good at this Boston show and Jerry looked really Happy 😊❤️
Jerry is the last testimony of that dark part of grunge movement, his unmistakable style of singing and playing guitar always remind me how unique were the first and only AIC 💓
There needs to be a Rifflord statue you can see before you get to Seattle in the skylight erected in honor of the Grudge God…Jerry Fulton Cantrell Jr.💕💕💕
Jerry is a complete gentleman in person. Couldn't meet a nicer guy - tough to find that quality in someone with his (extensive) accomplishments. Thanks for everything you've done for all of us Jerry.
I got kicked out of a Jerry fan group on Facebook because some people were complaining about him being grumpy during the after show signings. I was like, GTFO town, and they banned me, lol. He is, no doubt, a total gentleman and the best of the best. A humble Genius who has persevered against all odds to continue to bring us the gift of his music. Will allow no criticism on my watch, lol.
I can always feel Laynes presence around Jerry when he puts out new material. Just close your eyes n you'll know what I'm talking about. God Bless you Jerry. Great tune.
It is just absurd to realise that Jerry has never produced any bad sound or song in his entire career (someone else commented something similar, and it's so so so true). AiC is so important and yet underrated (definitely appreciated by many influential musicians but somehow I feel they are not yet appreciated enough). Thank you, GENIUS!
Well said. Yes i bet my life he's a sweetheart too. And a real son of s bitch too! Best of both b worlds Om thrilled for him and his bands going so absolutely off the charts awesome .
