To DC.Mate you are right but wrong at the same time. Your a bit narrow minded so here are the facts.
You are the true custodians of this club being home grown and have the opportunity to go to games supporting a team your family through generations supported. I know that feeling all the way her in Australia as I too grew up near the ground of my football team and loved them so much no matter how bad they were back then. I ended up working for the club free for 14yrs being inside the heart of the rooms like the famous bootroom at Anfield. Your local club is no longer local it's world wide. Fans love what you guys do singing and creating an environment never to be matched. The songs the atmospher you fans create is what fans outside Liverpool want to be part of or experience once in their lives. These same people want to meet the locals to hear your stories and feel your passion. Even when a scouser visits Australia they are swamped by Liverpool fans wanting to know what it's like at Anfield. You should be proud that this is how fans outside of Liverpool perceive you and not be bitter against us. I understand your maybe venting against the tourists who take selfies at games instead of singing and supporting the team, be part of it instead of waiting to be entertained. I get it it pisses me off too no more then seeing players taking selfies after winning a trophy instead of being in the moment. One day I will be at Anfield singing my ass off and meeting locals maybe even you. For the record I hated soccer as it's called here growing up and become a Liverpool fan after the FA Cup loss to Wimbledon which I win a bet with my step father that Liverpool would loose. I loved the way Liverpool played from that day and I was even more hooked after Hillsborough. I would listen to games at 2am on radio as that's all we had here back then other then a 1hr highlights show. Now we see every game live. I can only dream to be in your shoes and as an international member I support ad much as I can afford for a club I can't afford to see weekly. Just think if you don't have the overseas support you would have no Fenway group building your stands you locals sing in, no overseas players no overseas support. If that's what you want you'll end up like Tranmere.

Who has cheerleaders now days. The only reasons you sing now days is to keep warm it's cold when you loose as much as your club. When you have zero success I guess songs have to come from nightclub DJ's to fake an atmospher.
